The truth was, everything that happened wasn't a dream for Grace; it was all real.
Xavier had disappeared, and he still hadn't been found.
If she kept stressing out, it would affect the baby she was carrying.
Just then, there was a knock on the hospital room door, and a similarly exhausted Mason walked in.
"Grace, we need to talk."
"Sure, what's up?"
Mason glanced at Sterling, who got the hint. "Don't worry, I'm not interested in DG Group's business, and I don't take advantage of others' misfortunes."
"But when it comes to the Montgomery Group, Mr. Wallace, it would be best if you stepped out."
Sterling, though annoyed, left the room.
"What's going on, Mason? What happened?"
Mason's expression was serious. "Grace, there are some issues with DG Group. The media is all over it, and we can't keep Xavier's situation under wraps anymore. He used to keep things in check, but now, with no one in charge, people are looking to take advantage and carve up DG Group."
"DG Group was Xavier's life's work. He had already arranged for a lawyer and made a will. If anything happened to him, all his assets would be transferred to you. So now, you're the only one who can save DG Group."
A will? When did this happen? How did she not know?
"Xavier isn't even dead, and these people are already eager to divide his assets? Without Xavier, they wouldn't have the lives they have now."
Even though Xavier had vetted these people, everyone has ambitions.

Mason didn't finish, but Grace knew that if she didn't act, DG Group would soon be gone.

After hearing this, Grace knew the situation was urgent. But Xavier hadn't been found yet, and she wanted to wait for him.

"Book me a flight to Oakworth right away. I'll take over DG Group. You keep arranging for people to search for Xavier. I want him to see a complete DG Group when he gets back."
Grace had no choice but to be strong. She had so much to hold up on her own.
She firmly believed that Xavier would be okay and that he would come back.
Grace was soon discharged from the hospital. Sterling was still nagging beside her, "What a mess of a company. If it doesn't work out, just let it go. Grace, you're not in good health, and you're worrying about so much."

"How do you know if you don't try? Didn't you take over the Wallace Group back then?"
"Do you know what I went through during that time, the price I paid?" Sterling said seriously.
Grace replied, "If you could do it, so can I. Xavier built everything from scratch. Wasn't that even harder? I want to try. I have to protect DG Group."
Seeing Grace's determined expression, Sterling felt a pang of sadness but also realized that this was exactly what Grace would say.
She was the kind of person who, the more impossible something seemed, the more she wanted to make it possible.
"Do you know that those people will do anything to fight for power? They might even create accidents to take your life. Do you know how dangerous it is for a young woman to stand against them?" Sterling warned one last time.
Grace knew. She had seen people arrange car accidents or other incidents to seize power.
"I know, but I can't do nothing just because I'm afraid of danger."
Sterling didn't stop her anymore. "If you need anything, call me anytime."
Grace quickly boarded a plane to Oakworth.
On the plane, Grace reviewed all the important projects and department information of DG Group.
She had very little time, but many problems to face, and no way out. She had to handle everything.
After getting off the plane, a lawyer was already waiting for Grace.
"Ms. Lewis, as soon as you sign this, everything under Mr. Montgomery's name will be yours." The lawyer handed over the transfer documents.
