Chapter 338 French Kiss for One Minute

Xavier brought Grace to the party and announced her identity, but many people still looked down on Grace from the bottom of their hearts.

Even though Xavier had never brought a woman to these events before, they assumed Grace wouldn't last long.In their circle, everyone was powerful, and each had several women outside. They believed Xavier was just having a fling with Grace.

Those cast disdainful glances at Grace, thinking she was just a joke. But Grace seemed to take herself quite seriously, even daring to confront Stephanie directly.

The bar here was more luxurious than any in Skigeth, with a variety kinds of games to play.

There were quite a few people at the party tonight, and some were playing pool over there.

Stephanie nudged Amara, the woman who had just been insulted by Grace.

"I remember you're really good at pool, even a student of a pool master. Go teach Grace a lesson."

"Honestly, with our status, shouldn't we be above this kind of petty drama?" Amara sighed, idly swirling the ice in her drink. "It seems a bit excessive to go after her like this."

Few girls who were good at pool, especially at Amara's level. She always showed off her skills in front of others, making the men look at her in awe.

"Just go and teach her a lesson. Let her know she's nothing but a country bumpkin who doesn't belong here. She needs to understand the difference between us!" Stephanie ordered.

"Alright, I'll give it a try." Amara nodded

Amara walked up to Grace. "Grace, since you're here, don't just stick to Xavier like a clingy dog. Why not come and play with us?"

Xavier looked up at Amara with a warning in his eyes, making Amara feel a bit flustered but she tried to stay calm.

"Come on, we're not going to bully you. Are you scared?" Amara teased.

Grace stood up. "Alright, come on."

Walking towards Amara, Grace asked, "What do you want to play?"

"They're playing pool. Why don't you join us? But do you even know how to play pool?" Amara asked.

Grace hesitated, recalling the few times Xavier had attempted to teach her. "I know a little," she admitted.

"Perfect!" Amara clapped her hands together, her excitement a touch too loud. "Let's make things interesting. Loser has to French kiss another guy here for a full minute. Anyone but Mr. Montgomery, of course. Deal?"

Grace didn't respond, so Amara continued, "You wouldn't back out, would you?"

"Who am I playing against?" Grace asked.

Amara proudly said, "Me."

Immediately, someone nearby said, "Amara, you're so good at pool. None of us can win. Your teacher is a pool master. Isn't this too much for her?"

"Yeah, you know Xavier brought her, and now you're making her kiss another man."

Amara ignored them. "Well, are you scared?"

Grace said, "I have no problem with it."

Amara was impressed by Grace's fearlessness. Everyone had told Grace how good Amara was, yet Grace still dared to compete with her. Was Grace looking for trouble?

Amara immediately said, "It's settled then. And let me be clear, anyone who backs out after this deserves whatever's coming to them."

Grace picked up a pool cue and tested it out. Amara almost laughed at the sight; Grace didn't even know how to hold a cue properly.

This game was in the bag for Amara.

Grace's phone vibrated slightly, indicating a message. She picked it up to check.

Xavier messaged: [She's a student of a pool master and quite skilled. But I taught you, so don't lose so badly.]

Grace replied: [I'll do my best. If I win, what's my reward?]

Xavier asked:[What do you want?]

Grace typed: [Haven't decided yet. I'll owe you one.]

"Grace, what are you doing? Have you heard what I have just said?" Amara walked over, trying to grab Grace's phone, but Grace pulled it back quickly.

"Let's go." Grace put away her phone and got serious.

"I don't want to bully you, so I'll let you break first," Amara said.

Grace picked up the cue and casually broke. Amara watched, thinking Grace was clearly a novice.

Soon it was Amara's turn. She showed off her skills, and everyone marveled at how good she was, a true student of a pool master.

If anyone here was the best at pool, it was definitely Xavier, followed by Amara.

Everyone considered that Grace would definitely lose, and was just waiting to see the spectacle. They knew Amara and Stephanie were close and were deliberately trying to humiliate Grace.

If Grace lost and had to French kiss another man for a minute, it would be quite a breaking point.

Stephanie smiled, thinking Grace had agreed to this herself. If Grace lost and didn't follow through, everyone would look down on her.

Amara held back a bit, not playing so long, wanting Grace to lose face more times.

Grace looked at her. "Is it my turn already?"

"What do you mean by that?" Amara was annoyed, thinking Grace was mocking her.

Grace picked up the cue, looked at the balls on the table, and started finding angles. She pocketed one, then another.

Everyone was amazed at Grace's luck. How could she pocket balls so casually?

Then Grace made a small mistake and missed a shot. Amara breathed a sigh of relief; Grace wasn't that good after all.

But when it was Amara's turn, she realized that although Grace hadn't pocketed many balls, her balls were blocking Amara's shots, making it impossible for her to play.

After two shots, Amara stopped. It must have been a coincidence. Grace was just a novice; how could she know how to block shots?

After two rounds, Amara had only two balls left, while Grace had several.

But Grace's balls were surrounding Amara's, making her own shots easier.

When it was Grace's turn, she simply said, "I made it."

Grace then quickly pocketed all her balls, leaving only the black ball.

The black ball went in, and Grace won.

No one expected this result. Grace had beaten Amara at pool?

Grace put down the cue. "Go pick someone to French kiss for a minute. That was the bet."

Amara's face turned ugly. She had never expected to lose. She had intended to humiliate Grace.

"French kiss! French kiss!" the crowd chanted, their initial shock replaced with gleeful anticipation. Amara, the queen bee, had been dethroned.

Grace met Amara's gaze, a triumphant smirk playing on her lips. "What's the matter? Don't tell me you're backing out now. After all, you were the one who said…" her voice turned icy, "…that anyone who backs out deserves whatever's coming to them."
