Chapter 291 Once Again Dazzled by His Good Looks

Grace couldn't hold it in any longer and spat out some water she hadn't swallowed yet.

Xavier was right there, and the droplets landed smack on his Adam's apple.

The water trickled down his neck like sweat, mixing with his heavy breathing and making him look even hotter.

"Sorry, didn't mean to," Grace said, reaching for a tissue to clean him up.

But Xavier held her so tight she couldn't move, let alone grab a tissue.

"Ms. Lewis, you made this mess. Aren't you gonna clean it up?" Xavier asked.

"Let me wipe it off for you." With no tissue in sight, Grace raised her hand to clean him herself.

As her hand touched his neck, a mischievous grin spread across her face.

She wrapped her arms around his waist and kissed his Adam's apple.

Now it was Xavier's turn to lose it. He'd been holding back for days, and now she was teasing him!

Taking advantage of his distraction, Grace slipped out of his grasp.

"I've cleaned it up for you, Mr. Montgomery. I'm off to bed. Goodnight!" she said, darting away.

Xavier could only watch her retreating figure.

By the time he caught up, she'd already shut the door and locked it.

"Grace, open the door!" Xavier's voice was hoarse and full of desire.

"There are other guest rooms nearby. Mr. Montgomery, you'll have to sleep in one of those tonight," Grace's voice came from inside, giggling like a mischievous kid.

Grace was still hiding behind the door when she heard a noise, and suddenly, the door swung open.

She hesitated. "You..."

'How did Xavier open the door?' she thought.

"In my place, you think you can lock me out?" Xavier's voice was menacing, his eyes burning with desire.

Seeing him like this, Grace knew she was in trouble.

"I'm sorry!" She looked at him with pitiful eyes. "I was just joking. You're so forgiving; you won't hold it against me, right?"

Grace was trying to apologize like Victor did, but she didn't realize how enticing she looked to Xavier.

His primal urges for control and destruction were fully awakened. Her clear eyes were so beautiful, he wanted to ruin them. Her pretty face was too clean; he wanted to dirty it.

Xavier had no intention of letting her off the hook. The desire he'd been suppressing was ready to explode.

Without even making it to the bed, he pushed her down onto the thick wool carpet, which was soft and warm.

He no longer held back, his eyes like a beast eyeing its prey.

Xavier's hand, with its defined knuckles, gripped her chin. "Weren't you so good at licking just now? How about you..."

All night long, Xavier showed Grace exactly what it meant to pay for her mistakes.

Grace swore she only meant to wipe the water off his Adam's apple, but she didn't expect Xavier to have so many tricks up his sleeve. Under the guise of punishment, he was a total beast.

The next morning, Grace woke up feeling like she couldn't even lift a finger.

She had no clue where Xavier got his energy from; he looked even more pumped than before.

Victor wanted to invite Grace out, but Xavier shut that down, saying she wasn't feeling well.

Victor got all worried, asking if she caught a cold or something.

Xavier took the call right next to Grace, not even trying to be discreet.

Grace felt utterly embarrassed. If Victor knew she couldn't get out of bed, he'd probably laugh his head off!

Grace had zero desire to move. Xavier had breakfast delivered, and after eating, she napped a bit longer. Finally, she got up and settled on the sofa, wrapped tightly in blankets, avoiding any convo with Xavier.

Later, Victor made a special effort to visit Grace. Wrapped snugly, she told him she was just feeling a bit dizzy and out of sorts, reassuring him not to worry.

Victor and Isaac couldn't help but marvel at Grace's face again. She was just too beautiful! Like a goddess. It was a pity she wasn't in showbiz.

Victor said, "Grace, how'd you get such a beautiful face?" She was so stunning, it was hard to look away.

She thought for a moment and said, "I got it from my mom."

Victor was still amazed. "Maybe you shouldn't wear makeup anymore. It's just us here, and no one else knows who you are. Wearing makeup every day must be tiring."

Victor couldn't take his eyes off her. "You're beautiful, just so beautiful."

"Have you seen enough? If you have, get out!" Xavier was already annoyed.

Victor said, "I'm just concerned about Grace."

Xavier said, "With me here, she's fine. But you're disturbing her rest. Just looking at you gives her a headache."

Victor fell silent.

He thought, 'Grace's headache isn't caused by me.'

Victor wanted to stay a bit longer, but Xavier kicked him out.

"Xavier, you're so petty! So heartless!" Victor cursed.

Victor and Isaac had to go out on their own. Grace didn't go out, and naturally, Xavier wouldn't either.

When Xavier closed the door and came back, he saw Grace on the sofa, looking at him with a resentful gaze.

Grace's eyes made Xavier's Adam's apple bob.

He finally got what those temptresses in stories were. In the heat of passion, he'd be willing to give her his life.

"It's all your fault!" Grace covered her face, wondering if Victor had noticed anything. She felt so embarrassed.

If she had known, she wouldn't have let Xavier tempt her last night.

Xavier replied, "My bad. I'll be more restrained next time."

Grace was puzzled and thought, 'I haven't agreed to a next time!'
