Chapter 443 Angela's Boyfriend Cheated
"I'm fine," Dorian tried to prop himself up.
He rubbed his head, feeling a wave of discomfort.
It seemed like there was something he couldn't grasp, as if he had forgotten something, but he had never experienced memory loss before.
This feeling was indescribable, and Dorian didn't want to worry Jane.
Although he and Jane had been married for many years, he didn't have any romantic feelings for her. His parents arranged their marriage, and he just accepted it.
Jane was also very cooperative. In front of others, she always pretended to be very affectionate with him.
So their loving relationship was known almost worldwide.
"Who did you see today?" Jane asked cautiously.
Dorian shook his head and closed his eyes. "You should go out first. I want to rest for a while."
Jane bit her lip and reluctantly agreed. "Okay."
After leaving the hospital room, Jane went outside the hospital and found a secluded spot. She took out her phone and made a call.
It took a while for the call to connect, and a man's voice came through. "This is rare. What made you think of calling me?"
"Jared, do you know a woman who looks a lot like Elizabeth?" Jane looked around and then asked.
"Who?" Jared was clearly taken aback.
"Her name is Grace," Jane remembered the name.
Jared said, "I know her. How do you know about her? She's in Country C, Skigeth. I investigated her before; she has no connection to Elizabeth."
His last birthday party was held in Skigeth, and Xavier had brought Grace along. He was surprised by Grace's eyes at that time.
He had investigated then and found that Grace had grown up in Skigeth, and her mother was not Elizabeth.
Jane breathed a sigh of relief. "That's good."
"Why, did you see her?"
"Yes, she's Robert's friend. Have you been keeping an eye on the Coleman family's movements lately? I heard they all went to Country C recently."
"I've been in Country A, so I'm not sure. Didn't I ask you to keep an eye on them?"
Jared's voice came through.
"I haven't had the time, and the Coleman family has always been very discreet. I just found out that Dorian has already met Grace. He's been a bit unsettled these past few days. If he really regains his previous memories, both you and I are done for. The Coleman family won't spare you either!" Jane whispered.
On the other end, Jared frowned tightly. "I know. I'll look into it. Elizabeth was poisoned back then; she couldn't possibly be alive now."
The fear was that she might have been pregnant when she left, and if she had left behind a child...
"You'd better hurry and make sure there are no loose ends."
Jane hung up the phone but had a bad feeling.
The events of that year were too complicated, and it was all Elizabeth's fault for standing in her way.
If Elizabeth hadn't died, she could never have become a princess. It was all Elizabeth's fault!
The next day, Grace and Scott boarded a private jet to Skigeth.
After more than ten hours, the plane landed, and Grace felt more comfortable being back home.
Maybe it was because she had grown up here; she felt a stronger connection to this place.
Skigeth was indeed a wonderful city, with mountains and sea, and a very comfortable climate year-round. No wonder Elizabeth had chosen this place.
Angela was the happiest to know that Grace was coming back.
Angela had originally planned to pick Grace up at the airport, but Grace said it wasn't necessary and that she would go directly to Angela's place.
She also asked Angela to wait for her at her home. Angela said, "Then I'll go buy some groceries and wait for you to come back."
After getting off the plane and collecting their luggage, Grace and Scott prepared to head back.
Meanwhile, the Turner family had just returned home from a trip abroad. Edith saw Grace and a tall man beside her, talking and looking very close.
She quickly grabbed Ainsley's hand. "Mom, look, isn't that man Angela's boyfriend?"
Ainsley looked over, and indeed it was!
The last time she arranged a blind date for Angela, Angela personally admitted that the man was her boyfriend.
"He's actually dating another woman. Look at how beautiful that woman is. Is she his mistress?"
They didn't know that the woman was Grace, nor did they seek the relationship between Scott and Grace.
Ainsley told her husband and Omari to put away their things, said she and Edith were going to the restroom, and then walked straight towards Grace.
"How dare you cheat on my daughter!" Ainsley raised her hand and slapped Scott across the face.
The situation happened so quickly that neither Grace nor Scott had time to react.
Although Ainsley didn't like Angela, she couldn't tolerate Angela's boyfriend dating someone else.
Edith was naturally pleased. Just look at the kind of boyfriend Angela had found! However, this woman was so beautiful; her face was flawless, and her skin looked smooth and perfect, which made Edith feel jealous.
Scott's face darkened. He recognized Ainsley as Angela's mother.
Grace naturally knew Ainsley and Edith. She didn't understand why they had hit Scott.
"What are you doing?"
"What do you think? This is my daughter's boyfriend, and he's cheating!" Ainsley was furious.
Grace didn't know who Ainsley's daughter was. She looked at Edith in surprise. "Is he your boyfriend?"
When did Scott become Edith's boyfriend?
"Of course not," Edith denied. Why did this woman's voice sound so familiar?
If it wasn't Edith, then it must be Angela!
Grace looked at Scott in shock. When did he become Angela's boyfriend? Why didn't she know about this?
"Apologize to me!" Scott said with a stern face. No one would be happy about being slapped for no reason.
"Apologize? You're cheating, and I have to apologize? I don't know why Angela chose you to spite me. You're a penniless nobody, and you dare to mess around. Even if I beat you to death today, it wouldn't be too much."
Grace was stunned. Scott was Angela's boyfriend, and he was a penniless nobody.
The Coleman family had assets far exceeding the Turner family's. How could Ainsley say such a thing?
"Cheating? I'm not even Angela's..."
Before Scott could finish, Grace interrupted him. "I don't know what's going on here, but you must be mistaken. This is my brother."
She knew Scott would deny it, but if Angela had told her family she had a boyfriend and it was Scott, Scott's denial would expose them. Grace had to help Angela.
Ainsley looked embarrassed. "How do I know if you're telling the truth? I'm going to video call my daughter."
With that, Ainsley dialed the video call.
