Chapter 337 Save Her

"Boss, don't be impulsive," Cassian said with a look of horror.

Blaise had a bad temper and was truly capable of doing such things.

But the Bennett family had not yet planned to make Eliza pay immediately; they probably had other intentions.

"Boss, the Bennett family seems to want to keep Eliza for other plans. Why don't we spare her life for now? Besides, Cecily's eyes didn't turn out this way for no reason. Maybe Eliza did something to harm her, so Eliza needs to stay alive, at least for Cecily's eyes."

"Boss..."

Blaise turned back and gave him a look, "Say one more word, and you're out."

Cassian immediately shut his mouth.

"He's right. Eliza needs to stay alive," Bryan said calmly.

Blaise gave Bryan an extremely cold look.

After a moment, he raised his hand and walked away.

Bryan stood to the side, picked up his phone, lit a cigarette, and smoked slowly, waiting for the person on the other end to answer.

Vivienne was anxiously waiting for news and answered almost instantly, "How is Cecily? Did you find her?"

"We found her. She should be fine."

"What about her eyes? How are they?"

"Two men lost their minds trying to save her, so I didn't have time to check," Bryan said calmly.

Vivienne felt very worried. Her heart had been racing all night, and she couldn't feel at ease. Cecily's eyes were still an unknown, making her extremely anxious.

"I understand."

"Can I come back now?"

"Come back. You can't help much anyway," Vivienne said, not in the mood to talk more, and hung up the phone.

Looking at the phone that had been ruthlessly hung up, Bryan shook his head with a smile, his deep eyes full of helplessness.

Vivienne stood in the room, looking down at Eliza lying on the bed, her expression cold, "Wake her up."

The doctor quickly woke Eliza, who opened her eyes in confusion, looking at Vivienne and then at the doctors standing nearby. She was puzzled, "Mom? What's going on?"

Vivienne suppressed her anger and forced a smile, "Awake? The doctor said you fainted from exhaustion. Have you been overworking lately?"

Eliza looked at Vivienne and frowned, "I fainted from exhaustion?"

"Yes," Vivienne nodded.

The doctor beside her immediately agreed, "Yes, miss, you need to rest more, or your body won't be able to take it."

Eliza looked at the doctor and finally believed their explanation.

She hadn't been resting well lately, constantly fearing something going wrong, especially since Cecily hadn't been caught yet.

Cecily!

Eliza's brow furrowed, and she immediately looked at her phone, becoming tense.

She pretended to be calm and asked tentatively, "Mom, how long was I out?"

"About three or four hours," Vivienne looked at her, "What's wrong? Why are you sweating so much? Are you still feeling unwell?"

Eliza shook her head, forcing herself to calm down, "It's nothing, Mom. I just have some things to finish for your welcome party tomorrow, and I'm afraid I'll delay it."

Vivienne patted her shoulder, "Leave those things to others. You just rest well."

"But Mom, I want to arrange the party for you personally. It's my way of showing filial piety," she said with red eyes, looking disappointed.

Vivienne, however, remained indifferent, "I see your filial piety. Just rest well and don't overwork yourself. Don't worry, the party will be held on time."

Hearing Vivienne insist on her resting, Eliza had no choice but to agree, "All right, thank you, Mom. I want to sleep a bit more."

"Okay, you rest. We'll leave now."

Vivienne and the doctor left, and Eliza immediately picked up her phone to check the call log, looking for any calls from Matthias.

After checking, she felt relieved that no calls had come in while she was unconscious.

She quickly called Matthias, wondering if they had caught Cecily.

She made two calls, but no one answered. Eliza's palms were sweating, fearing something had gone wrong, but she comforted herself, thinking it was normal not to get a signal in the mountains sometimes.

Vivienne sat in the study, expressionless, with two elders standing in front of her.

Vivienne thought silently for a few seconds before speaking, "Tomorrow's party will go on as planned. I need you to arrange something for me."

The two elders nodded immediately, "Yes, head of the family, we will take care of it."

"Go ahead."

Vivienne squinted her eyes. Eliza had once pinned the title of Ms. Bennett on her, and tomorrow she would personally take it off.

The journey down the mountain to the hospital usually took three to four hours, but Darian had shortened it to two hours.

When Cecily woke up, she had just arrived at the hospital. Her vision was still dark, but she felt someone holding her and running desperately.

Cecily leaned against the man's chest, recognizing the familiar scent as Darian's.

Darian's face was full of anxiety, and he was sweating from running so hard. He no longer had his usual calm and noble demeanor, looking rather disheveled instead.

Cecily didn't make a sound, and a tear slipped from the corner of her eye.

She couldn't see him anymore, maybe never again.

The doctor came out with a gurney, looking tense as he saw the man holding a severely injured woman.

When Darian put Cecily down, she closed her eyes.

"Save her!" Darian grabbed the doctor. Though it was a simple sentence, the doctor felt its weight, ten times more pressure than usual.

"Don't worry, we'll do our best," the doctor and nurses immediately took Cecily inside.

Darian was left outside the emergency room, watching the door slowly close, feeling immense pain.

His blood-stained hands trembled slightly as he looked at the closed door, filled with anxiety. Despite the hospital's warm air conditioning, he still felt cold and empty inside.
