Chapter 562 Who Is This?
Pamela held Barbara's face, murmuring, "Daughter, my daughter?"
"Yes, Mom, Aunt just found me recently."
"Her?" Real Pamela's eyes were filled with doubt. "Is she that kind-hearted?"
Fake Pamela laughed coldly, "Sister, I am not that kind-hearted. Since I threw you out, I naturally wouldn't find her for you. But Dad's money is in Marigoldia bank, and to get the password, I must find your daughter. I'm getting old, and I no longer hold such hatred for the child."
When Fake Pamela mentioned "the child," her heart paused for a moment.
Real Pamela had nothing to say, and after all these years, her mind was slow.
"Alright, sister, your biological daughter has been found. I've already asked Kathy to prepare a room. I'll have your daughter stay with you, and you can also go downstairs to see Dad." Fake Pamela added.
"Dad, Dad." Real Pamela seemed to go mad.
Real Pamela and Bradley had been in the same house for thirty years, but ever since she was locked up, Real Pamela has never seen her father.
Then, Real Pamela sprang up from her bed, pulled open the iron door, and rushed downstairs.
All these years, Real Pamela thought Bradley was dead, her daughter was lost, and Fred was gone. Real Pamela's hope for living had vanished.
Although Fake Pamela said that person was Real Pamela's daughter, Real Pamela always felt it wasn't true. She didn't feel that deep, flesh-and-blood connection.
Real Pamela was more eager to see her father.
Fake Pamela watched her sister's back with a sinister smile. They all thought Fake Pamela had a change of heart, but in reality, Pamela just wanted to deceive them. The old man might reveal the password when he saw Real Pamela.
Real Pamela saw her father lying in bed and kept shaking him, "Dad, Dad."
After so many years, Bradley had aged, gained weight, and grown a beard, with no one to shave it for him.
Bradley was also in tears, stroking his eldest daughter's face.
The eldest daughter had always been Bradley's pride and joy. They had depended on each other for over twenty years, and now, seeing each other again in such circumstances, it was hard not to feel emotional.
Fake Pamela and Barbara also came downstairs, watching the scene.
"How did you end up like this, Dad?" Real Pamela was extremely sad.
Kathy came to deliver a message, saying Bradley's old friend Neil had arrived.
Fake Pamela's face turned sinister.
"Take her upstairs!" she ordered Kathy.
"Okay."
"What about me?" Barbara asked Pamela.
"You don't need to. Sit down."
Sitting in such an aristocratic house, Barbara felt very uneasy, but she did it anyway.
Neil entered the living room.
"Oh? Pamela is home?" Neil pretended to know nothing and greeted Pamela warmly.
Fake Pamela didn't know that Neil was already aware of the whole story and had found Chloe.
If Pamela realized that Neil already knew, Neil wouldn't be as safe as he was now.
"Yes, Neil, are you here to see my dad?" Pamela said.
"Yes, your dad couldn't say anything. We've been friends for decades, just came to see him."
"Okay."
"And who is this?" Neil noticed Barbara next to Pamela.
"This is a distant relative of ours," Pamela said. "She'll be staying with us for a while."
"That's good." But Neil still felt something was off.
Because Pamela was there, Neil didn't say much to Bradley this time, and Bradley didn't hand Neil a note as he usually did.
However, Neil had already shown Bradley Chloe's photo last time.
