Chapter 107 Did Xavier approach Grace for that secret?

Ryan thought he was overthinking it. How could Xavier have any connection with Grace? He wouldn't even look at an ugly girl like Grace, let alone Xavier.
However, Patrick's voice interrupted Ryan's thoughts. "You foolish!"
Patrick had everything arranged, ensuring that there were no extra rooms for Ryan and Grace being separated, even decorated the rooms with such intimacy, but Ryan still messed it up. Patrick rebuked Ryan as saying, "Hurry up and find her. If you don't bring Grace back today, don't bother coming back!"
Ryan had no choice but to find Grace. He thought Grace might be in the car, only to find that her luggage wasn't there.
Patrick also called Grace to first apologize on Ryan's behalf, saying Ryan was immature and asking Grace for more understanding. Then Patrick said, "Living in a car is not as comfortable as in a room. You and Ryan should go back. I've already taught him a lesson, he won't be stubborn anymore."
"Thank you for your kindness, I think it is fine to stay in the car," Grace replied.
"Are you in the car now?" Patrick asked.
Grace paused for a moment, then replied, "No, I went to take a look of the night view outside."
Patrick said with concern, "Are your belongings in the car? It's not safe."
"It's okay, my car is locked, it's safe." Over the phone, Grace couldn't see Patrick's eyes darken.
Ryan stood next to Grace's car, which had no luggage inside. Coupled with Grace's earlier hesitation, it was clear she was lying. Maybe Grace wasn't really out enjoying the night view; since Ryan couldn't find her, it was highly probable that Grace was in the room. If Grace had a place to stay, then who had arranged the room for her? Patrick had specifically instructed not to provide separate rooms for Grace and Ryan; they were to stay together.
In Skigeth, no one dared to disobey Patrick's orders, and the resort also didn't dare to go against the Montgomery Group, unless Xavier intervened.
Patrick didn't say much more. After hanging up the phone, he called Ryan again to ask if he had seen Xavier at the resort.
Ryan said, "Yes."
As expected. Patrick's heart sank, his eyes filled with calculation. It seemed very likely that where Grace was staying was related to Xavier, who had always been unpredictable; Patrick had seen it when Xavier first arrived at the Montgomery family - he was like a hungry wolf. Once Xavier latched onto something, he wouldn't let go. In the end, the entire Montgomery family might fall into Xavier's hands.
That was why Patrick tried everything to drive Xavier away. Now, why was Xavier helping Grace? What worried Patrick the most was that Xavier knew the secret about Grace, so he deliberately approached her. No, he absolutely couldn't let Xavier succeed!
Ryan quickly left the parking lot. As he was preparing to return to his room to rest, he saw Xavier. Judging by his appearance, he seemed to be done with his tasks and heading back to rest. Ryan immediately changed his route and plans; he decided not to go back but to follow Xavier.
By following Xavier's path, which seemed to lead to the hotel from last night, Ryan might just meet the person he had been longing for.
Ryan followed behind until Xavier reached the hotel building. Indeed, the person who stayed here last night was Xavier. The room's light was on, but Xavier didn't open the door for Ryan, it seemed intentional!
After all, they were relatives; why wouldn't Xavier open the door for Ryan? Was he afraid of Ryan seeing that woman? Ryan didn't intend to compete with Xavier; he just wanted Xavier to get tired of that woman and hand her over to him.
Maybe when that woman saw Ryan, she would choose him instead?
When Xavier opened the door, he didn't immediately enter but looked in the direction where Ryan was hiding. "The Montgomery family's etiquette teaches you to be as sneaky as a thief?"
Ryan, discovered by Xavier, didn't hide anymore and came out directly. "Xavier, since you live here, why didn't you open the door for me last night?"
Xavier's indifferent gaze made Ryan feel like he was being cut by a knife. "Why should I open the door for you?"
"We're from the same family, if you don't want to open the door, that's fine, but why did you let people kick me out? What are you doing that's so secretive?"
Ryan didn't know if he guessed right, but he seemed to have hit the mark.
Xavier had indeed done something secretive when Ryan arrived. Xavier's eyes darkened. As a matter of fact, he wouldn't want to be a member of the Montgomery family at all.
"Do I need to report to you what I do?" Xavier's voice was oppressive, sending a chill through the dark night.
Ryan felt a wave of pressure, even though it wasn't mandatory for Xavier to report to him, he couldn't shake off the discomfort. Since he was already there, Ryan decided to take the opportunity to search the room; maybe that woman was still there.
"Xavier, I need to use the bathroom. Since I'm here, why not let me in?" Ryan slipped into the room with the perfect excuse.
The room was pitch black, but with the light from outside, Ryan found the switch nearby. Turning on the light, Ryan saw everything inside clearly. The room was spotless, and after a quick look around, it seemed empty. Wondering if the person was upstairs, Ryan went up directly.
"Stop, aren't you going to the bathroom? There's one downstairs," Xavier called out to Ryan.
The more Xavier tried to stop Ryan from going upstairs, the more Ryan felt there was someone hiding upstairs.
Ignoring Xavier's words, Ryan went upstairs and found the bedroom empty. There wasn't even any extra clothing, as if there were no traces of life at all.
Since there was no one in the room, Ryan had to go back downstairs. As he descended, he saw Xavier sitting on the sofa with his legs crossed, exuding an aura of a mafia boss, with a few bodyguards around him.
Before Ryan could reach the bottom of the stairs, Xavier gestured with his hand, and the bodyguards came over, holding Ryan's arms directly.
"What are you doing? Let go of me! Xavier, what do you mean by this? I can walk by myself; don't touch me!"
However, no matter how much Ryan protested, it was futile.
He was escorted out of the hotel.
Some passersby saw the scene without any concealment. "Who's that being thrown out? Looks like Mr. Ryan, right? I've seen him before."
"Seems like Mr. Ryan; why was he thrown out?"
Ryan quickly covered his face. "You've got the wrong person; I'm not Ryan!"
