Chapter 516 Date on the Sea
The weekend arrived quickly, and Grace and Xavier had planned to go out to sea together.
Last time, Grace missed the appointment because of Chase.
This time, she was determined not to miss it and had been preparing early.
The weather in Skigeth had always been good, and now it was early summer, so dresses were already possible. Grace was worried about the wind on the sea, so she put on a thin jacket.
Grace dressed very casually. The curve of her belly wasn't very noticeable, and a jacket could completely cover it. She tied her hair in a high ponytail and wore white sneakers, looking just like a high school student, young and pure.
Today's weather was indeed perfect for going out. Xavier soon arrived downstairs to pick her up.
Xavier usually wore a suit every day, and today was no exception, but she felt that Xavier looked especially handsome today.
His hair was combed back, revealing a full forehead, and his meticulously sculpted face was incredibly handsome!
Every time Grace looked at him, she felt her heart flutter a little more. Just Xavier's face alone could charm countless people.
Moreover, Grace could feel that Xavier was in a very good mood today, perhaps because they were going out to play.
"Let's have breakfast first." Xavier had brought food with him, which he had made himself that morning.
As he got closer, Grace could smell a faint fragrance on him, different from his usual scent.
"Did you put on cologne?" Grace asked.
"Yes, it's from your company." Xavier had bought it himself from the counter.
Grace felt a bit embarrassed that Xavier was using their company's product.
"If you need cologne, just tell me, I'll make it for you, Mr. Montgomery's exclusive edition!"
"Those might contain chemicals that aren't good for your body right now." Xavier didn't want Grace to handle these things at the moment.
"What are you thinking? Do you think Iris is a shady company? Our perfumes don't contain harmful chemicals. All the ingredients are extracted from real flowers, ensuring the products are very clean."
Grace's strictest requirement for Iris was the materials. She didn't allow the use of synthetic fragrances; she used the real deal.
Besides collaborating with flower shops, Grace cultivated many of the flowers herself. In the suburbs, there was a flower farm where Grace had people plant various kinds of flowers.
"Alright, then all my cologne will be made by you from now on."
"No problem!"
Grace and Xavier finished their breakfast together and then set off to have fun.
It took some time to get to the dock, but Xavier didn't seem to be in a hurry.
He didn't go directly to the dock but took Grace around the city first.
The weather was really nice today, with blue skies and white clouds, looking almost unreal.
It wasn't until after lunch that Xavier drove to the dock.
The sea was so blue, stretching as far as the eye could see, with seagulls circling and calling.
A yacht was docked there, not as luxurious as a cruise ship but much more luxurious than an ordinary yacht.
As they approached, someone came over and said, "Honorable Mr. Montgomery, if you need anything, you can call us from the yacht cabin. Have a pleasant trip."
Xavier held Grace's hand as they went inside. Grace asked, "Is this rented or did you buy it?"
"Bought it." Xavier was very wealthy.
To be precise, it was custom-made.
This amount of money was nothing to Xavier.
"Do you know how to drive it?" Grace noticed that no one was there to drive, and it seemed like Xavier wanted to drive it himself.
Xavier said, "I don't. You teach me."
"How do you know I can? What if I can't?" Grace actually knew a bit.
After all, Skigeth was by the sea, and they had many opportunities to go out to sea.
She had learned a bit before with Angela.
"I think you can."
Grace actually had many skills. She was so good at racing that her level was beyond ordinary people.
Xavier actually knew how to drive but pretended not to.
Grace walked over, "If I capsize the boat, we'll both fall into the water."
Xavier didn't mind, "If I die with you, I'm willing."
"Let's not talk about death." Grace felt it was bad luck and pulled Xavier to retract their words.
Xavier mimicked her, but instead of being funny, it was endearing.
When you really like someone, you're willing to do all the childish things with them.
Grace rolled up her sleeves and got ready to show her skills. When she got serious, it was as if she was glowing.
The sunlight wasn't too harsh now, and the breeze was very comfortable.
She pushed the throttle and gear lever into position, then turned on the circuit switch and pressed the button, and the yacht started.
Even though it had been a while, Grace was still familiar with it.
"It's actually very simple. Just push here and press here, and you can control it. But be careful of the direction. Don't get too close to the reefs and small islands over there." Grace taught Xavier, and they formed a harmonious and beautiful picture.
Grace didn't notice the flashing cameras recording this beautiful moment.
Xavier custom-made the yacht, which could be set to autopilot mode. Once the route was set, they didn't need to drive manually.
This way, they could enjoy themselves.
Grace and Xavier lay on beach chairs on the yacht. The yacht moved slowly, just right to enjoy the scenery.
Maybe it was too comfortable, and Grace accidentally fell asleep. Xavier didn't disturb her and just watched her quietly.
Everything was so beautiful that Xavier couldn't help but take out his phone and secretly take several photos of Grace.
He even leaned over, kissed her lips, and then smiled, gently stroking her cheek.
Just looking at her made his heart race, and this racing was filled with contentment.
"Xavier!" Grace woke up from a nightmare.
Her forehead was covered in cold sweat, and she was breathing heavily.
She had just had a nightmare where she saw Xavier falling off the yacht's deck.
She tried to grab Xavier's hand but couldn't hold on, and Xavier disappeared before her eyes, as if falling into an abyss.
She was breathing heavily and looked around but didn't see Xavier.
She quickly sat up, "Xavier, Xavier!"
Xavier was inside the yacht, making fresh juice for Grace. Hearing her call, he quickly put down his work and said, "What's wrong? I'm here."
Hearing his voice, Grace immediately ran over and hugged him tightly.
She pressed her face against his chest, listening to his heartbeat.
