Chapter 300 Even Forgetting Her Name.

Cecily gazed at Darian, silently pondering whether the unspoken words from Owen could create a lasting divide between them.

"Since we are here, let's resolve everything together." Darian kissed Cecily's soft lips and said in a low, hoarse voice.

Cecily pressed Darian's lips with her hand, looking at him, and said very seriously, "Darian, can you promise me one thing?"

"What?"

"No matter what happens in the future, or any grievances, never take it out on the child, okay?"

Darian looked at Cecily, silent for a moment. "Have you realized something?"

Cecily has been acting strange tonight.

Cecily shook her head lightly. "I don't know, I just feel very uneasy, always feel like something is going to be discovered."

Given Owen's intense disgust towards her, this issue must be quite significant. Despite her past act of donating a kidney to save Darian, it seemed that it did little to diminish the deep-seated hatred Owen harbors toward her.

Darian looked at Cecily, noticing the slight melancholy and worry on her face, a sense of compassion surged in his heart, leaning slightly, he gently stroked her hair and said softly, "Don't worry; I'm here."

His voice was gentle yet powerful, as if it had a special kind of magic that could dispel the darkness in Cecily's heart.

Cecily raised her eyes slightly and nodded.

Darian was right about one thing, since they were here, they should make the best of it, they didn't know what would happen next, worrying unnecessarily was futile.

"Let's not talk about this. Did you get hurt?"

Darian raised an eyebrow, casually opening his arms. "See for yourself."

Cecily's eyes drifted downward, noticing a few undone buttons that exposed a patch of wheat-colored skin on his chest.

Despite being married for three years and having seen each other unclothed on numerous occasions, Cecily still felt a twinge of shyness as she undressed him.

She coughed lightly, her gaze slightly confused as she moved away. "Can't you feel if your back is injured?"

"I can't feel it; it didn't hurt just now. But now it suddenly feels a bit painful, I can't see where the injury is myself."

While Darian spoke, his eyes remained fixed on Cecily's flushed face. There was no hint of deceit in his expression.

Cecily thought about how he already had an injury, and now he was injured again because of saving her, she really felt guilty.

But Darian's current gaze was not pure, it was the kind of look that seemed like he wanted to devour her.

Cecily felt a bit in danger.

"Put me down," she said gently.

Darian smiled at Cecily, the soft light accentuating her fair skin and enhancing her delicate charm. She had applied a touch of makeup that evening, accentuating her flawless features and making her look even more exquisite. In a spontaneous gesture, Darian leaned in and kissed Cecily's lips.

Cecily wanted to escape, but she was held back by his strong arm, pulled back into his embrace.

Cecily hesitated, mumbling incoherently, "Darian, we're in the car; what do you want to do?"

Darian embraced the woman, placing her hand on his shoulder, encircling her neck with his arms, and tenderly stayed close to her.

"I'm not doing anything." Darian's voice was low and hoarse.

"You can't control yourself." Cecily gasped softly as he kissed her, placing her hand on his shoulder, finally finding a chance to catch her breath.

"Yes, I can't control myself; what should I do?" His voice carried a hint of casual laughter.

Cecily's face blushed, the man in front of her was slightly disheveled, different from his usual dignified and noble appearance, he now exuded a bit of recklessness and seduction.

What should she do?

"Go on?" Darian seemed to be seeking her opinion, but his casual gaze shifted, and his hot lips had already descended.

Cecily had no time to refuse and could only be embraced by him, deeply kissing him.

Cecily felt her breath becoming increasingly erratic, the atmosphere in the narrow carriage was exceptionally ambiguous.

Darian kissed Cecily passionately, his fingers unconsciously lowering the zipper of her dress, his hand gently caressing her. The warmth of his touch sent a jolt of electricity through Cecily, causing her to tremble slightly and nearly release a soft gasp.

Cecily wanted to stop Darian's frantic behavior, opened her eyes, and inadvertently noticed something outside. She screamed in fright.

This scream also brought Darian back from his daze, thinking he had hurt her. "What's wrong?"

Cecily quickly buried her head in Darian's chest, pointing outside with her slender and fair fingers, her voice trembling. "Someone."

Darian turned to look outside and saw a person standing there. Darian's brow furrowed, first comforting the embarrassed Cecily, "It's okay. They can't see inside."

Cecily's eyelashes trembled, finally willing to lift her head and look out the window, noticing the person outside, she was slightly stunned. "It's him."

"Who?" Darian stood up straight, pulling Cecily up to sit properly. "Do you know him?"

"He's the man who saved me at Eliza's villa that night."

It was the man who kept calling her sister that night, although he had dyed his blonde hair black now, his outstanding features still made Cecily recognize him at a glance.

Cecily saw him looking into the car window, obviously looking for someone.

"I'll go out and have a look." Darian pulled her back, "Like this?"

Cecily looked down at her dress, then raised her head, glaring at Darian in annoyance. "Look at what you’ve done."

Darian patiently helped her straighten her dress. "My bad."

After fixing her outfit, Darian handed her a coat to put on.

After confirming her attire was fine, Cecily pushed open the car door and walked out.

The man saw her, his eyes flickering slightly, revealing a big smile at Cecily, "Sis, we meet again."

"You?" Cecily remembered he said he had no name last time; she still didn't know his name.

At that time, Darian got off the car and said to Cecily, “Introduce him to me?”

"I have no name; you can give me one." The man said.

"You have no name? Really?" Cecily found it hard to believe. He appeared to be in his twenties; how could a grown adult not have a name?

"Maybe I do, but I forgot, to be honest with you, I forget things every once in a while, and by the time I realize this problem, I've already forgotten my name."

Cecily was surprised, "Are you experiencing amnesia?"

I'm not sure. I've visited a doctor, but they couldn't identify any issues," the man said with a slight smile. "So, I remain nameless. As for seeking you out, it was noted in my journal. Someone tasked me with finding you, to ensure your safety. However, it appears I mistakenly approached the wrong individual earlier, mistaking them for you.”

"Find me, protect me? Do you remember who asked you to do this?" Cecily asked anxiously.
