Chapter 325 Watching Xavier Madly Kiss Someone Else

The shareholder was like, "Nah, this is the wine Stephanie poured for Mr. Montgomery herself. We wouldn't dare touch it."

The crowd, always hungry for some drama, shot glances at Stephanie and then said, "Mr. Montgomery, if you don't drink this, Stephanie's gonna be super embarrassed."

But Xavier just held the wine, not looking like he was gonna drink it anytime soon.

Stephanie's heart started sinking. Xavier's face was a total poker face, impossible to read. The more he stayed like that, the more torturous it got. She had no clue if she had blown her cover.

Then, out of nowhere, Xavier tilted his head back and chugged the wine in one go.

Stephanie was over the moon. Xavier drank it! The wine she had spiked with an aphrodisiac, he actually drank it!

The hardest part was done. Now, she just had to wait for the drug to kick in. Then she could either take Xavier back or quietly follow him. She was the only chick here, so even if Xavier figured something was up later, it’d be too late. Stephanie was practically buzzing with excitement!

As time ticked by, Stephanie waited for the drug to do its thing.

Xavier started heating up, tugging at his tie.

Stephanie noticed his neck turning red. It was almost time. Soon, Xavier would feel hot and need a woman, and she’d be right there, ready to help.

After a bit, Xavier's phone buzzed with a message. He glanced at it. It was from Mason, saying Grace had landed.

Xavier stood up. "Sorry, folks, gotta bounce."

Stephanie jumped up too. Did Xavier sense something? Was he already feeling off and needed to leave fast?

She quickly said, "He's drunk, and I'm kinda worried. I'll go check on him."

With that, Stephanie chased after him.

But she was just a second too late; Xavier had already gotten into the elevator. His car was waiting at the entrance. Xavier got in, feeling the heat like a fire inside him. He knew Stephanie had spiked the wine, so he drank it on purpose.

Xavier gave the address of the property next to the company. Grace had ordered takeout there last time, and she might only know about this place. Since Grace wanted to surprise him, she’d likely come here.

Thinking of Grace, Xavier's throat tightened. The desire inside him was getting intense. He could barely hold it in, but knowing Grace would need some time to get there, he didn't rush the driver.

This aphrodisiac had no side effects, though he didn't need it at all. But since Grace arrived so coincidentally and had mentioned wanting to thank him earlier, it was time for her to repay him. As for Stephanie, he deliberately drank the spiked wine, planning to use it later as an excuse to teach her a lesson.

After getting off the plane, Grace checked the time. It was past ten, not too early. She had booked a hotel close to Xavier's place. If Xavier asked, she’d say she was here for work, not to see him.

Grace planned to hit the hotel first, settle in, and then shoot Xavier a message. He probably had no clue she was in town yet. If he replied, cool, she'd go find him. If not, he might be busy or catching some Z's, and she wouldn't bug him. She'd catch up with him tomorrow.

Grace remembered Xavier had some social event tonight. No idea if he was back yet. Since she was already here, no rush.

Soon enough, she rolled up to the hotel. Grace went to the front desk to check in.

The front desk clerk quickly processed her check-in and handed her the room key. Grace looked at it. "Wait, this isn't right. I only booked a standard room, but this looks like a suite."

The clerk didn't even blink. "Miss, this is the room type you booked."

Grace shrugged it off. "Alright, thanks."

She headed straight to the elevator, daydreaming about Xavier's reaction when he found out she was in Oakworth. Would he be surprised or totally shocked?

Grace never thought she'd be the type to just show up on a whim.

The elevator dinged, and Grace stepped out. But as soon as she did, a strong hand grabbed her wrist, and the next second, she was pulled into a firm, hot embrace.

Grace, who hadn't even had time to react, was freaked out.

Before she could scream, the guy had already bent down and urgently kissed her lips.

Seeing the familiar face up close, Grace's eyes widened. "Xavier..."

"How are you..." Grace couldn't even finish her sentence; Xavier's kiss shut her up.

Grace thought, 'How does Xavier know I'm in Oakworth and at this hotel?'

Xavier, like a beast who had been holding back for too long, devoured his prey. He entwined his tongue with Grace's, his hand on her waist, the veins on the back of his hand popping.

What was up with Xavier? His body felt crazy hot. Was he sick or something? But right now, Grace's mind was too scrambled by him to think straight.

Grace felt Xavier trying to strip her clothes, wanting to merge her into his body.

"Someone's here." Grace remembered they were in a public area!

Xavier's lips moved down to Grace's neck. He said, "No one will be here. This is a DG hotel, and I've booked the entire floor."

Grace's legs were turning to jelly from his kisses. The black box fell to the ground, and she used her remaining strength to protect the small bottle inside.

Grace said, "But there are cameras. Someone will see."

Xavier's other hand entwined with Grace's fingers. "No one will look. they wouldn't dare without my say-so."

Xavier's lips returned to Grace's, unable to suppress his longing after just a few days apart.

Grace was like his switch, his antidote. He kissed her wildly. If anyone showed up, they'd see a tall guy in a suit pushing a woman against the wall, his cold demeanor replaced by endless desire.

They were the perfect height difference. His hand tightly circled her waist, keeping her from falling, Grace's petite body hidden beneath his.

At that moment, the elevator door opened, and Stephanie, who had been chasing after Xavier, covered her mouth, unable to believe what she was seeing.
