Chapter 358 Brothers

"Sir!" Grace, quick on her feet, caught the old man just before he hit the ground.

The driver, clearly freaked out, rushed over to help too.

He got the old man into the car, and the guy grabbed Grace's wrist. Even though he was out cold, his grip was like a vice.

Grace told the driver to call an ambulance. Worried, she decided to go to the hospital with them.

It seemed like the old man had mistaken her for someone else.

Who did she look like that people kept confusing her with someone else?

She remembered Steven and Scott from the Coleman family also thought she looked like someone they knew.

When they got to the hospital, the old man was taken to the ER. The driver made a call, probably to the old man's family.

After he hung up, he sighed.

"What's up? Can't his family make it?" Grace asked.

The driver replied, "His son's on a business trip, and his grandsons are abroad. The second one's at a forum and hasn't come back yet. He's on his way, but it'll take some time."

"Did this gentleman mistake me for someone else? Who does he think I look like?" Grace asked again.

The driver shook his head. "I don't know, miss. If you're in a hurry, you can leave."

"I'm good. I'll wait here until he wakes up. It'll make me feel better."

Grace stopped asking questions. After a while, the emergency treatment was done.

Grace asked about the old man's condition. Turned out he fainted because he got too worked up and couldn't breathe. He had a bad heart and a bunch of other issues that needed meds to manage.

The old man would probably need to stay in the hospital for a few days.

Grace went to the ward and looked at the old man.

She had no clue who he was looking for, but she figured that person would show up soon.

The old man's hand twitched, and he mumbled something. Grace couldn't make out what he was saying.

Seeing his fingers tremble, Grace reached out and held his cold hand.

Not long after, the ward door opened, and a well-dressed man rushed in. "Grandpa!"

Grace quickly stood up, but the old man still held her hand. She looked at the man apologetically. "Hello, you must be his grandson, right?"

The man seemed a bit surprised by Grace's words.

After a couple of seconds, he responded, "Yeah."

"What happened?" the man asked the driver, who explained the situation.

The driver said, "Mr. Coleman, your grandfather got agitated when he saw this young lady."

A complicated look flashed in the man's eyes. "Hi, I'm Thomas Coleman."

"You're a Coleman too?" Grace was surprised.

"Why? Do you know other Colemans?" Thomas frowned.

Grace said, "I know two guys named Steven and Scott. They seem about your age."

Thomas looked surprised. "Steven's my older brother, and Scott's my twin."

"No way!" Grace was shocked. Small world!

She had thought Steven and Scott were the twins, but turned out there was another one.

No wonder Steven and Scott had been looking for someone. She thought it was crazy to look like so many people.

Grace said, "I'm Grace Lewis. I've met Steven and Scott a couple of times. They mentioned they were looking for someone."

Thomas nodded, "Yeah, our aunt, Elizabeth Coleman. Grandpa's been thinking about her for years."

"Maybe your grandpa mistook me for Elizabeth. I don't know anyone named Elizabeth, but do I really look that much like her? Do you have a photo?"

Thomas shook his head. "No."

Without a photo, his grandpa's longing for Elizabeth had only grown stronger.

"Do I really look that much like your aunt?" Grace asked again.

Thomas said, "Just your eyes. They look very similar. My memory's a bit fuzzy, but my aunt was really beautiful, and her eyes were especially lively."

Grace nodded. "Since you're here, I'll head out. If your grandpa realizes he mistook me for your aunt, he'll be disappointed and even more upset."

Thomas nodded. "Thank you, Ms. Lewis."

"You're welcome. It's fate that we met. I'm friends with Steven and Scott. If you ever bring your grandpa to the U.S., you're welcome to visit Skigeth."

Running into familiar faces in a far-off place really felt like destiny.

Thomas asked, "Ms. Lewis, what brings you to the U.K.? Vacation?"

"I'm here for work." Grace briefly explained her presence, making sure it didn't seem like she had any hidden motives.

After a short chat, Grace said she would leave. Thomas offered, "I'll walk you out."

Grace responded, "No need. You should stay and take care of your grandpa. He needs you."

As Grace left, Thomas's grandpa still held her hand tightly.

Since she wasn't family, she had to gently pry his fingers off one by one.

Grace quickly left, and Thomas watched her until she disappeared. Then he picked up his phone and called Steven. "Steven."

Steven responded, "I know Grandpa fainted. Scott and I are on our way back."

Thomas said, "I'm here with Grandpa. He'll be fine. You don't need to rush back. Focus on your work. But his condition is worsening. We need to find Aunt Elizabeth soon. I'm afraid..."

Although he didn't finish his sentence, Steven and Scott understood. He feared that if they didn't find Elizabeth soon, their grandpa, Chase Coleman, wouldn't hold on, and it would be Chase's lifelong regret.

Thomas added, "By the way, do you know Grace?"

"Grace?" Steven was surprised to hear the name. Why did Thomas bring it up?

Scott, who was next to Steven, was also surprised. "Thomas, what's going on with Grace?"

"Grandpa fainted when he saw Grace. Her eyes resemble Aunt Elizabeth's, and Grandpa got emotional. She knows both of you," Thomas said.

Steven responded, "I've looked into Grace. She has no connection to Aunt Elizabeth."

A hint of disappointment flashed in Thomas's eyes. When would they finally find a trace of Elizabeth?

Over the years, Chase had often mentioned her. Now, Chase's condition was deteriorating to such an extent that many doctors were at a loss.

They hoped to find Elizabeth soon, at least to let Chase see her one last time. Otherwise, even if he left this world, Chase wouldn't be at peace.

"Is there still no clue about Aunt Elizabeth?" Thomas asked.

Steven and Scott remained silent. They didn't know what had happened to Elizabeth back then, but her traces had been completely erased, as if she had vanished from the world.
