Chapter 285 Remarrying, Everything I Have is Yours

At that moment, a sudden thud echoed from the bathroom.

Darian's heart clenched. Hastily abandoning his papers, he stood up and strode over. "Cecily, what happened?"

The voice inside trembled slightly. "I'm fine. Just got a leg cramp and slipped accidentally."

Furrowing his brow, Darian hesitated for a moment before pushing the door open and entering.

Cecily was trying to get up from the floor, propping herself with her hands. As the steam-filled bathroom door swung open, she lifted her head and met Darian's gaze.

Startled, Cecily didn't know which part of her body to cover first.

Ignoring her wet state, Darian furrowed his brow and, without a second thought, lifted her up and sat her down nearby.

Quickly grabbing a towel to cover her chest.

Darian bent down, holding her calf, "Where did it cramp?"

Cecily blushed as she revealed, "It's my left leg."

Darian's expression grew serious, and he gently massaged her calf.

Cecily inhaled sharply. "Wait! That hurts."

"Is it feeling better now?"

"It's still cramping. Hurts a lot!" Cecily winced, placing her hand on Darian's shoulder.

Easing his grip, Darian gently massaged her leg. "Still hurting?"

"It's better."

Darian released her leg; the shower was still on. In just a few minutes, his clean white shirt had gotten damp.

Meeting her damp eyes, Darian saw her smooth, delicate skin, disheveled hair cascading over her shoulders. A surge of desire churned within him.

"Did you hurt yourself earlier?"

His gaze was intense, causing Cecily to avert her eyes uncomfortably, and she cleared her throat. "No."

As she attempted to stand, Darian took a step closer. Cecily instinctively moved back, looking up to meet his deepening gaze.

Before she could say a word, her lips were captured by Darian's. Despite her initial resistance, he didn't give her a chance to escape, lifting her onto the sink.

His strong arms held her firmly, his lean body pressing against hers. Holding her slender waist, he drew her in for a deep kiss.

As their skin touched, both of them trembled.

Heart pounding, Cecily uttered, "Darian?"

His warm breath caressed her face, tinting her already flushed cheeks even rosier.

"Sorry, I had no intention other than wanting to be with you at first. But now, I couldn't resist; I just couldn't help myself."

His voice was husky.

"I can't hold back anymore; I don't want to. Cecily, I want you."

Cecily's body tensed, her trembling hand lightly resting on Darian's shoulder.

"Darian, I—"

Before she could finish her sentence, her crimson lips were silenced once again.

The only towel covering her was pulled off, causing Cecily to gasp hurriedly.

Darian's dark eyes clouded with desire, fixed on her. "Would you consider remarrying me? I'll give you everything."

Cecily's widened her eyes in surprise slightly, her expression growing more flustered. Clutching her thin shoulders, she responded, "Darian, please calm down first."

"I can't."

She was truly mesmerizing, rendering him utterly powerless.

His scorching lips trailed down her neck, eliciting a soft moan from Cecily, who tried to resist but couldn't help but yield.

Warmth cascaded down like molten coffee, enveloping Cecily in his embrace. Her body had already surrendered to him before her mind could catch up.

Amidst the steaming bathroom, ambiguity enveloped them as Darian released a muffled groan, finding satisfaction in their union.

In the quiet moment that followed, Cecily's hoarse pleas filled the air, tears glistening at the corners of her eyes. In her dazed state, she thought she heard Darian whisper something in her ear.

Perhaps it was "I love you."

Lost in time, Darian cleaned her up and carried her back to bed. Exhausted, Cecily made no movements, whereas he seemed relentless in his strength.

He gently kissed her forehead, his tender voice inquired, "Are you tired?"

Too fatigued to reply, Cecily lazily nodded with closed eyes.

Tucking her in, Darian observed her delicate and serene features, sighing softly as he silently cursed his past actions.

Suddenly, there came an abrupt knock at the door.

Furrowing his brow, Darian donned a robe, opened the bedroom door, and was surprised by the visitors outside.

"Father." Rowan and Griffin looked up at Darian.

"Darian." Austin and Hudson flashed wide smiles at him.

Surprised by their arrival, Darian inquired, "What brings you here?"

Leaning casually against the door frame, Austin nonchalantly replied, "The kids missed you, and since we were planning to visit the Bennett family tomorrow, we decided to bring both of them along."

"Father, where's Mommy?" Griffin blinked with anticipation.

Their longing for their mom overshadowed everything else.

Rowan also asked, "Where's Mommy?"

Austin and Hudson exchanged meaningful glances, and with a smile, Austin remarked, "Seems like we've come at the wrong time."

Darian swiftly picked up one child in each arm as they attempted to dash inside. The children pouted, their gazes filled with disappointment as they turned back to Darian. "We want to see Mommy."

Maintaining a composed demeanor, Darian firmly held the children at arm's length, his tall frame blocking the doorway. With a gentle tone, he explained, "She's sleeping."

"It's still early, only eleven in the morning. Does Mommy usually sleep this early?"

"Yes, she's tired." Darian lied without flinching, unperturbed by the children's innocence.

Austin and Hudson chuckled as Darian's handsome face revealed a hint of satisfaction.

"You'll see her tomorrow. Would you want to disturb her sleep now?"

Reluctant to disturb their mother's rest, the children suppressed their yearning and resigned themselves to seeing her the next day.

The following day, when Cecily awoke, the room was empty. Blushing at the recollection of the previous night's fervor, she couldn't help but feel a rush of warmth.

Partially awake, Cecily glanced at her phone; it was already past ten in the morning.

She picked up one of Darian's shirts carelessly from the bed, draping it over herself before heading to the bathroom.

Staring at herself in the mirror, Cecily observed the darkened marks on her delicate skin, a vivid reminder of their passionate encounter.

Biting her lip, she wondered, 'Has he not touched another woman in a long time?'

She was utterly exhausted from the night before.

After freshening up, Cecily changed into another outfit and emerged from the bathroom. Noticing a splendid evening gown hanging in the room, she arched an eyebrow, walking over for a closer look.

The gown was exquisite. 'Could it be that Darian had prepared it for me?' she thought.
