Chapter 311 A Suffocating Scene
The Montgomery Mansion was huge, like, seriously massive. Besides the main house, there were a ton of other rooms scattered around the place.
Even the doghouse was fancier than Samuel's master bedroom.
The Montgomery family? Loaded. Like, crazy rich and powerful.
Everything in that house was worth a fortune. Even a random plant could cost tens of thousands of dollars.
The main house? Total palace vibes. Super grand, dripping with old-money elegance. Definitely a rich family's crib.
Samuel and Julia finally got what Grace meant when she said they should figure things out once they got to The Montgomery Mansion.
The Montgomerys had a whole army of servants, making life there ridiculously comfy. The rooms and decor screamed luxury.
Samuel and Julia? They decided to stick around, no way they were leaving anytime soon.
Amy and Wendy were freaked out. How could the Montgomerys let Samuel and Julia crash there, not even for a night?
But Samuel and Julia? Shameless. Their old neighbors knew all about it.
Amy and Kelly's parents kept bickering non-stop, totally ignoring that it was Kelly's wedding night.
Ryan was giving Kelly a hard time too, even slapped her in their room.
No one got any sleep that night, while Samuel and Julia acted like they owned the place. They bossed the servants around, had them cooking, massaging their legs, and just lounged in the hall without a care. No way to get rid of them.
Samuel and Julia were dead set on staying at the manor. They even called up their relatives, bragging about Kelly marrying into a fancy family and saying the place was more amazing than a palace. They even suggested bringing their son to live there too.
Now, not even a million bucks, or even ten million, could fix the Samuel and Julia problem.
Kelly was at her wit's end; if she could, she'd totally off these two who claimed to be her parents.
But planning a murder? That had to be long-term, making sure no one would suspect her. If something happened to Samuel and Julia now, Kelly would be the prime suspect, so she couldn't kill them. But she couldn't kick them out either; she knew Grace had to have a plan.
She had no clue what Grace had said to Samuel and Julia, but now they only listened to Grace.
Kelly tried calling and texting Grace, but got nothing. So she asked Ryan where Grace's company was and went there to find her.
She knew Grace was pushing her to get Evelyn's ashes.
Kelly said, "Grace, you got my parents to come here; you gotta send them back!"
Grace looked at her, totally unfazed. "Are you telling me what to do, or trying to make a deal?"
Kelly bit her lip. "I don't even know where Patrick hid your mom's ashes; I can't get them."
Grace said, "That's your problem. I've given you plenty of time. When you get them to me, I'll make your parents leave. If you think that's fair, you can go now. If not, you can still go now."
"Grace!" Kelly glared at her.
Grace smirked, "I know my name's got a nice ring to it, no need to yell. Maybe focus on picking a name for your baby instead. I'm swamped today, and tomorrow's packed too, but I might have some free time the day after. I hate being bored; what should I do?"
Grace pretended to ponder. "Maybe I should go have a chat with Patrick. Think he'll see me?"
Kelly bit her lip, realizing this was Grace's final ultimatum.
Kelly had barely stepped out when her phone started blowing up.
Ryan, Wendy, and Amy were all calling her, and just looking at it gave Kelly a headache.
Grace called Lily over. "Show her out."
Kelly left Grace's office and headed back to The Montgomery Mansion, only to walk into a full-blown scene.
Samuel and Julia were on the ground, bawling their eyes out. "Is there no decency or law? Just 'cause we're a bit poor, you look down on us? Would you dare say that in front of everyone?"
Samuel chimed in, "You say we have no manners, but does your family have any? Your son knocked up my daughter before marriage. Is that what you call manners? When I look at your family, I don't see any either. If you despise us so much, Ryan shouldn't have married Kelly. What's so great about being rich? We're here to take care of our pregnant daughter; what's it to you?"
Amy usually couldn't stand people like this. Now that Samuel and Julia were refusing to leave, she said she'd throw them out, but before she could act, they started rolling on the ground, threatening to livestream it.
Amy snapped, "Get this straight; this is my house. Who do you think you are? It was your daughter who insisted on marrying Ryan. She's the shameless one; she seduced Ryan by stripping naked; your daughter is the one without shame!"
Amy kept going, "Now I see where Kelly gets it from. She inherited her shamelessness from your whole family!"
Julia shot back, "How dare you call Kelly shameless and a slut. I think you're the slut. Who knows how you married your husband? Those words come so naturally from your mouth. You must have done this many times before. Maybe it's your greater skill that got you where you are now!"
Amy was so mad her heart was pounding. "You... you... you shrew, how dare you say that!"
Julia put her hands on her hips. "What, mad 'cause I hit a nerve? You look more like a whore; at least my family is decent, what about yours? All dirty business!"
Amy fumed, "You... you shrew, what nonsense are you spouting!"
Julia stood her ground. "I'm a shrew? You think you're so noble? Anyway, Kelly's part of your family now, so half of your family's property belongs to Kelly, and this house is half hers too. I'm staying here. Call the cops if you have the guts. Let's see if they can kick us out."
Amy was livid. "What did you say? Our family's property has nothing to do with you. Get out! Get out!"
"Why should we?" Samuel and Julia refused to budge.
Amy lost it and lunged at Julia, slapping her hard twice. "I'll beat you to death, you shameless woman. Get out! Get out!"
Samuel jumped in, slapping Amy twice. "How dare you hit my wife."
"You dare hit me!" Amy couldn't hold back, her long nails scratching them, leaving bloody marks.
A chaotic brawl broke out, the scene turning into a complete mess.
