Chapter 527 Taylor Tricks Grace into Coming Home
"Grace, you..." Xavier's pupils trembled slightly.
After all, Grace rarely took the initiative in such matters; it was usually Xavier who was forceful.
"Don't want to?" Grace pulled Xavier's neck closer.
"Too late." With that, Grace bit Xavier's neck and then kissed his lips again.
If Xavier held back any longer, he would be doing himself a disservice.
Xavier wrapped his arms around Grace's waist. Despite being unable to hold back any longer, he was still careful not to hurt the baby.
The room was filled with an intimate and ambiguous atmosphere, with the shadows of two entwined figures reflected on the walls by the light.
Xavier really didn't want to go on a business trip, but the matters abroad required his personal attention.
No matter how reluctant he was, he had to leave.
Jared had been keeping an eye on Xavier's movements. As soon as Xavier left Skigeth, Jared spread the news to Daniel. Daniel saw his opportunity and urged Taylor to make sure Grace was brought over before Xavier returned!
Taylor called Grace and asked her to come back to the Lewis Mansion.
"Why should I come back?" Grace asked coldly.
Taylor said, "Your dad is sick, and you won't even come back to see him? How could he have a daughter like you? You're really ungrateful."
Zach wasn't her father at all, and even if he was, their father-daughter relationship had long since ended.
Zach had previously said that he was severing their father-daughter relationship, and from then on, Grace was no longer part of the Lewis family.
"You never treated me as family before, and now you think of me?" Grace retorted coldly.
"When did we not treat you as family? Did we ever abuse you? Without us, would you have grown up? Do you even know how much money you've spent over the years? You're really ungrateful!"
Taylor had never liked Grace, not even when they were kids.
"How much money did I spend growing up?" Grace asked.
Taylor said, "You didn't spend a little, did you? It must have been tens of millions of dollars, right?"
"Tens of millions of dollars? You must be joking. Zach barely gave me any living expenses. Since college, I've been earning my own tuition. If they spent $200,000 on me, that would be generous." Grace couldn't believe Taylor's shamelessness.
When she was little and wanted to buy something, Taylor and Zach would say, "Why buy such useless things?"
But for Madison and Brittany, they got over $200,000 in pocket money every month.
"How could it not be tens of millions of dollars? Do you think raising a child is cheap?"
Grace said, "Fine, $10 million. I'll transfer it to Zach's account. Consider your parenting debt repaid."
With that, Grace hung up the phone. Taylor was still shouting, "Grace? Grace?"
But Taylor hadn't finished speaking. Grace had really grown a backbone, thinking she could sever ties with just $10 million.
Daniel was willing to offer $50 million.
Grace was really hard to deal with now. When Taylor called again, Grace blocked her number.
Taylor had no choice but to think of other ways. She even secretly followed Grace.
When she first saw Grace, she couldn't believe it was her.

Grace's looks were so stunning that even Taylor felt jealous. No wonder Grace could captivate someone like Xavier and make Daniel so eager for her, saying she was incredibly beautiful.
Grace had been hiding her beauty from them all along.
Taylor had lived with Grace for over a decade and never knew she was so beautiful.
But there was always a man with Grace whom Taylor had never seen before. He was tall and handsome, and they seemed very close, with a great relationship.
Wasn't Grace supposed to be with Xavier?
As soon as Xavier left, Grace couldn't wait to mess around with another man?
Did Xavier know about this?
Grace and Scott had dinner together and returned to the Coleman Mansion. Taylor had no chance to act and had to wait.
Jared had been watching closely and knew Scott was also a problem.
He had to find a way to get rid of Scott too.
But dealing with Scott wasn't easy. The Coleman family had Steven and Thomas handling matters abroad, and Scott was in the country, along with Chase.
However, Jared found a weak spot. Scott had recently been getting close to another woman, Angela.
If they targeted Angela and found a way to get Scott out of the picture, it would be much easier.
Angela also ran a fashion studio, so she occasionally had business trips.
With everything interconnected, there was an opportunity.
One day, Grace and Scott had dinner together, and Grace's phone rang. It was an unfamiliar number.
Grace answered, and Taylor's voice came through.
"Grace, it's me."
"I've already transferred the money. What else do you want?" Grace felt uncomfortable just hearing Taylor's voice.
"Nothing much. I was just cleaning the house and found some of your mother's belongings. Do you want them? If not, I'll throw them away."
"My mother's belongings? That's impossible. I took everything."
Taylor said, "How would I know? I just found them. If you don't want them, I'll throw them away."
"How much do you want? I'll send someone to get my mom's things." Grace thought Taylor was trying to get money from her.
She knew the Lewis family was struggling, and Taylor must have her own agenda. Now that she was calling about the belongings, she must have a motive.
"I don't need your money. Come get them yourself. If you're not here within an hour, I'll throw them away."
"I'll send someone else."
"You want someone else to get your mom's things? They must not be that important to you. I might as well throw them away."
"Wait, how do I know you really have my mom's things?"
Taylor said, "I'll send you a photo. You can see for yourself. One hour. If you're not here, I'll throw them away."
Taylor quickly sent a photo. Grace saw the items in the photo and recognized Elizabeth's necklace and earrings, which Elizabeth had worn and Grace had been looking for. She wondered why she couldn't find them before; they were with Taylor.
It seemed she had to go to the Lewis Mansion.
But Taylor was in such a hurry to get her there, Grace felt it wouldn't be that simple.
