Chapter 052 Head Buried Between His Legs

Xavier looked down at Grace, who was tugging at his pant leg. Her face was red, perhaps from the lack of air circulation under the table.

Her pleading eyes were watery, and even though she had makeup on, her clear eyes and vulnerable appearance made her seem even more pitiable. Somehow, more tempting to tease.

"Mr. Montgomery!" Grace silently mouthed words to him.

Her lips moved, barely audible, "Can you make him leave, please?"

The table was too low, and Grace's legs were numb from squatting, so she had no choice but to kneel on the ground. And as she clung to his pant leg, it was hard for onlookers not to let their thoughts wander.

Xavier's mind flashed back to that night—Grace, in the throes of her period, kneeling before him...

Seeing Xavier's unmoved expression, Grace felt he was doing it on purpose.

He intentionally kept Patrick from leaving, possibly wanting to catch sight of her mishap for his amusement. He knew perfectly well she dared not emerge, that she could only hide there on her knees, steadying herself by clinging to his legs.

All it would have taken for Patrick to leave was a simple word from Xavier, but he stubbornly remained silent.

The more Grace thought about it, the angrier she became, and in her frustration, she bit his knee hard through the fabric of his suit, likely leaving a mark.

Xavier took a deep breath and with a swift movement, he grasped Grace by the chin, displaying his hand chain right before her eyes.

His fingers were beautiful, slender yet well-defined, appearing almost like a sculpture as they held Grace's chin.

To any observer, he seemed aloof, his legs crossed elegantly as if he were a figure in a painting. But the truth was, he was quite devious.

Patrick finished his phone call and, hearing Xavier's voice, asked with concern, "Xavier, what's wrong?"

Just a few steps closer and Patrick would have seen the whole scene.

Xavier then released Grace's chin, withdrew his hand, and said simply, "It's nothing."

Looking down at Grace, he warned her to stay in line.

"I've called Ryan, he'll be over soon to apologize to you," Patrick said apologetically.

Grace deeply regretted her choice to come back and inform him of Patrick's arrival; she wished she'd hidden somewhere else!

If Xavier had kept preventing Patrick from leaving, she might have been trapped there indefinitely.

Her legs were already numb, and no matter how she positioned herself, nothing felt comfortable anymore.

But now she was utterly powerless, with Xavier holding all the control.

Grace couldn't tell if her expressions were inaccurate or if Xavier was simply not getting her message.

She picked up her phone and texted Xavier.

Grace: [Mr. Montgomery, my legs are numb.]

Grace: [Mr. Montgomery, please help me.]

Xavier's phone chimed twice when he checked his messages from Grace.

He smiled faintly, tapped the screen a couple of times, and soon Grace received a reply.

Xavier: [Why should I rescue you?]

Seeing that he refused to lend aid, it seemed Grace had to figure a way out on her own.

If he hadn’t helped her, she couldn't be blamed for what happened next!

She pinched her throat and let out a seductive moan. The study was quiet, so the sound reached Patrick's ears.

"Xavier, did I just hear..." Patrick thought he heard a woman's voice.

"You're mistaken," Xavier said in a hushed tone.

Grace continued to moan softly.

Patrick was certain he hadn't misheard; as a man, he understood perfectly.

But wasn't it unusual for Xavier, who rarely interacted with women? It seemed impossible that there could be a woman there.

"Is there some kind of insect? Xavier, there are lots of bugs in the summer." Patrick leaned over toward Xavier's side as if trying to see something.

Grace immediately snatched Xavier's suit jacket from the table beside them and covered herself with it, then buried her head between his legs.

Grace continued to pretend.

Xavier paused for a moment.

Patrick didn't see the person hiding below. He only saw the suit jacket covering her and the outline of a woman's body, which only stoked his imagination more.

Patrick was startled; he couldn't believe what he was seeing. He hadn't expected Xavier to be... He hadn't expected a woman to be hiding under Xavier's desk! And it seemed as if they were engaged in that sort of act!

On the surface, Xavier seemed very cultured, but in reality...

Patrick thought to himself that Xavier was even bolder than he was.

"Xavier, I didn't know. My timing is poor, and I've interrupted you." As a man, Patrick understood that a little excitement was acceptable, but having it disrupted was another matter entirely.

It's no wonder that Xavier's expression was so serious before, and why he was so cold. Patrick figured Xavier must be annoyed by his presence.

"I'll have Ryan come to apologize to you tomorrow. Youth is wonderful." With that said, Xavier's expression turned even more somber.

Seeing this, Patrick felt afraid; he was sure Xavier was angry, so it was best for him to leave quickly.

Finally, Patrick left, and the door to the study closed behind him. Grace then lifted the suit jacket. She felt like she was about to suffocate.

Finally, Patrick was gone. Otherwise, who knows how long she would have had to stay hidden.

Grace was about to crawl out when Xavier's hand pressed down on her, his expression quite menacing now.

"Are you having fun?" he said.

"It's all your fault. If you had gotten rid of him sooner or hadn't let him in, I wouldn't have had to do this," Grace reasoned.

At least now, Patrick was unlikely to come back. As for what Patrick thought Xavier was doing just now, that was none of her concern.

Xavier looked into her eyes. She had tarnished his reputation and image, and yet she seemed to feel wronged.

Grace crawled out from underneath and felt her breathing ease. The space below had been too cramped and uncomfortable.

After stretching her limbs, Grace decided to leave.

She waved at Xavier, saying, "Mr. Montgomery, see you next time."

However, she hadn't taken more than a few steps before Xavier's arm encircled her waist, pulling her back to him.

Grace's rear pressed against the table, and Xavier's hands braced on either side of her, effectively trapping her in his embrace.

His broad chest loomed over her and an overwhelming pressure that made Grace seem almost vulnerable in comparison.

"You think you can seduce me and then run away?" Xavier's voice was a raspy growl.

The shock of having just her head between his thighs was intense for Grace. In an instant, Xavier felt that a little shamelessness on his part wasn't such a bad thing after all, especially since it was Grace who had brought it upon herself!

"I didn't seduce you," she protested with innocent eyes.

She swore that she honestly hadn't meant to seduce Xavier. Yet, Xavier let out a cold chuckle, his eyes filled with threat.

He gripped her chin again, saying, "You like to bite and kneel between a man's legs, don't you? If I don't do something about it, wouldn't I be letting Patrick misunderstand me for nothing?"
