Chapter 419 Xavier, I Feel So Awful
Daniel's heart nearly stopped when he saw the man who walked in. "Xavier?"
No way, it couldn't be Xavier. What the hell was he doing here?
Xavier's eyes locked onto Grace lying on the bed. She looked like a broken doll, her long hair covering her face, and her clothes torn by Daniel.
His eyes turned bloodshot, and a murderous glint flashed in them.
In a flash, Xavier grabbed Daniel and slammed him against the wall. His hand wrapped around Daniel's neck, smashing the back of his head against the wall.
Daniel clawed at Xavier's hand, trying to break free, but it was like trying to move a mountain.
Xavier's grip tightened, and Daniel felt death creeping closer.
"Let go," Daniel gasped.
"You touched her? You're dead!" Xavier's voice was ice-cold. He punched Daniel square in the face.
Blood streamed from Daniel's head, and his face swelled up. He'd already lost a bunch of teeth, and now, with Xavier's punch, the rest were nearly gone.
But Xavier wasn't done. Daniel had dared to touch Grace; he had to pay.
Xavier landed a few more punches, making Daniel feel like his insides were turning to mush.
Xavier delivered a heavy kick to Daniel's already useless manhood.
Daniel writhed on the floor, begging, "Please, spare me. I didn't sleep with her. I swear, I didn't. She just threw up on me, and I just got out of the shower."
"I only tore her clothes. I didn't even kiss her. Please, Mr. Montgomery, spare me." Daniel clutched his groin, all his bravado gone.
Everyone knew messing with Xavier was a death sentence.
A soft moan from Grace on the bed made Xavier's heart clench.
He quickly took off his jacket and covered her with it.
"Get your men and get out!" Xavier roared.
Daniel's punishment would come later when Xavier had the time.
Daniel scrambled to his feet, ignoring the blood on his face.
"Consider this a gift, Mr. Montgomery. If she doesn't have sex after taking this aphrodisiac, she'll be in agony. The hospital can't help. Considering my sincerity, Mr. Montgomery..."
"Get out!" Xavier shouted.
Daniel felt like his legs were broken from the beating, but who would dare provoke Xavier now? He crawled out as fast as he could.
Xavier's combat skills were no joke. He'd taken down the well-trained bodyguards outside all by himself.
And the door, which was supposed to be super sturdy, had been kicked open by Xavier with one blow.
What was the deal between Xavier and Grace that made him go berserk like this?
He remembered seeing Xavier with a woman backstage at a fashion show. Could that woman have been Grace?
Back in the room, the tension was still thick. Xavier checked on Grace, and as soon as he touched her, she seemed to sense something familiar and clung to him.
Her eyes were half-closed, her cheeks flushed, looking like ripe fruit ready to be picked.
Grace felt like she was burning up, and holding onto something cool felt so good she couldn't help but rub against it.
Seeing Grace snuggling into his arms, Xavier, who already had a fierce possessiveness towards her, almost immediately gave in.
"I'm so uncomfortable," Grace's voice was low and tearful.
She even reached out and wrapped her arms around Xavier's waist.
Xavier's body and scent were so familiar to her, etched into her memory. In her dazed state, her body had already yielded to him.
With someone like Daniel, Grace was instinctively defensive, but with Xavier, it was different. Her body and soul had long belonged to Xavier. Without rational thought, her body automatically gravitated towards him.
"I'll take you to the hospital," Xavier said, reaching out to pick her up.
But Grace hooked her arms around his neck and wrapped her legs around his waist, leaving Xavier stunned.
Her hot breath was right by Xavier's ear. "Xavier, I'm so uncomfortable."
Xavier's body trembled. She knew he was Xavier; she was calling his name.
"Xavier," her voice was low, as if she had been greatly wronged. At that moment, Xavier's heart shattered.
He held Grace tightly, letting her head rest on his shoulder.
"You bastard!" Grace suddenly bit down on Xavier's neck. She seemed to want to bit harder but couldn't muster the strength. The bite was light, like a kitten's nibble.
Xavier felt a deep pain in his heart, which was tightly clenched. He held Grace even tighter.
He opened his mouth. "I'm sorry."
As soon as he spoke, Grace kissed him.
Her lips were still so soft and hot.
Xavier's Adam's apple bobbed quickly. Grace's kiss was unskilled, but her scent filled Xavier's senses.
Xavier's mind went blank the moment Grace kissed him.
Maybe because Xavier was motionless, Grace felt even more uncomfortable. She moved in his arms, calling his name over and over.
He didn't respond, and Grace didn't know what to do.
She felt incredibly uncomfortable and wanted to have sex immediately.
Xavier wasn't much better off. His anger had easily turned into desire, aroused by Grace. But Xavier was never one to take advantage of someone. Grace had been drugged with an aphrodisiac, and she would regret it when she woke up tomorrow if they had sex.
"I'll take you to the hospital," Xavier said, struggling to control himself.
"I don't want to go to the hospital. I want you."
At this moment, Grace didn't even know what she was saying. She just felt her body was excited, and she wanted Xavier.
Although a lot had happened recently, and Grace seemed unaffected on the surface, she had never let go of him in her heart. Now, without rational thought, only her instincts remained.
"Grace, do you know what you're saying?" Xavier's hand was trembling, and Grace's words were testing his self-control.
Grace said, "Xavier, I really like you."
Xavier's mind was filled with a buzzing sound and that one sentence: I really like you.
He could no longer restrain himself. He pressed Grace onto the bed, his fervent kisses showering her body relentlessly.
