Chapter 180 Two Identical Belts
Chloe ignored Barbara and quickly picked two belts with Sofia, one black and one brown, both feeling good, although not from a top brand, but of decent quality.
Hope Donovan will like them.
The total price is $1790, and Barbara issued the invoice.
As Chloe was about to leave after paying, she saw another woman approaching.
Chloe thought to herself, ‘What a small world.’
Paisley, dressed elegantly and generously, walked up to Chloe.
She was also carrying a bag.
Having followed Donovan for so long, Chloe had some knowledge of brands and recognized this one as Patek Philippe.
"Miss Chloe, what did you buy?" Paisley asked in a tone of curiosity.
"Belts for Donovan."
"What brand?" Paisley glanced at the store name, "I've never heard of it. Trying to capture Donovan's heart with such a cheap brand? It might not work."
Chloe completely ignored Paisley and walked away with Sofia.
"Why do I always run into them?" Chloe said.
"What should we do if Paisley stirs up trouble in front of Mr. Blake again? Have you thought of a strategy?"
"I'll play it by ear this time. I don't want to think about it." Chloe was already fed up.
She had thought it over, ‘what's hers can't be taken away, and what's not hers won't be hers sooner or later.’
Paisley is sure to cause trouble on Donovan's birthday.
Chloe had to find a way to deal with Paisley.
After Chloe left, Barbara glanced at Paisley a few more times.
This woman seemed to be the famous star Paisley, and it seemed like she had a rivalry with Chloe, probably as love rivals.
Barbara thought about trying to flatter the big star. Becoming her assistant would earn more than being a salesperson.
"Miss, would you like to choose a belt?" Barbara prepared to seize the opportunity and flatter Paisley excessively.
Paisley obviously looked down on the things in the store.
"I know someone like Ms. Torres wouldn't look at belts of our level, but you can buy them to give to your driver at home or security guards. It's an emotional investment." Barbara subtly suggested to Paisley, "The young lady just picked this brown one and this black one."
Paisley was originally indifferent, but she suddenly had an idea upon hearing this.
Donovan's birthday was approaching, no need to ask. Chloe must have picked them for Donovan, so why not...
"I'll take two identical ones. Wrap them up for me."
"Of course, Ms. Torres." Barbara was extremely deferential, even stooping down to flick the dust off Paisley's skirt, "There was a bit of dust on Ms. Torres's skirt, which doesn't match Ms. Torres's noble status. Let me dust it off for you. Here's my business card."
Barbara respectfully handed the belts and business card to Paisley.

Barbara thought to herself, ‘I guess Paisley's things are also bought for Donovan, the exact same things. I wonder how Chloe will handle it in the end.’
