Chapter 269 I'll Divorce Her and Marry You
Amy said, "My dear son, what has Grace done to enchant you so much? What’s so good about her?""I heard Grace and Kelly used to be best friends. They’re both the same kind of trash. Look at what they’ve done to you, and you’re still thinking about Grace."
Amy felt heartbroken. She couldn't fathom how such an excellent person like Ryan be ruined by two trashy women like Grace and Kelly.
"Mom, I just can't tolerate that. Grace was my fiancée, and now she's with Xavier. Xavier is my uncle, and he stole my girlfriend. I won't let them be happy together!" Ryan shouted, clenching his fists tightly.
"Why should they live comfortably while I'm stuck in this hospital? If I must suffer, they shall not find peace either!“
Ryan remembered that Xavier had a girlfriend in Oakworth.
What would happen if that woman found out that Grace was shamelessly messing around with Xavier?
She would probably come after Grace and turn everything upside down.
If he couldn't live well, he wouldn't let Grace and Xavier live well either.
Ryan had an idea. He planned to give Grace one more chance.
"Mom, can you help me find out where Grace is? I want to talk to her again. Her mother's ashes are still with Dad, right? She will definitely agree to be with me. I don't want to marry Kelly," Ryan said.
Amy looked at Ryan, feeling heartbroken. "Ryan, you're muddled."
"Mom, I know what I'm doing. Don't worry. I'm not a child anymore," Ryan said.
Amy had someone find out where Grace was, and soon, she got the news that Grace was also in the hospital.
"I heard Xavier is also hospitalized, and Grace is taking care of him," Amy said.
"What?" Ryan almost jumped up upon hearing that.
"Xavier has the nerve to be hospitalized? Which ward is he in? Why is Grace taking care of him and not me?" Ryan said with infuriation.
Ryan turned over, determined to seek out Grace, and no one could stop him.
Amy had no choice but to chase after him. "Ryan, Ryan."
In Xavier's ward, he was receiving an IV in his right hand, making it difficult to eat. His hand holding the spoon was trembling.
Unable to stand it anymore, Grace took the spoon from Xavier's hand. "Let me do it. Open your mouth."
Xavier opened his mouth and ate the food Grace fed him, looking thoroughly pleased.
Grace's movements were gentle, and she blew on the porridge to cool it before feeding it to Xavier.
The door to the ward was suddenly violently opened. Ryan pushed the door open and saw the scene inside.
"Don't you think you've gone too far?" Ryan pointed at Grace and Xavier.
He felt deeply betrayed, as if he had been mocked. The mere thought of Grace and Xavier being intimate filled him with a deep sense of anguish. It was particularly distressing since those involved were his own uncle and his fiancée.
"Ryan, if you have something to say, take it outside," Grace said with a cold expression, not wanting Ryan to disturb Xavier's rest.
Besides, she and Ryan were already broken up. Ryan had no right to control her.
If anyone was being excessive, didn't Ryan think he was being more excessive?
"Why should I say it outside? Are you too ashamed to admit the shameless things you've done?" Ryan was unreasonable now.
Xavier's face darkened, and his voice was low but clear. "You haven't broken your legs, and you can still talk, so you can still go crazy here, right?"
Every time Xavier spoke, Ryan felt immense pressure.
What did this mean? Was Xavier planning to do something to him privately?
Ryan had been ambushed before and was traumatized. He immediately became cowardly.
"Threatening people is no skill." Ryan softened significantly.
Xavier said, "If you have the skill, you can threaten me too."
Ryan certainly didn't have that skill. If he could successfully take down Xavier, he would have done it long ago.
But Xavier was different. Not only could he break his limbs, but he could also arrange an accident to take his life without any traces.
"Grace, I have something to say to you." Ryan said.
Xavier held onto Grace, not wanting her to talk to Ryan alone, fearing she would suffer.
"Get to the point," Xavier said.
However, Grace patted his hand, making Xavier let go.
She said to Ryan, "Fine, let's talk outside."
"I want to go too." Xavier tried to get up from the bed.
Grace pressed him down. "What are you going to do? Stay put. If I come back and find you not lying down properly, I won't visit you tomorrow."
"What if he tries to hurt you?" Xavier asked.
"Aren't you here? Just ask him if he dares." Grace said.
Ryan fell silent.
Could Grace and Xavier stop flirting as if no one else was around? He was still here!
Ryan felt extremely irritated and left the room. He didn't want to see this scene.
Grace quickly came out. Facing Ryan, she was expressionless, completely different from when she was with Xavier.
"What do you want to say?" Grace asked.
Ryan said, "Grace, I really like you."
"I was wrong before. I promise I'll change in the future. I know you're enchanted by Xavier now, but I don't mind. I can forgive you."
Grace laughed. It was the first time she had seen someone as shameless as Ryan. She said, "Ryan, did you come here just to say this?"
"If I'm not mistaken, you should be marrying Kelly, right? She's carrying your only child."
Ryan said, "Don't worry. After Kelly gives birth, I'll divorce her. Then I'll marry you, okay? I don't like her. Even if I were to marry her, it would all be a facade of insincerity. You can't have children for me now, so I have to keep her child, but I fall for you."
"Ryan, you better stop talking. You're making me sick!" Grace was about to vomit.
Despite being aware of Ryan's character, his words always shocked her even more.
Ryan's face turned cold. "Grace, I'm respecting you so I talk to you nicely. Don't forget your mother's ashes are still at my house!"
