Chapter 112 Can you help me arrange a meeting with Xavier

Edith had been holding a grudge in her heart as she left.
Angela never said anything about the things Edith usually did to her. Grace, as an outsider, had no right to meddle in their affairs, especially revealing the truth to Omari.
Sooner or later, Edith had to teach Grace a lesson!

Glancing down, Edith saw the message from Jessica: [Is Xavier really at the resort?]

Edith replied: [Of course, I just saw Xavier and Grace having breakfast together. Jessica, come quickly. I think Grace has ulterior motives. She was very intimate with Xavier just now.]

Edith deliberately said this to make Jessica come and deal with Grace together.

Jessica: [Grace and Xavier? Isn't she Ryan's girlfriend?]
Edith: [Who knows, she probably saw how outstanding Xavier is and lost interest in Ryan.]
Edith continued to message: [Jessica, I have always felt that in this world, only you are worthy of Xavier. You two are simply a perfect match made in heaven.]
These words were very useful to Jessica. She replied: [Got it, I'll come over soon.]

'By then, she would tell Xavier it was a coincidence, and since the resort was by the sea, she would be in a bikini. When Xavier saw her figure, he would surely be captivated.' Jessica had already dreamed about the scene run into Xavier.

Grace returned to her room and decided not to go out again.
There were too many people here, like Madison, the Turner family, Ryan, none of whom Grace wanted to see.
Grace preferred to stay in her room, avoiding running into those people outside.

Angela sent a message: [Grace, thank you. You are always my best friend!]

Grace found it strange seeing these words. Why was Angela suddenly saying these things?
She immediately called Angela, "Angela, why are you saying this all of a sudden? We have always been best friends."

Angela answered the phone quickly, "I heard from Omari that when you ran into Edith when had breakfast with him. She said something unpleasant. You helped me retaliate. Omari even asked me if Edith had bullied me before."

Grace replied, "I didn't say anything specific. I know you didn't want Omari to know. I just mentioned that Edith was causing trouble behind your back, without specifying what it was. Don't blame me."

"Why would I blame you? Thank you, I'll treat you to a big meal when you come back!" Angela said with pleasure.
Grace sensed from Angela's tone that everything was fine. She agreed, "Okay, then I want Tapas!"
"Tapas doesn't count as a big meal. Choose whatever you like," Angela chuckled.
Grace thought for a moment. "How about Foie Gras?"
Angela replied with a smile, "Great!"

After that, Grace buried herself to work in room again.
She was too busy at noon and didn't even have time to eat. It wasn't until it was dark outside that Grace finished her work and realized it was already late.
Stretching lazily, her stomach growled. After having two cakes and a glass of milk in the morning, she hadn't eaten anything since, and now she felt hungry.
Grace decided to go out and find something to eat, wondering if the restaurant still served food at this hour.

On her way to the restaurant, she was called by name.
"Grace."

Grace turned around and saw Jessica in a skirt.

"Ms. Cole, what a coincidence," Grace replied.

Jessica walked over to Grace. "Not really, I've been looking for you for almost a day."

Grace felt helpless; it seemed that Jessica was here to cause trouble.

Last time, when she launched her own brand, Jessica showed up, appearing to be a friend, but in reality, she was there for Xavier.
After Grace refused to help Jessica arrange a meeting with Xavier, she never saw Jessica again.

"I heard you were here too. I wanted to hang out with you together, but I haven't seen you all day." Jessica came over and naturally took Grace's wrist, as if they long-time friends.

Grace pulled her hand away. "I've been in my room all day."

"I see. By the way, can I stay with you? I arrived late and there are no rooms available."

Grace was shocked. Jessica wanted to stay with her?
Had Jessica lost her mind?
Jessica was Skigeth's top socialite, and the Cole family was a century-old enterprise. She was a wealthy and influential lady who probably had never shared a room with anyone else in her life.
If Jessica were an ordinary person, Grace might not reject.
But Jessica's purpose was clear, probably related to Xavier.

"Ms. Cole, you know I'm not alone here, so it might not be appropriate." Grace was subtle in her response, not explicit, but Jessica should understand.
Jessica had indeed heard from Edith that Grace had come with Ryan, which might indeed be inconvenient.

In fact, Jessica had made the reservation, but she was just trying to win Grace over for help.

"It's okay, I can find somewhere else to stay," Jessica replied.
"I wonder why Ms. Cole is looking for me. Is there something you need?" Grace asked directly.
"We're friends, of course, I'm looking for you to hang out." Jessica replied.

Grace was straightforward. "Ms. Cole, don't beat around the bush."
She didn't want to establish any friendship with Jessica, with her backgrounds and personalities.

"You're really straightforward. So I'll be direct. I told you last time that I want us to be family. Tomorrow morning, I want to watch the sunrise with Xavier. Can you help me with this?"

Jessica wanted to seize this opportunity before Xavier left Skigeth, as she might not have another chance.

Grace knew that Jessica's request was all about Xavier.

"I'm sorry, Ms. Cole, but I really can't help with this. I'm not very familiar with Mr. Montgomery," Grace replied.

"But I heard you had breakfast with Xavier this morning. You can't claim not to know him," Jessica retorted.
"We just happened to run into each other. I don't know where Xavier is now, so I can't help you."
"You must have Xavier's contact information. Just give me his details," Jessica commanded.
"I don't have Xavier's contact information." Grace refused directly, "I may not be able to help you. If you want to meet Xavier, it's better to do it yourself. I gotta off, sorry."

Grace walked straight towards the restaurant, with Jessica, behind her, clenching her fists tightly.

'Why was Grace so arrogant? She had already set aside her pride to ask for Grace's help, and talking to someone like her was already showing respect.' Jessica mocked inwardly.

In normal times, Jessica wouldn't even bother with an ordinary woman like Grace.

Jessica wondered, 'Could it be true, as Edith said, that Grace was interested in Xavier?'
