Not many focused on academics these days. And Chloe, a woman who returned to study after having a child, was inspiring with her diligence. Most people felt ashamed and moved to tears after seeing her post!

Donovan, in his office, coldly watched the comments roll in. Clearly, Chloe's post impressed many people! He didn't know if she had seen the news about him and Janet. If she knew but stayed indifferent, it proved she didn't care about him and only cared about her studies. Even if she knew about the scandal, she probably wouldn't care.
A "female scholar" staying up all night to write a paper wouldn't have time for entertainment news or sordid affairs. She was entirely focused on her studies, unaffected by Donovan's scandal.
