Chapter 104 Foolishness
The car rushed toward Grace, luckily with some distance from her. Grace quickly stepped back, just in time for two steps, and the car directly drove up the steps.
Fortunately, the sports car had a low chassis and couldn't get up the steps, so it got stuck there.
This million-dollar sports car was considered scrapped.
It was obvious that someone was targeting Grace, but she didn't feel she had such a big grudge with anyone.
Soon, the car door opened, and Madison got out of the car.
She was full of anger. "Grace! Why don't you go to hell?"
"Madison?" Grace also didn't expect to see Madison here.
The last time she saw Madison was when Madison was being bullied. Grace hadn't seen her for a few days, and she had truly changed a lot, looking haggard, thinner, and her eyes no longer had that foolish look.
Grace replied calmly, "You're not the first one seeking revenge."
Last time, she had helped Madison, asking her not to trust Zach, and even advised Madison to go to the police.
Obviously, Madison didn't listen to her.
Madison yelled, "Grace, you set me up like this. I will kill you!"
"Madison, think about it. Setting you up brings me no benefit," Grace sneered.
Instead, because of saving Madison, Grace found herself in trouble and almost couldn't complete the order.
"What agreement did you reach with Daniel Gunter? If you're not doing well, don't try to frame me. I won't let you off!" Madison's eyes were red, and now she saw Grace as her biggest enemy.
Grace remained calm. "You deserve what you've become with your intelligence. You can check what's been happening in my company lately. Zach and Taylor have betrayed you, and you are not aware of it."
"You're talking nonsense!" Madison didn't believe it. "They are my parents. How could they harm me? It must be you! You envy and resent me every day. I'm prettier and more talented than you."
"If you insist on deluding yourself, I can't help you. I have told, but you don't believe me. You can check the finances of Lewis Group, receiving a large sum of money when you got into trouble." Grace was straightforward, but if Madison didn't want to believe it, there was nothing she could do. You can't wake someone who's pretending to be asleep.
"And Zach, if he could use you once, he won't stop there. You need to wise up. Being sold out and still counting money for others," Grace continued to persuade her.
Grace didn't want to waste her time on Madison; whatever she said was futile.
She didn't expect Taylor to treat Madison the same way.
"Don't make excuses for yourself. It's you. Even Yaeli Lynn said you harmed me!" Madison shouted again.
Grace uttered, "I don't know Yaeli."
"She works in your store. How could you not know? Grace, I will make you pay for all the pain I've suffered!" Madison roared.
Grace raised her eyebrows. She really didn't know this Yaeli Lynn. Is she an employee in her store?
Ignoring Madison, Grace walked away and called Lily. "Lily, check if there's a person named Yaeli Lynn in the store."
Madison glared in the direction Grace left, clenching her fists. This matter wasn't over!
Madison left angrily and went to the room Zach had ordered for her.
The room was large, beautifully decorated in a style Madison liked.
Shortly after, Daniel walked in from outside. "Who made our little princess angry?"
Seeing Daniel, Madison hadn't forgotten what happened last time. Her body trembled, pointing at Daniel. "You rapist!"
Daniel was the least saddened by her accusations; he felt even more comfortable.
He was already a pervert; why would he care about such things?
"Madison, I'm your grandfather. How can you speak to me like that?" Daniel laughed.
Daniel walked in, and as Madison stepped back, Daniel moved forward until they reached the wall, leaving Madison with no room to retreat.
Daniel took Madison's hand, frightening her.
Lowering his head, he sniffed gently.
"Madison, you look so beautiful." Daniel, obsessed and perverted, said, even trying to kiss Madison.
Remembering the scenes from that night, Madison pushed him away. "Get lost! Weren't you going to apologize to me? Apologize now!"
"Apologize?" Daniel paused. "Why should I apologize?"
Didn't Zach convince Madison to come here voluntarily to spend time with him?
"My dad said you invited me here to apologize." Tears in her eyes, Madison didn't realize her appearance only fueled Daniel's perverse desires.
Zach had deceived Madison, but he had protected her well to be so naive and easily deceived.
If Madison had experienced the harsh realities of society, she wouldn't believe in her father anymore.
"I do want to apologize, look, this is what I prepared for you," said Daniel.
Daniel actually had prepared gifts for Madison, leading her into the room. Rows of designer bags, jewelry, instantly dazzled Madison.
"Wow, these are all the latest designs!" Madison exclaimed.
One of these designer bags cost several hundred thousand dollars, and they were unique. Madison had wanted one since the pre-sale, but she couldn't afford it. However, they were right in front of her eyes at this moment.
Daniel said, "What else do you want? Tell me, and I'll give it to you. I heard the Lewis family is short on money recently, making you suffer. I'll transfer a million dollars to you."
"A million dollars?" Madison didn't expect Daniel to be so generous. Even though the Lewis family wasn't poor, she had never had this much pocket money. Zach usually only gave her a few hundred or thousand dollars.
"If it's not enough, I'll add more. How about two million dollars?" Daniel continued to tempt her.
Delighted, Madison nodded like crazy. Materialistic vanity had clouded her judgment, and she had long forgotten what Daniel had done to her in the past.
"Can I have more?" Madison asked. With money, she could do many things, even start her own company.
"Of course, how much do you want? I'll give it to you." Daniel's hands were becoming less restrained, moving from holding Madison's hand to her waist.
When Madison realized what was happening, Daniel had already embraced her.
"I want five million dollars! What are you doing!" Madison shouted.
Though it was daytime, Daniel couldn't contain himself.
"I'll give it to you, all of it, even my life." Daniel responded.
Madison never expected Daniel to lay hands on her like this. He had promised to apologize!
Madison resisted, but Daniel directly took a handkerchief and covered her nose. Soon, Madison felt dizzy, and she passed out.
