Chapter 352 Xavier's Skills in Mischief Have Improved
Grace was about to answer the door, but Xavier jumped up and said, "I'll get it."
He walked over and opened the door to find a property management staff member standing there.
Since outsiders couldn't enter the community, packages were delivered directly to the doorstep by the property staff.
The staff member said, "Mr. Montgomery, there's a package for Ms. Lewis. Can you sign for it?"
Xavier glanced at Grace. "Is this yours?"
The packaging looked pretty fancy.
Grace was a bit confused. She didn't think it was hers.
Then she remembered Angela mentioning a gift earlier and nodded, "Yeah, it's mine."
After Xavier signed for it, he brought it inside. "Can I open it?"
"Sure," Grace nodded.
She was curious about what Angela had sent. Judging by the size of the box, it seemed like something substantial.
Xavier grabbed a small knife nearby, and just then, Grace got a message from Angela: [Grace, you should have received the package by now. No need to thank me too much. I haven't tried any of these things myself, but they all have great reviews. Long nights ahead, you two take care.]
Grace read the message and felt something was off.
What did Angela mean by she hadn't tried them herself?
Suddenly realizing something, Grace quickly looked up to see Xavier already opening the box.
"Xavier!" Grace hurriedly called out and rushed over. "Don't open it!"
But Xavier had already opened it and looked inside.
Grace came over and saw the contents; there was silk, semi-transparent sexy lingerie, a small whip, and a bunch of adult toys. Her face instantly turned red with embarrassment.
Grace was shocked.
Why didn't Angela give her a heads-up before sending these things?
"Wow, Ms. Lewis. You have quite the adventurous side," Xavier said with a chuckle.
Grace explained, "Would you believe me if I said I had no idea? When I talked to her on the phone today, I mentioned I didn't know how to thank you or what gift to get you, and she said she had prepared one. I had no idea it was this."
Grace quickly grabbed the box, saying, "Xavier, just pretend you didn't see this. I'll throw them all away later!"
"Why? Your friend put a lot of thought into this. We should make good use of them, don't you think?" Xavier joked playfully.
Xavier picked up one of the items from the box, and Grace's face turned even redder when she saw what it was.
There were even some pills inside, meant to prolong or speed things up.
Xavier picked up one of the pills with his other hand and deliberately leaned close to Grace's ear, "How do you usually describe me to your friends? Does she have some misunderstanding about my abilities, or are you dissatisfied and think I need these?"
Xavier's hot breath and words made Grace blush even more.
What kind of talk was this!
"Angela is just messing around. I haven't told her much about us," Grace's voice was as small as a mosquito's.
Holding the items felt like holding a hot potato; she didn't know what to do with them.
Xavier chuckled. "It's okay to talk about these things with your friends, but you should be honest. It wouldn't be good if she really thought I couldn't satisfy you."
Grace was stunned.
Xavier's teasing skills had improved!
Grace definitely didn't need these things.
Xavier grinned, "Tell Angela I really appreciate her gift."
Grace quickly closed the box and set it aside. "I don't want it. Don't even think about using these on me!"
Xavier already had plenty of tricks up his sleeve; she couldn't handle any more.
Xavier didn't push it. If Grace didn't like it, then they wouldn't use it.
Xavier added, "Before this, you wanted to tell me something, right?"
He remembered that when he went to open the door, Grace seemed hesitant, clearly wanting to say something.
Grace remembered. "Oh, right. My project was successful, and I need to go abroad to sign the contract. As the boss, I have to go personally."
"How long will you be gone?" Xavier frowned.
"I'm not sure, but probably at least a week. Just letting you know," Grace responded.
"When are you leaving?" Xavier pulled her back into his arms. After being sweet together for so long, even a week apart felt too long for Xavier.
When Colin was dating, he was always glued to his girlfriend, and Xavier didn't understand it back then. Now Xavier seemed to get it.
Grace said, "In the next couple of days."
Xavier knew this was Grace's job, and he wouldn't interfere.
But the thought of being apart for a week made Xavier unhappy.
Xavier added, "Shouldn't you make it up to me before you leave?"
Grace responded, "How should I make it up to you?"
Xavier picked up the lingerie from the box. It was a thin, semi-transparent piece with barely any fabric.
Xavier bit her earlobe and whispered, "Wear it for me."
Grace knew that if she wore it, Xavier would go even crazier.
Although many of Angela's gifts hadn't been used, Xavier's tricks were already numerous, leaving Grace helpless every time.
In the end, Xavier bit her ear and said, "We'll use the rest when you get back."
Grace's body instantly heated up, and Xavier almost surrendered.
The next day, she stayed in bed, unable to get up. Knowing Grace was about to leave for a week, Xavier didn't go to the office either.
After a day of rest, Grace was full of energy again, and Xavier personally took her to the airport.
Grace waved to Xavier and then went through the boarding gate.
Grace's trip had a mission. She had researched the foreign market, and their proposal was well-received.
Upon arriving in the country, Grace met with someone.
That person was the head of the International Perfumery Competition and a renowned perfumer.
Grace had met him several years ago when she first participated in the competition and won first place. Jett Foster had contacted her then.
Jett hadn't expected Iris to be a fifteen-year-old girl. Eight years had passed since then.
And in all these years, Grace had consistently won first place in the competition.
Jett admired Grace, so when he learned she was coming to Country E, he naturally wanted to meet her.
Grace and Jett arranged to have a meal together and walked into the restaurant. Not far away, Madison saw them.
Wasn't that Jett?
Madison was in Country E to receive an award from the perfumery competition and knew Grace was coming to sign a contract. She wanted to try her luck.
As long as Grace hadn't signed the contract, she still had a chance.
Although she had tried to contact Jett through connections, he hadn't responded.
Now she saw Grace having a meal with Jett.
How could someone like Grace know someone as important as Jett?
