Chapter 476 Xavier, My Dear
The Montgomery Mansion.
It was already dark, and The Montgomery Mansion was pitch black.
Wendy returned from the hospital, turned on the living room light, and saw Ryan sitting there.
Ryan's eyes were empty and lifeless, as if he had aged twenty years in an instant.
"Ryan, why are you sitting here without turning on the light?" Wendy turned on the light, but Ryan remained motionless.
"I went to the hospital to see Dad. The doctor said if you don't treat him, Ryan, no matter what, he is still our father. If we don't treat him, his life will be ruined."
Mentioning Patrick, Ryan finally moved, "Does he deserve to be called a father?"
"Hasn't he ruined my life? He never liked you much since we were kids; he only liked me. Why do you still care about him?" Ryan asked.
Wendy didn't want to care either, but Patrick was still her father. How could she watch him like this?
"No matter what, you are still his son."
Ryan sneered, "He did such a thing, he never considered me his son. He's brought this upon himself. He and Kelly had an affair behind my back. I can't even say it out loud. Even if he gets better, do you think Xavier will let him go easily? It's better not to treat him, let him stay like this for the rest of his life!"
Thinking of Patrick, Ryan felt he was a bastard.
He even wanted Kelly to have a child. It would be better to go completely crazy and end the Montgomery family line.
Ryan went upstairs, and Kelly was still thrown in the guest room.
This room was where Patrick and Kelly had their numerous affairs.
Ryan went in and grabbed Kelly by the neck, "You two had an affair behind my back and even got pregnant. You deserve to die!"
Ryan squeezed hard, and the veins on Kelly's neck bulged.
Just as she was about to suffocate, Ryan let go, "Dying won't be that easy."
The next second, he slapped Kelly across the face, "You bitch, you bitch!"
Kelly laughed, "Ryan, you useless man, you can't do anything right. You're just a loser. You're the most pathetic person in the world."
Seeing Kelly like this, Ryan kicked her in the stomach, "You're the pathetic one, you damn woman!"
He kicked her hard, and Kelly's stomach hurt so much that red blood started to flow out.
Ryan wasn't satisfied, "Do you think you can have a Montgomery family child? Dream on!"
After venting for a while, Ryan finally left.
Kelly lay on the ground, her stomach in pain.
"Ryan, don't go. Take me to the hospital!"
Kelly's cries echoed behind him, but Ryan didn't look back.
The blood kept flowing, and Kelly knew she couldn't keep the baby in her belly.
She endured the pain and laughed loudly, like a madwoman.
Ryan came downstairs and didn't stop; he continued to walk outside.
"Ryan, where are you going?" Wendy was still downstairs.
This family was completely ruined.
Patrick was now in the hospital, with nothing left but his life. His future was uncertain.
Amy was also hospitalized from anger and was still unconscious.
The Montgomery Group was in chaos, with various partners calling to terminate contracts, and countless media outlets. Even outside the hospital and The Montgomery Mansion, many people were waiting.
The Montgomery Group's stock was in freefall, with no hope of recovery in just one day.
Now, the internet was flooded with news about the Montgomery family, making it the most sensational news.
Ryan walked out the front door, and despite it being midnight, countless people surrounded him.
As soon as Ryan stepped out, they swarmed him.
"Mr. Montgomery, do you have anything to say about today's events? Is this karma?"
"Did you know nothing about your father's affair with your wife? What about your wife's child? Do you plan to keep it?"
"Mr. Montgomery, say something."
The media held their microphones, eager to get the first headline.
"Get lost!" Ryan pulled out a knife, ready to slash anyone who dared to approach.
The topic of Ryan attacking people on the street quickly became a hot topic.
Those people didn't want to die, so they naturally didn't dare to come closer.
Ryan drove away, not knowing where to go, not even knowing if there was a place for him in this world.
Now, the whole world was laughing at him; everyone knew about the Montgomery family's scandal.
"Follow him." Seeing Ryan leave, they quickly followed.
But they followed too closely, and Ryan sped up, eventually crashing into a roadside tree.
The media panicked, "It's not our fault, he crashed on his own."
But Ryan's car accident wasn't serious, and he was quickly taken to the hospital.
The next day, Grace woke up in Xavier's arms.
But Xavier woke up before her, looking at her with a burning gaze.
"Good morning, Mr. Montgomery."
Grace's sleepy eyes were hazy.
Her red lips parted and closed, making Xavier's Adam's apple bob, and his mischievous side surfaced.
"Call me darling."
Grace was stunned by Xavier's words.
"Isn't that inappropriate? Are you sure you want me to call you that?"
"Get used to it."
Grace rolled her eyes, "I need to get up."
Grace sat up, and Xavier hugged her waist, snuggling closer.
"Sleep a little longer."
"I can't sleep anymore."
"But I don't want to let go."
Grace's heart pounded. Was Xavier acting cute?
She quickly picked up her phone to capture the moment.
"Taking a sneaky photo of me?"
Grace admitted openly, "Yes, so what? Can't I?"
Grace added, "If you ever do something to make me angry, I'll post these online for everyone to see what you're really like in private."
"Sure, take as many photos as you want. Should I take off more clothes?"
Grace was shocked.
"I'm a decent person!"
Xavier said, "I'm not that decent."
He took the phone from Grace's hand, aimed the camera at them, and took several photos.
Then Xavier cupped Grace's chin and kissed her, taking several more photos.
But Xavier didn't stop. In a hoarse voice, he continued, "If you want to use these photos to threaten me and make DG Group's stock plummet, it might be difficult. How about I leave more evidence, like Kelly?"
Grace knew he was doing it on purpose. Even if Xavier was willing, she wasn't.
"No, don't, Xavier, please, don't take any more photos." Grace pleaded, calling him darling to appease him.
Unexpectedly, Xavier became even more unrestrained upon hearing it.
How could calling him darling make Xavier more aggressive? Didn't he like hearing it? Wasn't her appeasement enough?
Her pants were almost off, and Grace bit her lip in embarrassment, her voice small, "Baby."
"What did you call me?" Xavier paused.
Grace saw him stop and thought she had a chance. Her clear eyes blinked, "Baby!"
