"My brother is getting engaged today, and it's nearby."
Ann sipped her coffee and asked, "Brayden went to your brother's engagement, right?"
Chloe nodded.
"So what about him and Donovan..." Ann was quite nosy.
"Nothing happened between them. After all, an engagement is a big deal."
"Is your brother marrying Karen? I heard about it when I was working at South Central accounting firm," Ann asked again.
"Yes."
"Karen originally knew Dylan. She liked Brayden at first, but after what happened between Brayden and Ellie, she stepped all over him. Honestly, you hurt Brayden deeply.
