Chapter 142 Who Else Do You Want to Be Kissed By?
Chapter 142 Who Else Do You Want to Be Kissed By?
Although Angela spoke freely and openly without much consideration, giving the impression of being experienced, in reality, it was all theoretical.
Despite never having had a boyfriend, she had a deep understanding of these matters.
Thinking about what was happening next door made Angela extremely nervous.
She had just called out Grace's name in there, didn't the people next door hear it all?
Not wanting to interrupt anyone's good time, Angela quickly changed her clothes and prepared to leave. She wanted to tell Grace about this as soon as possible.
Outside the changing room, Angela thought of calling Grace to ask where she was.
Grace, hearing Angela leave, finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Xavier!" Grace's moist eyes were filled with anger, making her look even more tempting to bully.
She was clearly calling Xavier's name in anger, but it sounded particularly like she was being coquettish.
"So, you don't feel anything when I kiss you like this?"
"You don't feel anything when I touch your waist?"
Xavier seemed to want Grace to confront the things she was avoiding in her heart.
Grace panted, "It doesn't matter who it is, I would feel something no matter who kisses me."
Xavier said with an unhappy face, "Who else do you want to be kissed by? Ryan? Or Omari?"
'What does this have to do with Omari?'Grace pondered.
With Angela gone, Grace's courage surged. "Why do I sense jealousy in your voice? Xavier, with this look, you wouldn't be interested in me, would you? Are you that desperate?"
A trace of coldness flashed in Xavier's eyes. "Do you think I would be interested in your appearance?"
"Maybe not my look, but what if my body satisfies you?" Grace mimicked Xavier's rogue tone.
"If you have needs, why don't you find someone else? Why come to me? Can't you do without me?" She began to use reverse psychology.
"If I can't get away from you, why don't we make a deal? I'll agree to let you have control. I'll be at your beck and call; do whatever you ask. In exchange, you help me cancel my engagement with Ryan."
Grace thought, 'If I really couldn't escape, I might as well get some benefits for myself.'
"Do you really believe you have what it takes to negotiate with me?"Xavier retorted.
Anyway, Xavier had just said that Stephanie wasn't his girlfriend.
Grace didn't hide anymore, she directly hooked her arms around Xavier's neck, her bright red lips approaching Xavier's face. "Xavier, do you think I have such qualifications?"
Xavier swallowed, thinking,' The Grace in front of him is a little enchantress! Sometimes timid, sometimes very bold.'
"What if I don't agree?" Xavier's voice seemed much hoarser.
"Then I'll..."
The phone suddenly rang, interrupting Grace's words.
Because the changing room was very quiet, the phone's ringtone was very clear, even audible from outside.
Grace was startled. All her courage vanished.
She quickly pulled out her phone and saw that Angela was calling. Now, she was unsure whether to answer.
Angela held her phone outside the changing room, wondering, 'Why did I feel the ringtone coming from inside?'
Just as Grace was about to answer, Angela hung up.
Grace quickly took the opportunity to put her phone on silent while Angela walked back into the changing room. "Grace?"
Grace didn't expect Angela to come back, she lost the momentum she had when negotiating with Xavier.
Angela called again, but she didn't hear anything this time.
'Was I just hearing things earlier? Why isn't Grace answering the phone either?'
"You'll do what?" In the stall, Xavier, ignoring Angela outside, directly asked the question Grace hadn't finished.
Grace didn't expect Xavier to speak; she quickly reached out to cover his mouth.
Hearing the sudden voice, Angela was even more startled. It proved that what she had thought earlier was true; there really was someone here.
She decided to leave quickly, not wanting to spoil anyone's fun.
Once she was sure there was no sound outside, Grace released her hand from Xavier's mouth. "Let's talk outside."
It was a changing room; what if someone else came in? It wouldn't be good for anyone to see them here.
Grace wasn't like Ryan and Kelly, who could make love anywhere. Besides, she had no intention of doing such things with Xavier.
"What if I don't agree?"Xavier asked.
"Please!" Grace tugged at his sleeve.
"Weren't you just trying to negotiate with me?" Xavier remained unmoved.
"The terms I mentioned, you could actually consider them. You wouldn't be at a loss," Grace said.
"I won't agree. Your wedding with Ryan can't be canceled."
Grace didn't understand, asking, "Why? What benefit does it bring you?"
Xavier looked into her eyes. "Just taking it as me enjoying the sense of taboo."
Grace fell silent.
'So Xavier believed that the Montgomery family had treated him unfairly, and he thought that getting involved with Ryan's partner would bring him satisfaction? Is this what Xavier meant by something even more twisted?'Grace was puzzled.
"You!"
Seeing Grace's face turn red with anger, Xavier's mood improved considerably.
"What, want to curse at me?"
Grace snorted coldly. "No, I don't dare."
"Is it 'no' or 'don't dare'?"Xavier asked.
"What's the difference? They mean the same thing." Grace knew that as long as Xavier wanted, she couldn't escape his grasp.
But Grace didn't believe he could stay in Skigeth forever.
"So, what do you want to say by cornering me here? Do you just want to test if I have feelings for you, or do you want to show off how many people like you? Do you want me to be jealous of you?"Grace questioned.
Xavier remained silent. Even he himself didn't know why he had cornered her here.
Stephanie's appearance was unexpected. He didn't want to interact with her, and he had rejected her countless times.
When he saw Grace leaving, he wanted to tell her not to believe anything Stephanie said.
He didn't know why things had developed this way.
"What did Stephanie say to you?" Xavier asked.
Grace felt a bit like she was being interrogated.
"I didn't bully her, "Grace replied.
Xavier laughed coldly. "You're no match for her. Stay away from her."
Stephanie might look like a pampered lady, but she had plenty of tricks up her sleeve. If she wanted to deal with Grace, the current Grace wouldn't stand a chance.
Although Xavier would make Stephanie return to Oakworth as soon as possible, he feared Stephanie would target Grace.
"I'm not foolish." Grace detested conflict and wouldn't intentionally provoke anyone.
"Yes, you're not foolish." Xavier's voice lowered, tinged with what seemed like satisfaction.
"If she targets me, it's all because of you. Since you know she likes you, why can't you stop attracting other girls? Jessica was a victim; I don't want to be the next one."
"Attracting a girl? Who did I attract? Did I attract you?"Xavier retorted.
Grace fell silent.
Xavier lowered his voice, uttering, "Who exactly attract whom first?"
