Chapter 116 Grace Unexpectedly Pushes him to Another Woman

"Who let you in!" Xavier repeated his words just now.

But the chill in his words made Jessica shiver.
Jessica opened her mouth but dared not speak, sensing that murderous intent, while Xavier could make people speechless with just a glance.

Jessica didn't dare to meet Xavier's eyes at all. She took a step back and said, "It was Grace."
"I said I didn't make plans with you, and then Grace took the initiative to help me out and invited you." Jessica didn't dare to admit her actions and instead shifted all the blame onto Grace.

"Get lost!" Xavier's expression was very unpleasant. He thought Grace was the one who invited him tonight.

"Xavier, I really like you. I am the most outstanding woman in Skigeth. Just look at me, take a good look at me, and you'll see how beautiful I am! Or tell me your preference, and I can be that for you. I can do anything for you." Jessica had never been so humble.

She had always been a proud and mighty lady, ignoring other men who stood before her. The only person who had ever moved her was Xavier.

"Didn't you understand what I said yesterday?" Xavier's face turned cold, his voice freezing.

"I understood, but I still want to try. Grace said I should boldly pursue you." This was what Grace said during the day. If she truly liked Xavier, she should be straightforward.

"Grace told you to pursue me?" Xavier bit out these words fiercely. His gaze intensified, exuding more hostility. Grace actually wanted to push him toward another woman! What did Grace think he was! Xavier was furious.

"Yes, it was Grace who sent me and said she would help me get you."

"Jessica Cole, if there's a next time, I will make you the first joke in Skigeth. If you don't believe me, you can try!" Xavier's words were full of threats, and Jessica knew he wasn't bluffing.

Offending Xavier was rumored to lead to a thousand ways to die.
"Why is it that when I invite you, you say you're busy, but when Grace sends a text, you come running? Why? She's just Ryan's fiancée!" Jessica was still perplexed.

Indeed, Grace was Ryan's fiancée. Xavier shouldn't have come here just because of a text.

There was even a faint scent on Xavier, a fragrance Grace would recognize as their first meeting. It was the perfume Grace had given Xavier.

"Get lost!" Xavier said directly.
"I didn't mean that, I was just saying Grace, she..."
"Get lost!" Xavier's voice was like that of a raging beast.

Jessica was terrified and dared not stay, so she left in a panic, wearing her high heels.

Grace had just finished showering and came out of the bathroom, only wrapped in a towel because no one had disturbed her, intending to dry her hair and go to bed. She had been sleep-deprived these past few days and planned to leave the resort in two or three days.

Grace had long, naturally wavy hair, thick like seaweed. Suddenly, she heard an urgent knocking at the door.
Her heart skipped a beat. It was only 8 o'clock; who could be looking for her now?
No one should know where she was staying; Ryan hadn't even found out where she was staying.

Grace walked to the door and saw Xavier outside through the crack who was still wearing a suit late at night, with his hair looked meticulously styled, as if he were going to an important appointment.

But Grace had just showered and was only in a towel, with her face showing her true self, not the usual Grace with heavy makeup.
She couldn't open the door! She definitely couldn't let Xavier see her. Pretending not to be in the room wouldn't work either, as the room's lights were on and visible from outside.

Grace planned to send Xavier a message, saying she wasn't available and asking if they could talk on the phone. But before she could even type a word, Xavier lost his patience.

Xavier was the owner of this resort, and in his view, Grace must have done something wrong if she didn't dare to open the door. Besides, his room key could open all the locks in the resort. Xavier swiped the key, and the door opened.

Grace hadn't expected Xavier to be able to open the door. She couldn't hide in time and could only turn off the room's lights the moment Xavier entered. When Xavier opened the door, he saw Grace's figure, then darkness enveloped them, with only the light from outside.

"Xavier, why are you here? Is there something wrong?" Grace's voice came.

Based on the sound, Xavier immediately pinpointed Grace's location.

Grace only smelled a hint of her own fragrance, as if it were the perfume she had blended. The next moment, a large hand grabbed her neck.

Xavier closed the door with one hand, pushing Grace against it. "Why did you do this?"
Xavier's voice was ominous, even in the darkness, Grace could feel his anger.

Grace felt somewhat innocent. "What do you mean? I haven't done anything to provoke you. The last time I saw you was in the restaurant, and I haven't bothered you privately."

Grace was very clear that she had never wanted to disturb Xavier's life or gain anything from him as his sexual partner.

Xavier sneered, pressing his fingers hard, making it difficult for Grace to breathe. "You pushed me toward another woman. I want to know what you mean by that!"

Grace couldn't understand. What did it mean to push Xavier toward another woman? Did it refer to Jessica?
"I didn't do it. Jessica did want your number, but I didn't give it to her."

"Don't pretend." Xavier was obvious not believing.

Grace was truly frightened by Xavier's demeanor, lowing her voice, trying to please him. "Xavier, you're so handsome, with a good figure and skills in bed. How could I possibly give you to Jessica?" Then she added, "So what's going on? Could it be that Jessica deceived you?"

"Didn't you invite me to watch the stars at the Peak Pavilion?" Xavier retorted.

If Xavier was deceived, it was by Grace, the messenger of the message. The evidence was clear.

"When?" Grace was taken aback. She hadn't invited Xavier to watch the stars.
"Do you think I would slander you?"

"Xavier, there must be some misunderstanding." When Grace called Xavier's name, her voice was soft and sweet, like honey.

Xavier's throat rolled, especially in the darkness where he couldn't see Grace's face, so her voice resonated in his mind.

Xavier reached out to turn on the light, but Grace heard him and immediately held his hand. "Don't turn on the light."
