Chapter 137 Who Helped Her

"Grace wasn't supposed to be this fast. She just saved Angela, and now it seems like she can't slow down. I think there might be something wrong with her car." Victor, being somewhat of a professional, immediately noticed something was off. However, just as he finished speaking, he saw Xavier striding towards the back.
"Xavier, where are you going?" Victor called out from behind.

But Xavier didn't even turn his head. Victor, curious about what would happen next, didn't follow him.
In the VIP section above, Stephanie seemed to have heard Xavier's name. She glanced down but saw nothing.
She was sure she had heard it. Could Xavier be here?

A smile curled at the corner of Stephanie's mouth, her face lighting up with joy. Xavier must have heard she was here and came specifically for her.
Stephanie instructed the person next to her, "Go check if Xavier is here."

Ryan went straight to the garage, fuming because of Grace. It took Kelly a long time to comfort him and restore his confidence, making Ryan feel a bit better.
Kelly took the opportunity to badmouth Grace, hoping to make Ryan dislike her. But Ryan, looking impatient, said, "Enough, stop talking about Grace. You're not much better yourself."

Kelly bit her lip. What did Ryan mean by that? Was he getting tired of her?
Considering Ryan's recent behavior and the rumors about him being surrounded by many women lately, Kelly felt an increasing sense of crisis. She didn't have much time left.
After pacifying Ryan, he wrapped his arm around Kelly's waist and left, not even bothering to lock the car door.

Xavier arrived at the parking lot just as they were leaving.
His eyes narrowed as he walked over and opened the door of the red race car, getting in.
The red race car shot out like a bullet, startling the audience. How could someone be so fast right out of the gate? Who was driving that car?

All eyes were on the racetrack. Angela's car had slowed down after being blocked by Grace. When Angela realized her brakes weren't working, she knew she was in trouble.
Grace had accelerated past her and now couldn't slow down. Although she was nearing the finish line, the speed made it impossible for her to stop there. She had to continue for another lap.
Anyone else might have been scared stiff, but Grace remained calm inside the car.
As long as she maintained her balance, the speed would eventually decrease.

Regrettably, the track was riddled with traps. Just ahead lay a sharp turn. Without adept driving skills, she risked a potential crash. This particular spot demanded a crucial slowdown to navigate the turn. Grace's high speed posed a challenge, heightening the risk of veering off the track.

The audience collectively gasped, holding their breath. But Grace executed a beautiful drift, smoothly navigating the treacherous turn.
However, immediately after the turn was a steep slope, blocking Grace's view. She couldn't see if there were any cars below.
Grace couldn't see, but the spectators could. There was a car moving very slowly in front of her. At her current speed, she was bound to crash into it!

Just as everyone was holding their breath, a spectator noticed the red sports car, claiming, "Look, everyone, look!"

The red race car was driving incredibly boldly, with the pedal to the metal, reaching its maximum speed. The road itself was uneven, and if you looked closely, you'd see that the car wasn't even using its wheels to grip the ground. Instead, it was utilizing various drifting techniques to maintain balance, which was extremely difficult but ensured both speed and safety.

Xavier's speed was unimaginable. As he skillfully overtook cars on the downhill stretch, his car appeared to soar over the hood of another vehicle. While the two cars in front maintained a considerable distance, at such breakneck speed and distance, Xavier's car was on a collision course with the vehicle ahead upon landing.

All eyes were fixed on the unfolding scene, with some spectators holding their breath in anticipation. A collision at this velocity would result in utter catastrophe.
The red sports car landed on its left wheels, lifting the entire car, and the right wheels skimmed over the hood of the car in front.
Maintaining its incredible speed, the car tilted and overtook the car ahead from the side.

The driver of the car in front hadn't even realized what had happened before the red sports car was out of sight.
The overtaking maneuver was on par with professional race car drivers, perhaps even better.
Spectators were in awe, wondering who could possibly have such skills.
The red sports car quickly caught up with the gray race car.
Xavier's eyes were fixed on the gray car ahead. His gaze sharpened as he accelerated even more.
He reached the top of the slope almost simultaneously with Grace. Grace saw the slow-moving car in front of her and felt a jolt of panic. How could that car be so slow? A collision seemed inevitable.

But in the next second, the red sports car darted in front of Grace, ramming the slow car out of the way.
The car was pushed aside, clearing a path for Grace.
The audience was wide-eyed in disbelief.
Grace's heart skipped a beat. Was that Ryan's car? Was Ryan driving?
But why would Ryan help her?

The red sports car continued ahead but had slowed down, almost matching Grace's speed.
With the red car clearing obstacles ahead, Grace could see what was coming.
For some reason, Grace suddenly felt calm.

The car in front slowed down, rubbing against Grace's car. With the friction acting as a speed bump, Grace's car finally began to decelerate.
After another lap, Grace's speed decreased enough that, even with failed brakes, she could slow down through inertia and eventually stop at the finish line.

Once Xavier confirmed Grace was safe, he ended his run early and parked the car.
No one but Xavier knew who was in the red sports car. After safely stopping at the finish line, Grace immediately went to the parking lot and saw the red sports car.

The hood was still warm, indicating it had just been parked.
This was Ryan's car, which had been parked in this spot earlier.

But Grace felt that the person driving just now wasn't Ryan.
It was likely someone who saw Grace's car out of control and came to help. But who could it be?
Grace looked around but saw no one.
