Chapter 643 Father and Son Meet

Killer turned to leave, but Grace lunged forward, grabbing onto him. "Xavier, don't go!"

She had finally found Xavier, and she wasn't about to let him slip away again.

Killer pushed her away, but she clung to him even tighter.

"I told you, you've got the wrong guy," Killer said, frowning deeply.

Grace was certain she hadn't made a mistake. The voice was unmistakably Xavier's, and she had seen him fight for her just moments ago.

Why wouldn't he admit it? Did he really not want her anymore?

Killer forcefully pushed Grace away and strode off.

"Don't go, please..." Grace tried to chase after him, but her head was spinning from too much alcohol, and she stumbled backward.

Killer, who had only taken a few steps, heard the commotion and turned to see Grace teetering. He quickly moved to catch her, preventing her from hitting the ground. Instead, she fell into his arms.

The woman was stunningly beautiful, her face like that of an angel, so breathtaking it made him pause.

Her eyelashes were still wet with tears, and her eyes were red-rimmed, making her look pitiful and aggrieved.

Holding her, Killer felt a pang of pain in his heart.

He had no idea what was going on, and now this woman had passed out. He couldn't just leave her here.

He didn't know who she was, where she lived, or anything about her.

After a moment's thought, he picked Grace up and carried her back to his hotel room.

This was Killer's room. After bringing Grace inside, her phone started ringing incessantly.

Killer initially ignored it, but it kept ringing.

The caller ID read "Robert York," and Killer decided to silence it. He didn't have the habit of answering other people's phones.

But soon enough, Grace's phone rang again, this time with the caller ID "Baby Boy."

Killer's heart skipped a beat. This woman looked so young, yet she had a son?

He watched the phone flash for a while until it automatically hung up because it had not been answered. Shortly after, it rang again, this time from Marcus.

On impulse, Killer swiped the screen, and a child's voice immediately came through.

"Mommy!"

"Mommy, are you coming home tonight? When will you be back?"

Killer paused, feeling a stronger sense of unease.

He didn't respond, and the child on the other end hesitated. "Mommy? Mommy, are you there? Mr. York said you disappeared and he's really worried. Mommy?"

"Your mommy is fine," Killer said, his cold voice softening slightly.

Clearly, Marcus was shocked to hear a man's voice.

Killer expected the child to ask who he was, but instead, Marcus exclaimed, "Wow, Mommy went to find a gigolo!"

Killer, referred to as a gigolo, remained silent.

"You're mistaken."

"Did you sleep with my mommy? Did she fall for you? Do you look like my daddy?"

Marcus knew his mommy was a strong woman, and if she didn't want something, no one could force her.

Moreover, his mom never paid attention to other men unless they resembled his dad.

Marcus had never met his dad, only seen photos on his mom's phone, which was a source of pain for her.

He didn't mind his mom finding someone else, as he didn't want her to be stuck on someone who wasn't there.

"No," Killer denied.

Was this child's father the man named Xavier?

He couldn't understand why, if Xavier had abandoned this woman, she still clung to his memory, begging him not to leave.

"What do you mean, no? What's your name?" Marcus asked curiously.

"Your mom is fine. She's at the Emerald Oasis Hotel. If you're worried, come and get her. Goodbye."

Killer was about to hang up.

"Wait, don't hang up!" Marcus's voice came through.

Killer felt compelled to obey, his finger hovering over the end call button but not pressing it.

"Why?"

"I don't like being hung up on. If anyone's hanging up, it's me. Goodbye, Mommy's gigolo."

Killer remained silent.

Marcus hung up, and Killer set the phone aside.

Standing by the bed, he noticed Grace had reached out and grabbed his shirt.

Killer stared at her, his mind blank regarding this woman, except for the memory of her being coerced at the airport and seeing her at Dorian's party a few days ago.

Was it just a coincidence that she appeared before him three times in such a short period?

Was it accidental or intentional?

Her presence at Dorian's birthday party suggested she wasn't ordinary. She had clung to him, calling out another man's name. Was this some kind of plot or trap?

Dorian opposed Hugh's plan, and if she were Dorian's person, was she trying to influence him to adopt that plan?

Killer took a deep breath, knowing he shouldn't waste time on a woman.

Regardless of her intentions, he wouldn't be swayed.

He knew he should leave, but his steps faltered as he looked at her face.

He stood there silently for what felt like a long time, finally releasing her grip on his shirt and tucking her hand under the blanket.

He left the room, closed the door, and entered the nearby elevator.

He hadn't had a chance to report to Hugh yet.

He picked up his phone and called Hugh. "Mr. Ramirez, yes, everything is going according to plan."

The elevator reached the first floor, and the doors opened to reveal a small child.

The child was dressed stylishly, wearing a baseball cap that obscured half his face.

Killer stepped out, and Marcus stepped in.

Marcus was too short to reach the top floor button, even if he stood on tiptoe or jumped.

Seeing this, Killer re-entered the elevator. "Which floor?"

"Thirty-three, thank you, sir." The boy's voice matched the one on the phone, and the floor was the same one Killer had just left.

Killer was taken aback. Was this the woman's son?
