Chapter 444 Why Are Annoying Women Always Named Grace?
Angela was busy, and seeing that it was a video call from Ainsley, she didn't want to answer it at all.
However, after hesitating for a moment, she picked it up. "What's up?"
She knew the Turner family had all gone abroad for vacation, except for Omari. No one had invited her; it was as if they had forgotten about her.
Omari had invited her, but she wouldn't go and make a fool of herself. If she spent New Year's with them, no one would be happy.
The Turner family probably knew this, too, so they never invited Angela for holidays, and Angela wouldn't go and make a fool of herself.
"Why did you take so long to answer the phone?" Ainsley sounded very displeased.
"What do you want?"
"Your boyfriend cheated on you. I caught him red-handed, and he still won't admit it!"
"What boyfriend?" Angela didn't react immediately.
When she did, Angela was shocked by Ainsley's words. "What?"
Ainsley pointed the camera at Scott and Grace. "See for yourself. I caught him red-handed."
When Angela saw Grace and Scott, she almost fainted.
How could the world be so small that they would run into each other?
"You've got the wrong person. He's not my boyfriend," Angela denied.
"How could I be wrong? You said it yourself last time."
"I said he's not, so he's not. Could you stop bothering him? My boyfriend is right next to me. Stop making wild guesses!"
Edith, standing nearby, was pleased. Angela's words clearly showed she was flustered and didn't want to admit it. Her boyfriend must have cheated. Angela wasn't as pretty as this woman, but why did this woman's eyes look so much like Grace's?
"Did you hear that? I'm not her boyfriend. You should apologize for your behavior, but considering your age, I won't hold you responsible," Scott said coldly.
But he didn't finish his sentence. The other half was that he wouldn't hold her responsible because she was Angela's mother and Grace's good friend.
Ainsley was furious. She was sure she couldn't be wrong.
"What do you mean by 'considering my age'? You cheated and still won't admit it. Today, I'm going to let everyone see your true colors. Everyone, come and see! This man is shameless, cheating on my daughter!" Ainsley caused a scene, attracting a lot of attention.
Scott's face darkened. How could they be so awful? He and Grace hadn't done anything to provoke them.
Indeed, women were troublesome, whether old or young.
"Ma'am, this is my brother. How could it be cheating? If you have poor eyesight, I'll help you find an eye doctor. If you're causing trouble on purpose, I'll call the police," Grace said, not liking Ainsley either.
Ainsley didn't love her daughter Angela but treated Edith, an adopted daughter, so well.
Grace stated facts to prevent others from misunderstood Scott.
Omari also heard the commotion. He seemed to hear Ainsley and Grace's voices, so he quickly came over and found it was indeed Ainsley.
"Mom, what's going on?" Omari walked over and saw it was indeed Grace.
"Grace?" Omari's eyes lit up instantly. "What are you doing here?"
Seeing Omari's reaction, Ainsley asked, "You know each other?"
"She's my friend. I didn't expect to see you here. What a coincidence." Omari walked over to Grace and then looked at Ainsley. "Mom, what happened? Is there some misunderstanding?"
Omari's gaze at Grace made Edith uncomfortable and filled with a sense of crisis.
When did Omari meet such a beautiful woman? Why didn't she know?
And what did Omari call her, Grace?
Why were all the annoying women named Grace?
"I saw him at Angela's place last time. He's Angela's boyfriend. Today, he's out with this woman. No matter what, Angela is part of the Turner family. What he's doing is betraying the Turner family!" Ainsley's tone was still bad.
When she mentioned Angela's boyfriend, Omari took another look at Scott. He had indeed seen him before, at the vacation resort.
But when did he become Angela's boyfriend? When did Angela get a boyfriend?
"Mom, you misunderstood. They are siblings," Omari explained.
Hearing Omari say this, Ainsley was surprised. "They are really siblings?"
"Yes."
The other onlookers dispersed, cursing Ainsley for not getting her facts straight and speaking so harshly.
"Is it clear now?" Scott was really speechless.
"Mom, apologize to him," Omari said, pulling Ainsley.
"I won't apologize." Ainsley was still proud. How could she apologize?
The Turner family was well-known in Skigeth. Now that Omari had supported them, the Turner family had risen to a higher level, almost second only to the Montgomery family.
The Montgomery family seemed to be in a bad situation now, and soon, the Turner family might become the number one family in Skigeth.
"Fine, I don't care for your apology anyway. Grace, let's go," Scott said, not wanting to get entangled with these people any longer.
"Grace, wait." Omari wanted to catch up.

Just as Xavier wasn't around, he had a lot to say to Grace.

"Omari, let's go back."
Omari was held back and could only watch Grace leave.
Scott had arranged a car to wait at the airport. Grace and Scott got in the car, and Grace propped her chin up, looking at Scott.
Scott said, "What's with that look?"
"Scott, you're Angela's boyfriend? Since when? How come I didn't know?"

Scott briefly explained, and Grace thought Scott and Angela were fated.
"Scott, why don't you like women? Do you have some trauma?" Grace asked.
Scott wouldn't say that women had seduced him since he was a teenager and almost forced by one.
"No."
"If you don't tell me, I'll ask Steven. He must know."
"Don't. It's nothing serious. It's just that women are really annoying. They take advantage of being the weaker sex to do repulsive things, deliberately getting close to you to take advantage of you."
