Chapter 197 Jealous and Kissed the Mouth Fiercely

Cecily ignored Ophelia behind her.

As she walked out of the cafe, the sky outside gradually darkened, and a black car slowly stopped in front of her.

Cecily glanced sidelong at it.

The car window rolled down slowly, and Blaise raised an eyebrow. "Get in."

Cecily didn't refuse and got in from the other side.

"Is everything ready?"

Cecily hesitated for a moment when Blaise asked this. "Um, when the time comes, you take Griffin and Rowan and leave first. I'm afraid something will delay me."

"Are you afraid that Darian will stop you?"

Cecily was indeed afraid.

Not only was she afraid of that, but she was also afraid that the two children would be taken away.

What would happen to her? She wasn't afraid, but she was afraid that the children would be endangered in the chaos.

"Yes."

"Based on the current situation, Darian won't show up at the engagement banquet, and not only that, he won't let the banquet continue."

Blaise, casually leaning against the steering wheel, spoke.

Cecily shook her head. "No, he will go. Owen will definitely find a way to make him appear in order to save face."

The cafe was not far from Cecily's apartment. The car stopped in front of the apartment, and Cecily got out of the car.

Meanwhile, not far away, a luxurious Rolls-Royce had been parked for who knows how long.

The car window in the driver's seat rolled down slowly, and the man held a cigarette between his fingertips, surrounded by smoke. His deep, attractive features exuded a touch of coldness.

The surrounding lights were dim, and at this moment, the expression on his face was extremely gloomy.

Through the dim, yellow light, his icy gaze fell upon Cecily and Blaise.

"Drive slowly on your way back," Cecily said.

Mhmm," Blaise replied.

Cecily took a few steps forward, then seemingly remembered something and stopped in her tracks. She turned her head to look at Blaise, her delicate and beautiful face forming a faint smile. "Blaise, thank you."

Blaise raised an eyebrow. "I told you, don't say thank you to me."

Cecily tugged at her lip.

"So what should I say then? Good job. All these are things you should do for me?" Cecily muttered softly, "Then I'm really shameless."

Blaise beckoned her over with a wave of his hand.

Cautiously, Cecily approached. "What are you doing?"

Without a word, Blaise suddenly leaned down and gently embraced the woman in front of him.

Cecily was momentarily stunned, her body tensed up, and the dim light cast a hazy glow upon them.

"The next time you want to thank me, just give me a hug." His deep, magnetic voice was so alluring.

He embraced her lightly and let go.

His deep eyes were filled with love but also concealed immense restraint.

Cecily snapped out of her daze, and Blaise curved his lips into a smile, lightly patting her fluffy hair. "I'm leaving, go back now."

Cecily blinked her eyes, watching Blaise leave.

At that moment, her heart quivered and quickly returned to calm.

Blaise...

He was so good...

So good that Cecily didn't feel she was worthy of him.

She still remembered the first time she saw Blaise, on a night of pouring rain, when she was on the verge of despair, and the man held an umbrella and slowly squatted down.

She took out the last ten dollars from her pocket, begging him to take her to the hospital.

She remembered Blaise murmuring softly, "What should I do? Ten dollars is a huge sum. I have to save her."

Cecily smiled lightly, pursing her lips, and turned back to walk.

In the next moment, a car slowly stopped beside her, and the window rolled down, revealing Darian's handsome face.

There was no warmth on his face at this moment, and under the moonlight, he seemed even colder.

Cecily looked at the man with some surprise.

Half an hour ago, Ophelia was still looking for Darian at her place, but now Darian appeared.

Since the two of them part on bad terms Cecily hadn't seen Darian for a long time. Even when Rowan was discharged from the hospital, it was Larkin who came over.

Putting her thoughts away, Cecily remained silent and did not look at him again. She turned around and quickly walked inside.

Darian raised his hand and rubbed his brow before pushing open the car door and stepping out. He strode over to Cecily's side.

"How long do you plan on ignoring me?" he griped, grabbing Cecily's wrist.

Cecily turned her head away. "It's not that I'm ignoring you. It's just that there's nothing to say."

She truly didn't know what to say to him.

"So you have nothing to say to me, but you can chat and laugh with Blaise and even hug him?" Darian coldly questioned.

That natural smile on Cecily's face was something Darian hadn't seen in a long time.

Ever since she came back from abroad, she had always been cold and distant toward him.

Cecily looked at Darian and retorted, "Yeah, I like chatting and laughing with him. What's wrong with hugging? It's none of your business. Even if we kiss after having a good time, it has nothing to do with you."

Cecily's words were like pouring fuel on the fire, causing Darian to grow colder with each passing moment.

"Fine, it's fine," he said with a bend of his waist before lifting Cecily up.

Caught off guard by the sudden lift, Cecily was startled and instinctively held onto Darian's neck.

"Darian, what are you doing? Put me down!" Cecily pounded on Darian.

However, Darian seemed to not hear her. He held her tightly with his strong arms, completely unaffected by Cecily's struggles.

He directly placed her in the car, then quickly circled around to the other side. Cecily took the opportunity to open the door and run away.

Seeing this, Darian pulled her back into the car and locked the doors.

Cecily pressed the unlock button but to no avail. Helpless, she resigned herself, crossing her arms and closing her eyes as she leaned against the passenger seat.

Right now, she didn't want to say a single word to Darian.

Darian drove fast on the wide road, his foot heavy on the gas pedal. Cecily felt as if her heart was about to jump out of her chest.

"Darian, are you crazy?" Cecily felt like she was taking off. She tightly gripped onto her seatbelt, turning her head to look at Darian. "Darian!"

Did this person really have a grudge against her?

Either he didn't show up, or when he did, he wanted her life!

Just a moment ago, Cecily wasn't sure if Darian was angry, but now she was certain that he was.

His temper had always been bad, and he never restrained it.

Cecily squeezed the seatbelt even tighter, afraid that she might accidentally fly out.

Did men always go for a drive when they were angry?

Blaise was like this, too.

When he got angry, he would drive so aggressively that it seemed like he would push the car to its limits.

The key was that they would race, and she would always be in the car.

If they continued like this, Cecily could start preparing her own coffin.

A quick turn, and if it weren't for the seatbelt, Cecily felt like she could fly out.

Cecily couldn't stand it anymore, "Darian, that's enough, stop, stop quickly."

"Too fast, stop the car."

Darian acted as if he hadn't heard and continued driving fast.

His face was as dark as ink, and uncontrollable anger covered him.

Half an hour later, the car stopped in front of Fitzgerald's Group, and Darian pulled Cecily out of the car.

Cecily was still in a state of shock.

He walked quickly, and Cecily couldn't keep up with his pace, stumbling into the lobby of Fitzgerald's Group.

Cecily tried to pull her hand back with all her strength, but the more she struggled, the tighter his grip became. "Darian, why are you dragging me here?"

They went straight to the president's private elevator, and Cecily was pulled into his office, with his arms trapping her body against the wall the next moment.

"Mmm!"

Before she could finish speaking, Cecily couldn't make a sound.

A storm of kisses overwhelmed her!

Darian's handsome face was covered in a layer of frost.

This mouth always irritated him with its words.

Why she loved Blaise so much!

She could smile naturally and tenderly at Blaise, but she was as cold as a stranger to him.

Anger stacked up in his heart.

Every word she spoke made him angrier.

He buried his head and kissed that annoying mouth fiercely.
