His marriage to Chloe was just a business arrangement, which would end when his grandfather passed away. "I was filming out of town a few days ago. I called my grandfather and he mentioned his illness," Paisley said, actually calling her grandfather to see if he had passed away. Unexpectedly, he was still alive.
"Is that so? The doctor is indeed skilled," Donovan said indifferently.
"I also hope that your grandfather will be fine. But when I think about the marriage of convenience between you and Chloe, I..." Paisley started crying again, as if regretting her past behavior.

Around four o'clock in the afternoon, Chloe received a call from Paisley.
"Chloe, I left a USB drive in Donovan's handbag. Can you help me find it? The contents of this USB drive are very important. Don't let Donovan know, okay? Chloe?" Paisley pleaded.
"How did your USB drive end up in his handbag?" Chloe asked in surprise. After all the times she had been framed by Paisley, Chloe had to be more cautious.
"Don't ask. Anyway, the both of you are only in a marriage of convenience, so we won't hide anything from you," Paisley said.
