Chapter 117: He Threw Away the Tie
Chloe had been experiencing discomfort due to her menstrual cycle these past few days, so she planned to go back to her dormitory early after work. As she left the company, she saw Jacob waiting by the entrance.

They showered her with love and attention while I had a very low sense of existence in our familyand acted like I didn’t exist. When it came to cooking, my mom would only make Chloe's favorite dishes. When it came to parent-teacher conferences, my mom would attend Chloe's but not mine. When it came to money, Chloe would be given priority. Our family wasn't exactly wealthy, but we managed. Chloe hasd never known any worries when it came to food and clothing, while I grew up in this kind ofa household where my parents didn't give me anything. It was difficult not to have biases againstfeel resentful toward her. And now, things have changed. Our dDad passed away, and my mom is in a vegetative state," Jacob sincerely spoke thoese words with anger flickering in his eyes.
Chloe took had taken everything away from him.
Ellie knew that unfortunate people would spend their whole lives trying to heal.
"Now, I want to take revenge on my sister, but I need you to work with mer cooperation. What do you think?" Jacob said.
Jacob knew that Ellie liked Brayden and presumably held a grudge against Chloe as well. The enemy of an enemy is a friend, after all.
