Chapter 262 You Have to be with Me

Grace's eyes widened as she passively endured Xavier's rough kiss.

With the lingering taste of alcohol in her mouth, Grace felt Xavier's firm grip on her wrist, leaving her no opportunity to resist or struggle.

Grace felt as if a monumental weight pressed upon her, stifling her breath, leaving her nearly gasping for air.

"Xavier..." Grace called his name with difficulty.

To Xavier, this sound was like a catalyst, further fueling his already irrational state of mind. Now driven solely by instinct, he carried out his actions without conscious thought or deliberation.

"Xavier," she called his name, her delicate voice sounding more like a tender plea.

Xavier's another hand was on her waist, caressing her skin.

Xavier's scorching touch on Grace's waist, already her most sensitive spot, sent waves of intense sensation that felt as if it had been seared into her very being.

Grace's strength was no match for Xavier's; she couldn't fight him off.

Seeing that she couldn't struggle free, Grace gave up and let Xavier kiss her.

When Xavier saw Grace calm down, his actions became gentler.

Finally parting from Grace's lips, Xavier's fervent kisses continued their descent, tracing a path along her chin and neck, leaving a trail of fiery sensations in their wake.

Grace finally took a breath and realized something was wrong.

"Xavier, what exactly do you want? We're already over; it's not appropriate to do this," Grace reminded him.

She wasn't sure if Xavier was drunk and acting on male instinct. What if he regretted it when he sobered up and thought she was seducing him?

"Over?" Xavier gripped Grace's chin, forcing her to look into his eyes.

"I don't allow it. After ending with me, who do you want to start over with?" Xavier's voice was strained, and his jealousy was raging.

Grace was silent.

Wasn't it Xavier who said it was over? So what was he doing now, regretting it?

"Mr. Montgomery, have you forgotten? You were the one who suggested ending it," Grace reminded him.

"I regret it," Xavier said.

The words struck Grace, causing her eyes to dilate in disbelief. She couldn't help but question if she had misheard.

Xavier actually said he regretted it?

What did he regret?

"Xavier, your words could easily lead to a misunderstanding," Grace said, her heart racing. She truly could misinterpret Xavier's intentions.

Xavier was still on top of her, his eyes looking into hers, filled with complex emotions.

Xavier wasn't good with words; he could only express himself through actions.

He leaned down to kiss Grace again, but she blocked him with her hand, and his kiss landed on her palm.

"Xavier, don't you have anything to say?" Grace's beautiful eyes sparkled.

Xavier's Adam's apple bobbed. "Yes, you can't have dinner alone with Omari."

Grace was silent.

"Don't be with him," Xavier continued.

"I..." She wanted to tell him that she wasn't with Omari. But before Grace could finish, Xavier said, "Be with me."

At that moment, Grace froze.

Her mind went blank, Xavier's words echoing in her ears," Be with him."

Did Xavier know what he was saying?

Was he serious?

Xavier's lips landed once again on Grace's palm, eliciting a tingling sensation that coursed through her hand. Just as she started to withdraw her hand, Xavier swiftly captured her lips in a kiss.

Contrasting the previous intensity, his kiss was incredibly gentle this time.

On the couch, their bodies entwined. Xavier kissed Grace all over until she finally stopped him.

"It's too late; we should go home," Grace said, trying to sit up.

Xavier held her as she got up. "Yes, let's go home."

Grace was still so light; had she lost weight again?

"Put me down. Put me down. You're drunk, and I need to support you. Don't fall," Grace said.

Grace struggled to get down from Xavier, who was indeed still dizzy, feeling like he was dreaming.

"Then support me," Xavier said.

"I'll support you," Grace said.

Xavier's voice was low. "Support me for a lifetime."

"What?" Grace didn't hear clearly.

But Xavier didn't repeat himself.

She stared at him, feeling like he had said something about a lifetime. Maybe she had misheard.

Grace supported Xavier downstairs. Her car was outside, and she opened the passenger door, intending for Xavier to get in. But Xavier pulled her towards the back seat.

"You want to sit in the back? Fine, buckle up. I'll be your driver," Grace said.

However, once Xavier got in, he didn't let go of Grace's hand. He pulled her into the back seat with him, holding her waist tightly.

"I need to drive. Are you drunk or not? Can you hear me, Mr. Montgomery?" Grace asked.

However, Xavier wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into his embrace.

His chin rested on her shoulder, his eyes closed, savoring Grace's unique scent.

It felt like a dream. If he woke up, Grace might be gone.

Grace didn't dare move, her heart pounding rapidly. Xavier was so obedient tonight. Was he always like this when drunk?

Not many people had seen this side of Xavier. And what about the things he said? Did they mean what she thought they did?

She didn't dare hope that Xavier had feelings for her. She believed it would be impossible to bring someone as seemingly all-powerful as him down to her level.

Forget it. She'd talk to Xavier tomorrow when he sobered up. Maybe it was just a drunken impulse.

After a while, Grace called Xavier's name. "Xavier."

"Xavier?"

Xavier didn't move. Was he asleep?

Grace found that he really was. But he was holding her too tightly, his hand still gripping hers.

Grace tried to break free to drive, but Xavier's hand wouldn't budge.

Forget it, she'd call a driver.

Even though she hadn't drunk, she was covered in the smell of alcohol.

Soon, the driver arrived, and Grace gave the address of the Bameran villa.

Ordinary cars couldn't enter the Bameran villa, but seeing it was Xavier, the doormen let them in.

Grace had Kieran call for help, and with two people supporting Xavier, they finally got him inside, leaving Grace sweating.

Grace wasn't sure if Xavier would wake up in the middle of the night, so she went to the kitchen to make porridge for him. His fragile stomach surely won't be able to handle it, given the copious amount of alcohol he consumed. So she also prepared some hangover soup.

Not sure if Xavier would feel sick or vomit in the middle of the night, Grace stayed by his side.

"Sleep. I'll watch over you," Grace said softly.

Looking at the sleeping Xavier, his face was still so handsome. Grace couldn't help but reach out to poke his cheek.

His skin was so good, with perfect features. But his brows were still furrowed. Grace's fingers gently smoothed his brows, and as if sensing her touch, his frown gradually relaxed.
