Chapter 407 Bryan is her biological father

Hearing this, Cecily was stunned.

"Father?"

Bryan stared at Wade with a cold expression, his voice filled with gritted teeth. "That's right. He's the man your mother always thought about, your biological father."

Wade paused for a moment, then a complex, bitter smile appeared on his face.

If Cecily was his daughter, he would have no regrets in this life.

Cecily's confused gaze flickered between the two.

'Wade is my biological father?' she wondered.

But Vivienne had never mentioned it to her.

"Bryan, after all these years, you're still the same." Wade's voice was gentle, but with a hint of sarcasm.

Bryan let out a cold laugh.

"And you, after all these years, still can't forget my wife."

Wade lightly curled his lips and replied, "I just haven't seen her for a long time, so I came to see her. There's no other meaning. You don't have to be so hostile towards me."

"Really, is that all? I doubt it."

Bryan clenched his fists.

Vivienne and Wade had a daughter, Cecily, a bond that could never be erased between them.

Bryan was almost driven crazy with jealousy.

Seeing this, Darian moved to pull Cecily to his side, placing her in an absolutely safe position.

Cecily's eyes trembled slightly.

They were rivals in love, and she was the daughter of Vivienne and Bryan's rival.

Things were getting messy, and Cecily frowned.

"Dad."

Following the voice, Freya hurried over, tears in her eyes as she grabbed Bryan's arm and cried. "Dad, I finally found you. Mom is sick, and it looks serious. I don't know what to do. Please go back and see her."

Wade paused. "Dad? Mom?"

Someone else was calling Bryan father, and the mother Freya mentioned wasn't Vivienne. So where did that leave Vivienne?

Wade's usually gentle expression turned cold.

"Take her to the hospital. I have things to do here," Bryan said in a deep voice.

Freya glanced at the people standing around and then looked back timidly. "But Dad, Mom seems very sick. I'm scared to go alone. Please come with me."

Wade pressed his lips tightly and asked, "Bryan, you took Vivienne from me back then and made her your wife. What's this about?"

Bryan turned to look at Wade, with no intention of explaining. "What does it have to do with you?"

Wade's face lost its earlier gentleness, and he gave a cold smile. "What does it have to do with me? Didn't you just say Cecily is the daughter of Vivienne and me? In that case, it's not too much for me to ask on Vivienne's behalf."

Something in Wade's words seemed to ignite Bryan's anger. He grabbed Wade by the collar. "That's between Vivienne and me. It's none of your business."

Wade didn't dodge, his eyes cold but his expression calm.

"If you don't cherish her, why did you take her away? You have a wife and kids outside. Where does that leave Vivienne?"

"Shut up if you don't know anything. And when she gave birth to your child, where did that leave me?"

Wade coldly laughed in his heart, shook his head, and slowly pried Bryan's hand off his collar. "Vivienne said you don't deserve to know. It seems you really don't."

Vivienne didn't plan to tell Bryan about Cecily's parentage, so Wade naturally had no right to tell him.

Bryan narrowed his dark eyes and asked, "What do you mean?"

"Just what it sounds like, don't overthink it."

Wade calmly straightened his collar, glanced back at Cecily, nodded slightly, and then walked away.

Bryan's forehead veins bulged with anger.

She didn't want to see him but saw Wade instead.

'Vivienne, you still can't forget Wade,' Bryan thought to himself.

Freya stood aside, seemingly realizing something significant, her eyes filled with calculation.

Cecily remained silent.

Vivienne never mentioned her father, and Bryan said Wade was her biological father. But if it were true, Wade should have admitted it just now.

But he didn't.

So now Cecily was confused, with countless questions swirling in her mind.

'Why doesn't Vivienne want to tell her who her biological father was?Why did Bryan say Wade was her biological father, but Wade didn't admit it?And what did Wade mean by saying Bryan didn't deserve to know?

If I wasn't Wade's daughter, then Bryan misunderstood Vivienne and Wade. And Wade saying Bryan didn't deserve to know. Could it be because Bryan hurt Vivienne that he didn't deserve to know she was his biological daughter? And my mother hates Bryan, so she didn't want me to acknowledge Bryan as my father, which is why she never mentioned my biological father,' she wondered.

Cecily focused her thoughts and looked at Bryan.

'Could I really be Bryan's daughter?' Cecily thought.

Wade had already left.

If she wanted answers to these questions, she could only ask Vivienne.

Freya was now pulling Bryan's arm, trying to get him to leave.

Cecily glanced at Freya, her eyes falling on her bag. She hadn't forgotten about last night's incident.

Victor had bad intentions, but he didn't need to use an aphrodisiac on himself. So, the ones playing tricks could only be Freya and Jennifer.

Cecily's eyes turned cold as she looked at Freya. "Mrs. Cruz, since you're here, why not come in and sit for a while? I have something to ask you."

Freya's eyes showed fear as she forced a smile. "Cecily, can we talk about it later? My mom is very sick right now, and we need to go back."

"No rush, we'll send your mother to the hospital for the best treatment. Besides, you can't treat her illness. What can you do by going?"

"What important thing do you have to discuss with me?"

Cecily narrowed her eyes, danger evident in them. "Of course, it's about last night."
