Chapter 66 Causing Trouble

The store was deserted, even more so than they had imagined.
Soon, the spokesperson, Leroy, also arrived, but his presence didn't attract any customers.
Leroy felt sorry, saying, "I'm sorry, Ms. Lewis, I don't have many fans."
"Just call me Grace. Fans will come later. I believe in you. You have a very clean aura, and you're quite handsome. It's just that your charm hasn't been discovered by the fans yet." Grace reassured him.
"Thank you, you're the first person to think so," Leroy genuinely expressed gratitude.
And he thought Grace thought that he was good; it must be from the heart; otherwise, she would not have asked him to be the spokesperson.
The store was empty, and with insufficient perfume inventory, Grace went live directly, teaching everyone how to blend perfumes.
This was not a field that could be typically involved in, and some people were curious and clicked to watch, but there were only a few people in the live stream.
Because all the perfumes were smashed, the store was filled with perfume, and quite a few people smelled it and came over to take a look.
Grace introduced them to everything in detail, regardless of whether they bought it or not. She was happy as long as they came to see and understand.
However, some people couldn't stand seeing Grace happy, like Madison and Wendy, who walked in.
"People really shop here? You'd actually consider purchasing her perfumes? Is she even licensed to sell these? We have no clue about the quality of these products. Imagine the harm they could do to our skin once applied."
Upon hearing her remarks, several customers returned the perfumes they were examining to the shelf.
"True, I've never come across this brand, and yet the prices are steep!"
"I dare not use it either. Although these fragrances all smell nice and not overpowering, I still wouldn't spray them on myself."
"Let's go. I heard Lewis Group has perfumes over there. They just opened a store and even hired a big celebrity. Let's go and check it out."
"Lewis Group has been a well-established brand for over twenty years, so there must be no problem. Let's go to Lewis Group's store."
Grace looked up and saw Madison with a provocative look on her face.
"What are you looking at? You don't even come over to serve customers when you see them. Is this how your store treats guests? If you treat guests like this, you might as well close down!"
"Madison, how dare you come here?" Angela saw Madison looking for trouble and rolled up her sleeves.
"Why can't I come?" Madison didn't think she did anything wrong.
It was Grace instead who dared to open the store even though it was vandalized.
"Don't play dumb about smashing the store on the eve of someone else's store opening. Why are you so malicious?" Angela scolded.
"What store vandalism? What are you talking about? And even if I did it, so what?"
Madison was the one looking for trouble in the first place, and now she saw Grace displaying perfume again. She immediately picked up the perfume next to her and smashed it on the ground.
"These low-quality products, whether they are smashed or not, the government should thank me."
Madison didn't notice the live stream on the other side, and her every word and action was being broadcast live.
[This person is the Miss of Lewis Group, right? The one called a fragrance blending genius who was accused of plagiarism?]
[Oh my god, she seemed well-mannered on the surface, but I didn't expect her to be such a person in private. This is too much bullying.]
[I knew this store looked unusually quiet. Turns out it was vandalized before the opening. What kind of grudges are involved here?]
Grace glared coldly at Madison. Madison detested nothing more than Grace's penetrating gaze.
Furthermore, she envied Grace. Although they evidently used the same material, Grace somehow managed to concoct a perfume that stood apart from the rest.
The scent and style bore a striking resemblance to Cynthia's as well.
Grace was truly gifted in her sensitivity to fragrances. The title of fragrance prodigy should have belonged to Grace. Madison was consumed with jealousy.
When one bottle was not enough, Madison prepared to grab a second one, but Grace grabbed her hand.
She looked at Madison with icy eyes, gripping her hand and pressing it onto the desk.
Madison winced in pain. "Grace, what do you think you're doing!"
"What do you think I'm doing? If your hands are that mischievous, you might as well not have them!" Grace's eyes were as cold as ice.
Faced with her eyes, Madison trembled in fear, losing all her previous confidence.
"Go ahead, if you dare touch me, my father won't let you off!"
"You're already this old and still relying on your daddy every day. Don't you find that embarrassing?"
"Now, clean up this place and compensate for everything that was broken last night, as you were the one who brought people to smash it. Otherwise, I'll pin you to the ground and make sure all these shards of glass pierce your hands and face."
Madison didn't believe what Grace said, "What last night? What does it have to do with me?"
"Do you think I don't know it was you just because you deny it? Madison, you can disrespect others, but you shouldn't be so malicious. If there's something you want, compete with me openly instead of playing tricks behind my back."
The live stream became more popular due to the discussion, attracting even more viewers. They watched this scene and commented, "Wow, this woman is so fierce and cool."
Angela, who came to help, also walked over. "Grace, I'll help you. This kind of person needs to be taught a lesson. They really think they can bully anyone."
With Angela's help, the two of them pinned Madison to the ground and started piercing her with the glass.
It was no longer a joke. Madison began to feel scared.
But she had never experienced such humiliation before. She struggled. "Grace, let me go!"
As she watched the glass shards on the ground getting closer, the pain of the glass piercing her skin, and the possibility of ruining her appearance, Madison was filled with fear.
What she cared most about was her face, her looks. Seeing Grace being serious, Madison instantly got scared.
"I'll clean, I'll clean, alright."
"Madison, how can you be frightened by a Grace?" Wendy said, frustrated.
They had agreed before coming that today was the day to humiliate Grace and prevent her shop from continuing.
But now, why was Madison still holding a broom and cleaning up for Grace?
Madison cried, "I didn't want to, but this Grace is too much of a bully!"
Wendy didn't want to admit she had such an embarrassing friend, so she turned and left.
Seeing Wendy leave, Madison also dropped the broom and followed after her, saying, "Wait for me, Wendy."
"What are you doing? Are you planning to leave after cleaning up?" Grace stopped her.
"Move aside." Madison tried to push her.
Grace looked at her hand. "Don't want your hand anymore?"
Madison quickly retracted her hand and angrily resumed cleaning, eventually even mopping the floor.
Grace brought out the bill and had Madison pay and sign it.
Madison looked at the bill. "One million dollars, are you crazy?"
