Chapter 602 Not a Good Person
On Friday, Donovan called Cynthia and said that if she was free, she should come over on Saturday.
"Is it about Chloe again? Do you need my help?" Cynthia asked, pretending to be concerned.
"No, just come over," Donovan replied.
Early the next morning, Cynthia arrived. As she walked into the Hillside Villa, she saw that Chloe was also there.
Cynthia was taken aback.
Zoey also saw Cynthia. Upon seeing her, Zoey frowned slightly, then went back to her room.
Donovan and Chloe were sitting on the couch, and Cynthia sat across from them.

Cynthia was furious inside. She hated both Chloe and Donovan. They would come to her when they needed her and kick her away when they didn't, and now they were making her feel humiliated in front of Chloe.

"Alright, you two have made up, so my goal is achieved. Chloe, stop causing trouble. Donovan is so good to you," Cynthia said, even holding Chloe's hand for a moment.
"We never slept together, never kissed, no physical contact at all, right?" Donovan leaned back and said to Cynthia.
Donovan's words were meant for both Chloe and Cynthia. In case Cynthia later claimed to be pregnant and tried to blackmail Donovan, it would be unnecessary to explain if Chloe already knew the truth. So, Donovan was making things clear in advance.
"Right," Cynthia said. "It was all to make Chloe jealous."
Cynthia tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
She felt extremely awkward at that moment.
After that, Cynthia left.
Donovan had the driver take her back to Pearl Peak City.
After getting in the car, Cynthia bit her lower lip tightly and thought: Chloe, Donovan, just you wait.
After Cynthia left, Zoey pulled Chloe into her room.
"Chloe, you need to be careful with that woman," Zoey said to Chloe.
Chloe thought: This is the first time Zoey has met Cynthia, how can she make such a conclusion?
"What do you mean?" Chloe asked, surprised.
"Cynthia's boyfriend is also a volunteer teacher. Once, when I went to visit Andrew, I saw Cynthia's boyfriend being affectionate with another woman. Cynthia seemed completely unfazed, just standing there with a look of satisfaction on her face. It was a strange expression, not what you'd expect from someone who had been betrayed," Zoey recalled vividly.
"How do you know about Cynthia and her boyfriend's relationship?" Chloe asked.

Since Chloe came back, Donovan had been very careful with her. He didn't touch her at night, and Chloe slept well. Donovan suggested that Chloe get a driver's license, saying it would be convenient for her to drive to work in the future.
Chloe enrolled in a driving school close to home, and life was quite pleasant.
One day, Chloe was sitting on the couch, mimicking a driver. She held the steering wheel, pressed the handbrake, and instinctively reached for the gear shift.
Accidentally, she touched something soft. Chloe turned her head to look.
She saw Donovan's eyes watching her with amusement.
