Chapter 340 A Hard Slap on Stephanie's Face

Grace had anticipated that Amara would resort to some petty tricks out of anger and embarrassment. When Amara pushed her, Grace deliberately jabbed her cue stick backward, not to hit the ball.

But her forceful jab landed directly on Amara's stomach.

Amara quickly clutched her stomach, feeling as if Grace had knocked the wind out of her.

Grace feigned an apologetic tone, "Sorry, I didn't see you there. But what are you doing so close to me? Trying to push me?"

Realizing her little scheme had been exposed, Amara panicked, "Don't slander me! Why would I push you?"

"Who knows?" Grace shrugged, a sly smile playing on her lips. "Just keep your distance from now on. Wouldn't want any more accidents."

Amara hadn't expected Grace to be so tricky to deal with. She found another excuse, "You have just took your shot, so it's my turn now."

Grace chuckled, "If you're going to make excuses, at least make up with a good one. I didn't take a shot; I just swung the cue. Is that not allowed?"

With Amara's wide-eyed stare, Grace asked, "Not satisfied? Why don't we ask them? If anyone thinks you can't handle losing and insists that my swing counts as a shot, then I'll let you have it."

With Grace's words, Amara didn't dare claim that Grace had taken a shot.

Grace's swing actually wasn't a shot; it was just a deliberate jab at Amara.

Someone nearby said, "Amara, I want to support you and hope you win, but Grace didn't take a shot."

"Yeah, Grace didn't even start. Amara, it seems your skills aren't that great after all."

"Can I take my shot now?" Grace looked at Amara.

Amara bit her lip, seething with anger but having nowhere to vent it.

What should she do? She didn't want to strip in front of so many people.

Maybe she could pretend to faint or claim she had a stomachache and needed to go to the hospital?

Though it wouldn't be very honorable, at least it would preserve her dignity, which was better than being humiliated by stripping.

Just as Amara was contemplating her escape, she heard a flurry of gasps and cheers.

It turned out that while she was thinking of a way out, Grace had made a hole-in-one.

She lost without even getting a chance to play.

Grace put down her cue and looked at her, "Are you going to strip yourself, or do you need my help?"

"No!" Amara shook her head, unable to believe she had lost. What about her reputation? Wouldn't it be a joke if word got out?

And how could she strip in front of so many people? She quickly covered her chest, "Grace, don't be so aggressive!"

"How am I being aggressive? You set the rules, you made the bet, and you took the first shot. Who's being aggressive here?" Grace retorted

With Grace's words, everyone felt that Amara was being unreasonable; Grace was entirely passive.

"You targeted me from the start, but you haven't expected to lose," Grace said.

Amara looked at everyone, then at Grace, "Grace, I'm sorry, okay? I did target you, but I have meant no harm. Can we forget about the stripping? I'm sorry, it's all my fault."

However, Grace had no intention of forgiving her, "If I had lost, would you have let me off the hook? No, you would have felt accomplished and humiliated me even more to please Stephanie. If you can't handle losing, you shouldn't have come at first."

Amara shook her head, "It's my mistake. Grace, I haven't meant it. Stephanie has told me to humiliate you and teach you a lesson. I only have this one dress; I can't strip."

"You..." Stephanie hadn't expected Amara to throw her under the bus.

Amara had now fallen out with Stephanie, harboring a belly full of grievances. She pointed directly at Stephanie, "It's all of her!"

She had been helping Stephanie; she had no personal grudge against Grace. It was Stephanie who told her to teach Grace a lesson.

And Stephanie had just set her up with such an ugly guy for a kiss. Wasn't that intentional?

There were so many men, many handsome ones besides Xavier, but Stephanie chose that one. Stephanie betrayed Amara first, so why couldn't she betray Stephanie?

Grace looked at her, "Is that so?"

"Amara!" Stephanie shouted.

Amara nodded, "Actually, she has made me do it! She likes Xavier and thinks you stole her man!"

Stephanie hadn't expected Amara to betray her and slapped Amara hard, "What nonsense are you spouting, Amara? You targeted Grace yourself and now you're blaming me. Do you not want to stay in this circle anymore?"

Amara looked at Stephanie in disbelief. She had been helping Stephanie, and Stephanie hit her.

But Amara didn't dare hit Stephanie back; after all, Stephanie's family was far more powerful than hers.

Amara had no choice but to swallow her grievances. But now, with the prospect of stripping, it was all Stephanie's fault. Why should she bear the consequences?

At this moment, Grace spoke, "Are you still going to tolerate it after she hit you? Let's change the bet. Give Stephanie a hard slap, one that leaves a mark on her face, and you won't have to strip. How about that?"

"Grace!" Stephanie glared at Grace.

They had come to teach Grace a lesson, but now they were the ones being taught a lesson by Grace.

"You!" Before Stephanie could finish her sentence, she was met with a hard slap that left her stunned.

Stephanie looked at Amara in disbelief. Amara had actually listened to Grace and hit her.

In her life, apart from the slap Grace had given her before, no one had dared to hit her.

And Amara's slap was so heavy.

"Amara, I wanna kill you, you bitch!" Stephanie lunged at her, and they started fighting, looking less like noble girls and more like street brawlers.

Grace watched the farce with a smile, effortlessly causing the two to turn on each other.

Both Stephanie and Amara were now in a disgraceful state. Stephanie, a high-society girl, would find it hard to live this down if word got out.

When they finally realized what had happened, they felt they had been poked fun at the scene.

They had come to teach Grace a lesson, but Grace ended up unscathed, earning praise and goodwill, while they slapped each other and ended up in this mess.

Stephanie's rage reached a boiling point. This wasn't over. This was just the beginning. Grace might have won this round, but Stephanie would have her revenge.
