Chapter 636 Sending You All to Hell
"Don't choke her out, man. We can't mess with her if she's dead." Lillian stepped up, grabbed Stanley's arm, and yanked him back.
Stanley's eyes were wild, and once he got riled up, there was no stopping him.
Nathaniel was scheming against him, and now Nathaniel's girl dared to mock him right to his face? Who did they think they were?
Stanley clenched his teeth, refusing to let go.
Aurelie gasped, the air slipping away from her.
She was like a fish out of water, desperately trying to breathe.
Lillian pulled at Stanley's hand, "I said let go. If you kill her, it's all over. Remember, without her, you can't get to Nathaniel."
Lillian wasn't saving Aurelie out of kindness; she just wanted her alive to make her suffer.
Stanley shut his eyes, finally calming down, and let go of Aurelie, who crumpled to the floor.
Aurelie lay there, her face red from lack of air, coughing like crazy until she could breathe again.
Seeing Aurelie so helpless, Lillian felt a rush of satisfaction.
She crouched down, grabbed Aurelie's chin, and sneered, "Aurelie, bet you didn't see this coming, huh? You're mine now. I told you I'd make you pay."
Aurelie looked at Lillian, who was seething with hatred, and forced herself to stay calm, meeting her gaze without flinching, "You, the eldest daughter of the Lewis family, always scheming to steal my man and make me suffer. Look at you now. Don't you see how pathetic and ridiculous you are?"
Lillian was pissed, and slapped Aurelie, "You bitch, you're the one tied up here. How dare you mock me? Aren't you scared I'll kill you?"
Of course, Aurelie was scared.
These two were ruthless, and their torture methods were probably next-level.
She had no idea what was coming, but she knew it wouldn't be good.
But Aurelie also knew that fear was pointless, and begging wouldn't help. They'd already decided what they were gonna do to her.
With that in mind, she had nothing left to fear.
Aurelie turned her head back, "Did I hit a nerve? Got pissed, huh?"
Seeing Aurelie wasn't scared, Lillian narrowed her eyes and stood up to grab a knife from the nearby table.
That's when Aurelie noticed the table was covered with all sorts of terrifying torture tools.
Lillian picked up a small knife and pressed it against Aurelie's face.
The cold, sharp blade made her shiver.
"Think I'll mess up your pretty face right now?" Lillian's eyes were full of malice, but Stanley, who had calmed down, stepped in, "Don't cut her face."
"What, feeling sorry for her?" Lillian shot back.
Stanley sneered, "I just don't want my bargaining chip to be damaged. It won't help with negotiations. Once we get what we want, you can do whatever you want to her. For now, hold off."
Stanley took the knife from Lillian's hand.
Lillian rolled her eyes at Aurelie, "Consider yourself lucky. Once we get what we want, you're gonna suffer."
Aurelie clenched her hands, tied behind her back. From Stanley's words, it seemed like even if Nathaniel showed up and did what they wanted, they still wouldn't let them go.
So, this was a trap for Nathaniel.
Aurelie's breathing got shallow as she tried to take in her surroundings. But she was stuck in a room with no view outside, making her even more nervous. She prayed Nathaniel wouldn't come.
She kept praying, but in the end, it was useless.
She didn't know how much time had passed when they suddenly dragged her up and locked her in another room. This room had a one-way glass window that let her see the entire adjacent room.
But clearly, the people in the other room couldn't see through this glass.
Lillian grabbed Aurelie's clothes, grumbling, "Nathaniel actually came for you. What makes you so special to him?"
Lillian's words dripped with resentment.
"Let's see if you're more important to Nathaniel or if his years of hatred matter more." Lillian yanked Aurelie forward, making sure she had a clear view of the adjacent room.
As the door to the other room opened.
Aurelie anxiously looked up and saw who walked in.
It was Nathaniel.
He actually came.
Aurelie's emotions surged as she threw herself against the glass, calling out to him. But the glass was soundproof, and the people on the other side couldn't hear a thing.
"What are you gonna do to him?" Aurelie feared a repeat of the casino scene, her eyes instantly welling up as she looked at Lillian.
Lillian just sneered, "Keep watching, and you'll find out. Don't worry, we'll make sure to send both of you to hell together."
