"Since when did Chloe start matchmaking? No!" Barbara's tone was harsh, and she hated Chloe even more, believing her current predicament was Chloe's fault. They never got along, and Chloe had always discouraged Barbara from pursuing Jeffery. Now, after being raped by Matthew, Chloe would probably be delighted and couldn't wait to tell Jeffery the news.
