Chapter 462 You Should Get Your Head Checked
The Montgomery Mansion.
Kelly finished her bath, came out in a camisole, and sat down to do her skincare routine.
Although she had given birth, Kelly maintained herself well. Her skin was delicate, and she was indeed beautiful. If any other man saw this scene, he would definitely not be able to resist pouncing on her.
Behind her, Ryan's gaze was cold. He really wanted to strangle Kelly.
Kelly dressed like this at home every day. He didn't know if Kelly was trying to seduce him, but he couldn't do anything about it now.
Ryan walked over and threw a document in front of Kelly. "Sign this."
"What is this?" Kelly picked it up and saw the divorce papers.
She looked up in surprise. "You want to divorce me?"
"This marriage was a scheme of yours from the start. Don't think that just because you had my child, you can enter the Montgomery family. Get out now, and we'll finalize the divorce tomorrow!"
Kelly pulled up a cold smile. She didn't expect Ryan to be in such a hurry.
She knew that once she had the child and lost her value, Ryan would ruthlessly abandon her.
"Divorce is fine, but what about the assets?"
Kelly had no feelings for Ryan anyway.
"You still want assets? You're dreaming! You vicious woman, I knew you were after the Montgomery family's money. I'm telling you, you won't get a single dollar!"
He wasn't afraid of Kelly hiring a lawyer. After all, he had no money in his name; it was all with Patrick, so it wasn't considered marital property.
"Ryan, don't be too cruel."
"Who's being cruel, Kelly? If you know what's good for you, get out."
After saying that, Ryan went outside to sleep on the bed.
Kelly looked at the divorce papers, a hint of malice flashing in her eyes.
After finishing her skincare routine, she saw Ryan over there, lifted the blanket, and lay down next to him.
In the middle of the night, Ace started crying again in the nursery.
It probably disturbed Ryan, who was sleeping next door. Ryan's impatient voice rang out, "Aren't you going to check on him? All he does is cry all day!"
Kelly sat up from the bed and went outside.
Even though it had been two months, the swaddled Ace was still so small and ugly.
Kelly looked at Ace without a trace of affection.
He was just a tool to her, and his existence was also a potential threat to Kelly.
Ace kept crying, and Kelly looked on coldly, even reaching out her hand towards Ace's neck.
Ace was so small that Kelly could grasp his neck with one hand. Her eyes were filled with malice. If she exerted force, Ace would undoubtedly die.
She was now pregnant with Patrick's child, and Ace was no longer useful. If Ryan wanted to divorce her, she would make him regret it!
Kelly tightened her grip, and Ace cried even harder.
Ace's cries were so loud that Ryan, inside, couldn't stand it anymore. He came out. "Kelly, didn't I tell you to soothe Ace? What are you doing?"
However, Ace was already on the verge of suffocation in Kelly's hands. Ryan saw Kelly's grip on his neck and quickly pushed her away. "What are you doing!"
Ryan hurriedly picked up Ace, finding him motionless.
"Doctor, call the doctor!"
Ace's health was already poor, and he had just been brought home not long ago.
In the middle of the night, the hospital doctor was called to resuscitate Ace.
The doctor said, "The child almost suffocated to death. Fortunately, he was brought in time. However, he is not out of danger yet, and due to the suffocation, there may be other damages to his body."
Ryan raised his hand and slapped Kelly hard across the face.
"You bitch!"
"You actually tried to strangle my child. Do you want the Montgomery family to have no descendants?" Ryan's eyes were red as he glared viciously at Kelly.
If he hadn't come out in time, his child might have been gone. "Vicious woman, you're insane!"
It was a pity that Ace didn't die.
Ryan thought Kelly tried to strangle Ace to make him regret proposing a divorce. He wouldn't let Kelly near Ace again!
Kelly stayed at the hospital overnight and then returned to the Montgomery Mansion.
Amy had already heard about the incident. When Kelly returned, she slapped her across the face. "You bitch, if anything happens to Ace, I won't let you off!"
Kelly coldly smiled. "What, if something happens to him, are you going to join him?"
"Are you cursing me to die?" Amy was even more furious, wanting to hit Kelly. Kelly directly pushed her hard, and Amy fell to the ground, sitting there and making a scene.
Kelly looked at her coldly. Amy's days as the lady of the house were numbered.
Xavier stayed with Grace for two days before returning to Oakworth for work.
Grace went to the hospital again to get some medication for her pregnancy and unexpectedly ran into Ryan.
"Grace." Ryan looked at her, his eyes filled with deep emotion.
Grace's face was one he had liked for a long time and searched for a long time.
Every time he saw Grace, his heart raced like a first love, and he couldn't take his eyes off her face.
"Is there something you need?" Grace asked coldly, showing no intention of engaging in conversation with Ryan.
"Why are you at the hospital? Are you feeling unwell?" Ryan looked at Grace with concern.

"But I'm not doing well. I'm divorcing Kelly. She's still so heartless; she even tried to strangle her child. The child is still not out of danger. Grace, I regret it. Do I still have a chance?"
"Ryan, you have your child now. Just live your life."
"But the child is in a dangerous condition. Grace, if you're willing to be with me, I'll do anything. Even if you want a child with someone else, I'll raise it."
"Ryan, I think you need to get your head checked."
Grace still thought Ryan was seriously ill. No normal person would say such things.
Grace turned to leave, and Ryan tried to follow. "Grace."
"Ryan, if you dare follow me, I'll call the police."
Under Grace's warning, Ryan didn't dare follow her.
Just as she left the hospital, Kelly blocked her path.
