Chloe came back upstairs an hour later, and Donovan was already lying on the bed reading a book.
She sat in front of the computer and looked at the content Donovan had translated. She couldn't understand it, but she felt it was very detailed.

Chloe was in a good mood the next day, working diligently all morning. At 11 o'clock, she received a call from an unfamiliar number.
"Chloe?" The voice on the other end was competent and pleasant.
"Yeah, who is this...?" It didn't sound like an advertising call.
"I'm Ann, a partner at South Central accounting firm. You are the assistant Brayden recommended for me. I happened to pass by New East Group and wanted to have a chat with you. Do you have time?" Ann's tone was very gentle and sincere.

Chloe nodded solemnly. "I'm sorry, Ann."

Chloe felt relieved seeing Ann so calm. The two of them had a meal together and discussed many non-work related topics.
