The next day, Chloe waited for Donovan at the company entrance, hoping to talk to him and explain the tie incident.
However, Donovan didn't show up, but Jacob unexpectedly appeared out of nowhere.
He pulled Chloe aside.
"CSis, come here, Chloe. Big brotherI’ve bought you a bag. Take it." After speaking, Jacob handed the Chanel bag to Chloe.
Thatis Chanel bag was the same as Ellie's bag.
The difference was that Chloe never paid any attention to bags, let alone what other peoples were carrying.

When Donovan walked into the company and saw Jacob and Chloe whispering to each other, holding something in their hands, he ignored them and went upstairs.
After returning to her office, Chloe sent a picture of the bag to Sofia, asking her to take a look.
Chloe didn't understand bags jJust like how Donovan didn't understand umbrellas, Chloe didn't understand bags.
"EllieD, didn't you leave your bag on the table, Ellie?" a colleague pointed to the Chanel bag on Ellie's desk.
"That's not what I meant. My bag is authentic. I, bought it from a department store for $35,000. I even took photos of the tag. And everything inside the bag, like my lipstick and tissues, is still the same today. ISo it's clear that the bag in the photo is mine. As long asIf the numbers on the tag match the ones on the bag, it's mine," Ellie explained, taking out her phone to show everyone the picture with the tag number.
"This is the receipt from the mall. I saved up for a year to buy thatis bag. But the number on the tag has changed now, it's different from the original. I even had someone online authenticate it, and it turneds out that theis bag wais fake!" Ellie burst into tears. After all, $35,000 wais not a small sum for her.
"What? Someone switched the bags? Who would do such a despicable thingact?" her colleagues exclaimed.
