Chapter 152 If Rowan is Found in My Place, You Can Deal with Me However You Like

Cecily understood this, but still couldn't help but ask.

Cecily asked, "Is Darian at home?"

"Mr. Fitzgerald is currently not here."

Cecily nodded, "Understood."

She returned to the car.

Aurelie said, "Cecily?"

Cecily took out her phone and called Darian, but he didn't pick up the call twice.

Cecily's expression grew colder. "We'll wait for him here."

Aurelie, worried about Cecily's injury and knowing that Cecily was concerned about the child, knew she would never leave. She decided to help Cecily with her wound in the car.
When Aurelie saw the wound on Cecily's back, she sucked in a sharp breath. The wound was not deep, but it was a long one, enough to show that the assailant didn't want to kill Cecily, but still meant business.

Aurelie cried as she tended to Cecily's wound and cursed Darian for not being human.

Cecily, however, closed her eyes and seemed unusually calm. Despite her expressionless face, it was clear that she was deep in thought.

She appeared calm on the surface, but her inner turmoil was far from calm.

"It hurts a little, Cecily. Just endure it."

Aurelie dipped a cotton swab into the solution and began to disinfect the wound.

When the solution touched the wound, Cecily shook in pain, clutching her hand tightly.

The clean back revealed a frightening wound.

Aurelie had a clean jacket in the car, which she gave to Cecily to cover the torn clothes and the wound.

A car honked its horn, and Cecily looked up to see a luxurious Rolls-Royce slowly approaching.

It was Darian's car.

Cecily got out of the car and stopped Darian's vehicle.

The driver saw her and abruptly hit the brakes. Due to inertia, Darian, sitting in the backseat, slightly leaned forward. He squinted his eyes displeasedly and asked, "What's going on?"

Larkin, sitting in the passenger seat, quickly said, "Mr. Fitzgerald, it seems like the person ahead is Miss Cecily."

"Cecily?" Darian narrowed his eyes dangerously. "Go down and ask her if she's gone crazy."

Larkin didn't dare to waste time and immediately got out of the car and stood in front of Cecily. Under the illumination of the car headlights, Cecily's already pale face appeared even paler.

When Larkin met Cecily's cold gaze, his steps stuttered slightly.

It was clear that Cecily was in a bad mood.

But... what happened?

"Miss Cecily, what's the matter?"

"Tell him I want to see him."

Listening to Cecily's cold voice, Larkin anxiously looked back at the people in the car.

The car slowly started and stopped next to Cecily. Darian lowered the window and coldly said, "Get in."

Larkin said, "Miss Cecily, please."

Aurelie anxiously held onto Cecily's hand and asked, "Cecily, can you handle this alone?"

"I can. Wait for me outside."

Saying that, Cecily followed Larkin inside Fitzgerald's Family.

In the living room of Fitzgerald's Family, Darian sat with his long legs crossed, his commanding and elegant presence on the sofa. He furrowed his eyebrows and looked at the woman standing in front of him with an extremely cold expression, feeling somewhat puzzled.

"What do you want?"

"Give my child back to me."

Another mention of a child.

Was this woman insane?

The child was with him, did she think he will eat the child or something? Why was she so desperate to take the child back.

Cecily's eyes, cold and angry, stared at him...

Darian became somewhat angry and said in a composed voice, "Are you in such a hurry? Am I going to eat your child?"

"You directly snatched the child, like robbers and thieves. How could I not be anxious?" Cecily had been suppressing her temper, but now she couldn't hold back and yelled.

Darian's face darkened.

He snatched the child?

It was simply a joke.

"I snatched the child? Ha, Cecily, did you come here just to talk nonsense?"

Cecily took a deep breath, trying to stay calm, and looked at Darian with icy cold eyes.

"Rowan was kidnapped. I saw the car drive into your Fitzgerald's Family half an hour ago. And you still try to argue, Darian."

A deeper chill passed through Darian's eyes, furrowing his brow. "Are you saying the child is missing?"

"Don't play dumb!"

"I can guarantee you that I did not order anyone to take your child. Now that the child is missing, the most important thing is to find the child."

Cecily's eyes were red. "Darian, the child is in your Fitzgerald's Family. Where else do you need to look?"

"You just found out about the child yesterday, and today this happened. Don't you need to give me an explanation?"

Darian furrowed his brow, looking at Cecily with a very certain expression, not at all like she was telling lies.

Darian was puzzled, his deep black eyes falling on Larkin.

Larkin was terrified and quickly said, "Mr. Fitzgerald, it wasn't us. You didn't give the order, how could we dare to kidnap Rowan."

Darian's suspicious gaze fell on Cecily's face. "Cecily, are you sure you're telling the truth?"

Cecily sarcastically pulled her lip. "Could it be that I falsely accused you? Late at night, for no reason, I came all the way here to falsely accuse you, Darian?"

Darian's temples throbbed.

Without his orders, no one in Fitzgerald's Family would dare to touch Cecily and her child.

He couldn't understand why Cecily came to him to find the child.

He muttered lowly, "Gather everyone and find them."

"...Yes." Larkin hesitated for a moment and asked, "Mr. Fitzgerald...where should we search?"

They definitely did not kidnap the child.

Darian slammed his phone on the table, his face terrifyingly dark. "Search the entire Fitzgerald's Family. Let her lose hope."

"Yes, I'll go immediately."

"Cecily, if Rowan is found in my place, you can deal with me however you like," Darian said through gritted teeth.

Darian was angry that some scumbag had kidnapped the child and framed him.

Cecily smirked, "Alright, if you want to put on a show, I'll play along."

The two of them stared at each other, trying to read something from the other's expression, neither willing to look away.

The atmosphere in the living room became tense all of a sudden.

Darian's gloomy eyes looked at the woman in front of him, who had tears in her eyes yet a stubborn face. He couldn't help but feel sorry for her.

Moreover, she didn't look too well today, and there was a faint smell of blood in the air.
