Chapter 598 Everything Is Fake
After getting on the bus, Zoey kept looking out the window and started thinking about Andrew again. She was already considering quitting this job, and it was only the first day.

Donovan, shirtless, went to the bathroom.
Chloe's bedroom had its own bathroom.

Chloe took out the blood pack, spilled it underneath her, and then sat on the bed, clutching her stomach as if in extreme pain.

"I told you, but you didn't believe me!" Chloe said coldly.
The blanket and sheets beneath her were stained with blood, a shocking sight.
Donovan was terrified at the sight.
Donovan took Chloe's clothes from the hanger, wrapped her in them, and carried her downstairs.
After placing Chloe in the back seat, he got into the driver's seat and realized that sweat had already formed on his forehead.
Donovan pounded the steering wheel hard, feeling more regret than ever before.
"Go to Jane's hospital. I'll call her," Chloe said weakly from the back seat.
"Okay," Donovan replied hoarsely.
After calling Jane, Chloe called Zoey.
"Zoey, are you home yet? If not, could you come back? I have an emergency and need to go out. If possible, could you stay at my place tonight?" Chloe asked Zoey.
Zoey could tell Chloe's voice was weak and asked, "What's wrong? I'll come back right now."
"Nothing. Thanks for your concern, Zoey," Chloe said before hanging up.
Then, she closed her eyes slightly, thinking: This time, Donovan must learn his lesson. Donovan always does whatever he wants, marrying whoever he wants, doing whatever he wants, and Chloe has no say at all.
When they arrived at Jane's hospital, Donovan carried Chloe out of the car and took her to Jane's office.
At first, Jane was also shocked to see Chloe in this state and immediately had Donovan take Chloe to the examination room.
Donovan waited outside.
Chloe's expression finally relaxed completely.
She told Jane, "Don't worry. I'm faking it. I used a blood pack."
