Chapter 412 You Can Only Be Mine
Grace was pinned against the wall by Xavier.
Her barely dressed body was pressed between the cold wall and a heated presence, leaving her unable to avoid the incoming kiss.
She didn't need to look to know whose face was so close to hers.
The strong smell of alcohol seemed to seep into Grace's body through the deep kiss.
She knew it was Xavier, the man holding her so tightly as if he wanted to devour her.
"Xavier, what are you doing?" Grace found it hard to speak, and she couldn't push Xavier away.
Xavier's one hand encircled her waist, while the other roamed over her body, igniting desire wherever it touched, yet his lips remained locked with hers.
"It hurts." Grace's cry of pain seemed to snap Xavier back to reality. He loosened his grip slightly, kicked the bedroom door shut, and carried Grace to the bed.
"Xavier, let me go! Let go!" Grace yelled constantly.
Grace struggled, but she was no match for Xavier.
Xavier threw Grace onto the bed, and with a ripping sound, her clothes were torn apart by Xavier.
His kisses fell densely, moving from Grace's earlobe to her neck and down to her chest.
The more Grace struggled, the more excited Xavier seemed to become.
"Let go, stop." Grace's hands were pinned above her head by Xavier, who held her wrists with one hand, making it impossible for her to move. In this intimate position, she had no way to resist.
Xavier pressed down on her, his other hand caressing her waist and quickly moving to her lower abdomen.
Grace's waist and lower abdomen were already sensitive areas, and Xavier's fingers, rough with calluses, made it even harder for her to bear.
Now, a tiny life was growing inside her. This was the first time since she found out she was pregnant that the child's father had felt the presence of the baby.
Xavier seemed to sense something, his large, burning hand rested directly on her bare skin, right where their small life was growing.
Grace had been pregnant for over three months, and her once flat belly now had a slight bump.
"No." Grace's pink toes curled up. "No."
Grace twisted her body, trying to escape Xavier's control, but Xavier's leg forced its way between hers.
She couldn't figure out what Xavier intended to do, but whatever it was, Grace didn't want it!
"Stop." Her tears fell one by one, her voice tinged with a sob.
Her lips were kissed again, and Grace's voice was muffled in her throat. Xavier's kiss was no longer as fierce as before but was now gentle and lingering.
Xavier's kisses fell on her nose, her eyelashes, and the corners of her eyes. Sensing a salty taste, Xavier's body stiffened.
"Don't cry." His hands brushed away Grace's tears from the corner of her eye, his voice hoarse.
"Get off me! You bastard!" Grace cursed, jerking him away.
Xavier's head lowered, burying itself in Grace's neck as he inhaled her scent.
"I miss you so much." His voice came, just like every time he said he missed her before.
But this time, the emotion was even stronger.
Grace was stunned, letting Xavier's breath fall on her neck.
Grace could scarcely believe that Xavier would miss her, and she regarded it as a jest.
"You've got the wrong person," Grace said. She didn't buy into the whole 'affection grew over time' thing, and she couldn't believe Xavier would develop feelings for her.
"I could never mistake you," Xavier shot back.
He didn't need to see her face; he could pick her out by her silhouette, her voice, even in a crowd.
Grace's nose tingled, and she opened her mouth but didn't know what to say.
"Xavier, wasn't I clear enough yesterday? If you do anything to me, I'll call the cops and have you locked up for life!" Grace said, feeling helpless.
"Go ahead, call the cops," Xavier responded.
He wondered if getting locked up for life might be the only way to stop thinking about her.
"If you're sick, see a doctor. Don't come looking for me again. My boyfriend will get jealous." Grace made an excuse.
She thought maybe she should actually get a boyfriend to get Xavier off her back. He was the one who ended things, yet he kept coming back to bother her.
Xavier, who had been buried in Grace's neck, suddenly lifted his head and asked, "You have a boyfriend?"
"Who is it?" His voice was almost a growl.
"It's none of your business. I don't owe you any explanations." Grace replied, a bit angry.
"Is it Omari? Or Sterling?" Xavier demanded.
"I said, it's none of your business, I..." Before Grace could finish, Xavier kissed her again, this time even more forcefully and roughly than before.
Grace's clothes were completely torn apart.
"You're mine, you can only be mine!" Xavier murmured in a hoarse tone.
At this moment, Xavier decided that no matter what, he had to be, he would reclaim Grace! In his eyes, Grace belonged to only him. Xavier seemed to have turned into a madman, completely devoid of reason.
Grace was terrified. If this continued, Xavier would definitely do something to her tonight.
Xavier knew her body well, having intimately explored it himself. Whether it was due to the heightened sensitivity of her pregnancy, a few deft touches from Xavier were enough to make Grace's body yield completely.
She couldn't control her physiological reactions, but her heart told her this wasn't right.
Grace didn't know what to do. She remembered that every time she cried out in pain, Xavier would become gentler.
She didn't know if this would work, but she tried, "Xavier, it hurts, it really hurts."
Sure enough, this seemed to be Xavier's weakness. As soon as he heard Grace cry out in pain, he would stop.
Even though Xavier was drunk and agitated by the thought of Grace having a boyfriend, hearing her say it hurt made his heart ache.
"Where does it hurt?" Xavier's urgent voice was filled with worry.
He couldn't bear to see Grace in any pain, not even the slightest.
Grace seized the opportunity, raising her knee and striking him in the stomach.
Xavier grunted, and Grace took the chance to push him away.
She didn't use her full strength; otherwise, he'd be down for the count.
Grace pushed Xavier away, grabbed a nearby blanket, and ran out.
Her hands trembled as she opened the door, fearing that Xavier would catch up and she wouldn't be able to escape.
However, all she heard was the sound of something collapsing behind her.
