"Let him change the name instead," Donovan asserted.
"Why?" Ronald was taken aback, not understanding why Donovan felt the need to intervene even in matters of naming.
"I don't like it," Donovan said indignantly.
Ronald awkwardly chuckled, thinking to himself, 'It's not even his law firm; he is truly intimidating in his assertiveness.'
"But even though Brayden is my son, he might not necessarily listen to me," Ronald remarked.
"Do your best to make him change it," Donovan said before departing.
When Chloe was four months pregnant, she began working at the First accounting firm.
She was carrying twins, so her pregnancy was already showing.
Ultimately, Brayden did not change the office name, even after Ronald slapped him.
He was very fond of the First accounting firm.
As one of the partners, Chloe had her own independent and spacious office.
Compared to her office in the New East Group's audit department, it was much larger.

"I've always wanted to work with you and wanted you to work here at the South Central Accounting Firm? Eventually, you came! I think you and Brayden should be together!" Ann winked at Chloe.
Chloe felt powerless in her argument, so she remained silent.
However, Chloe was quite focused on the Innovate Creations Group project; it was a major project that would keep her busy for a while.
Ann mentioned that the financial director of Innovate Creations Group was a former classmate of hers. She had already spoken to the director and informed Chloe to contact him directly.
On that day, Chloe called the director.
"Mr. Wheeler, hello, I'm Ann's colleague, Chloe. She previously introduced me to your company's project. When would be a suitable time for me to pick up the materials from your end?" Chloe, now a partner, not only provided technical expertise but also handled business contacts. She earned more money now but also carried greater responsibilities.
"Well," Percy replied, "If you had called yesterday, I would have personally delivered the materials to you. But today, our boss agreed to the President of the New East Group, so I'm afraid I can't do much."
Chloe furrowed her brow.
"Theoretically, I should keep my word to Ann, but since the boss intervened, I'm sorry, there's not much I can do. I'll see if there's an opportunity next time," Percy added.
After the call ended, Chloe pondered for a long while.
It was the First accounting firm's first order. If this were given to the New East Group, all potential clients would follow suit, opting not to work with the First accounting firm. Consequently, the First accounting firm would face financial difficulties and likely shut down in the long run.
Chloe was no longer receiving a stable salary; she was now facing potential losses that she had to bear.
Moreover, Donovan himself had personally discussed business partnerships.
There was no room for Chloe to survive if she had to compete against him.
He was driving the entire Baker family to their limits.
As Brayden passed by Chloe's office and noticed her frustration, he walked in to inquire about the matter. Chloe explained everything as it was.
"This?" Brayden, however, seemed unfazed. "There are countless companies in Maple Valley; it's not just one. I'll handle the business side from now on. You can focus on project execution, alright?"
"Alright," Chloe said, although she still felt uneasy.
As soon as Donovan intervened, she knew there was no escaping unscathed.
Indeed, things didn't turn out as well as Brayden had anticipated. Henceforth, every time Brayden initiated a business contact, although conversations would start smoothly, the orders would ultimately land in Donovan's hands.
The New East Group was a large and renowned company with a prestigious audit department in Maple Valley, naturally attracting more attention.
By the end of the year, the First accounting firm had not secured a single order. Chloe didn't receive a single penny of commission.
The company was on the verge of incurring losses.
She knew that Donovan was likely targeting her in this scenario.
By now, Chloe was exasperated. Even if Donovan wasn't aiming directly at her, she was more than willing to confront him.
In Chloe's mind, Since he had already killed Amelia, he had no reason to spare her.
