Chapter 500 I Am Her Boyfriend

"How would I know where she is? Besides, Angela is my daughter. I can do whatever I want with her. I don't agree with you being with her. She's about to get married. Don't contact her again!" Ainsley didn't like Scott at all.

She looked down on men without money.

"Is she getting married of her own free will? If you keep this up, I can call the police," Grace said coldly.

Ainsley replied, "Go ahead and call the police. Let's see if they support me as her mother or you."

"Who do you think you are, causing trouble here?"

"I'm Angela's boyfriend!"

Grace was taken aback. If the timing were right, she would have given Scott a thumbs up and said something bold.

"Security, get them out of here!" Ainsley didn't take it seriously and called for security.

At that moment, Angela's voice came from upstairs, "Let me out, let me out now!"

"Why are you keeping me locked up? Let me out!"

"It's Angela!" Grace heard the voice.

Grace and Scott rushed upstairs, and Ainsley tried to stop them but couldn't.

Others tried to intervene, but Scott held them off with one hand.

"Grace, you go up first," Scott said, taking on several people by himself.

Grace saw Scott holding them off and went straight upstairs.

Upstairs, Grace knocked on Angela's door, "Angela, it's me."

"Grace!" Angela was delighted. She knew Grace would come to save her.

Those people couldn't even stop Scott, which made Ainsley furious. She chased upstairs.

Scott took the opportunity to go up and demanded Ainsley open the door.

Ainsley refused, "My daughter Angela is just in her room. You are trespassing. What do you want?"

Grace said, "She's not there willingly. You locked her up. If you don't open the door, I'll start a live stream and let the whole world see what's happening. Let's see if the Turner family can handle the public pressure. The Montgomery family is a good example."

Mentioning the Montgomery family made Ainsley's face change.

The Montgomery family was destroyed in such a manner.

But she was different from the Montgomery family. She hadn't done anything wrong.

"Are you threatening me?"

"I'm just telling you that this constitutes illegal detention."

"Mom!" Omari appeared, striding upstairs, his eyes on Grace. "What's going on? How could you lock Angela up?"

Seeing Omari, Ainsley felt she had support, "Omari, you're back just in time. Look at these people. They broke into our house and even tried to attack me."

"I locked Angela up for her good. She's been wild since she was a child, always out and about. Now she's become a lunatic, completely disgracing the Turner family. I have to teach her a lesson!"

Ainsley's eyes were filled with disgust. Mentioning Angela made her feel ashamed, as if Angela had disgraced the family.

"Mom, you can't lock Angela up. Give me the key." Omari, now the head of the Turner family and Ainsley's favorite and proudest son, demanded.

Ainsley hesitated, but Omari called out again, "Mom!"

Ainsley finally took out the key, blaming, "It's all your fault for spoiling her since she was a child. You've spoiled her rotten."

Omari took the key and released Angela.

Seeing Grace, Angela rushed to hug her, "Grace!"

Grace was indeed the best. Grace remembered her.

Grace patted Angela's back, "It's okay, it's okay. We're all here."

Angela's eyes were red and swollen, indicating she had been crying.

But she wasn't crying because she was locked up. She was crying because, as a family, Ainsley could be so heartless, showing no familial love.

"Let's go, Angela," Grace said, determined to take Angela away.

Ainsley wanted to say something but was stopped by Omari.

"Look at her. Does she even see me as her mother? Every time she comes back, she gives me attitude. This time, she threw a tantrum first. She's an ungrateful daughter!"

Ainsley's curses continued as Grace quickly led Angela away.

After a while, Edith came upstairs, "Mom, Omari."

"Omari, why did you come back suddenly? I'll take care of Mom. Do you want to have dinner with us? I'll ask the kitchen to make something delicious for you."

Edith's eyes sparkled as she looked at Omari, but Ainsley, still angry, didn't notice.

Omari said, "No, I have work at the company. I won't stay for dinner. Take care of Mom."

"Omari, can't you have dinner with us? It's been a long time since we had a family meal together." Edith looked at Omari longingly, her affection evident.

Omari hesitated, "Alright, Mom, I'll have dinner with you."

Edith was happy to have dinner with Omari.

This family never had a place for Angela. They never thought of her during family meals.

Ainsley didn't realize how cruel her words were.

Grace knew Angela wanted to be part of the family, but Ainsley always saw her good intentions as wrong.

Grace and Angela got into the car, and Angela said, "Grace, thank you."

Grace shook her head, "It was Scott who couldn't reach you and came to find you with me. He was more worried than I was."

Angela looked at Scott, who was driving, in surprise. She couldn't believe Scott was the first to notice she was missing.

Scott focused on driving, his face showing a hint of awkwardness, "I wasn't worried."

"Scott has a sharp tongue but a soft heart. Let's not mind him," Grace said, then continued, "What are you going to do next? It seems your mother is determined to marry you off to that person."

Angela said, "Yes, I don't know who influenced her, probably Edith. I don't know what to do next. I'll continue with the blind dates and get married before that day."

Angela thought of something, "But my identification is still at the Turner Mansion. She won't give it to me easily. It will be hard to get it."

Grace said, "No problem. We'll find a chance to steal it together!"

"Okay! Grace, I'm so hungry," Angela said, holding her stomach.

"You haven't eaten? They locked you up without giving you food?"

Angela shook her head. Ainsley had locked her up without sending any food, and she had been hungry since yesterday.

"This is too much. Let's go eat!" Grace took Angela to a restaurant, and they ate a lot.

After eating, Angela made a bowing gesture, "Thank you for helping me. I won't forget it. Cheers!"
