Chapter 273 Mutual Discomfort, No One Will Have It Easy
When Kelly entered Patrick's office, Patrick was working. He already held a strong dislike for Kelly, and her entrance without knocking only reinforced his conviction that she was completely unworthy of being a part of the Montgomery family.
"Don't you know how to knock? Didn't your mother teach you?" Patrick's tone was very displeased.
"I didn't think I need to knock when entering my own home, Mr.Montgomery, right? Or should I call you Dad?" Kelly said.
After all, they would be family soon. It wouldn not be appropriate for Kelly to call Patrick Dad now, since Ryan was already her husband.
"You haven't married Ryan yet!" Patrick said with a stern face, his eyes showing sharpness.
"I think it's only a matter of time, isn't it? I already have Ryan's child. Even if you don't like me, the child is at least a descendant of the Montgomery family." Kelly said.
Patrick's eyes revealed a clear sense of disgust, yet he found himself unable to take any immediate action against Kelly in that moment.
Kelly was so arrogant, and now she was even walking all over him.
Did Kelly really think that just because she was pregnant, she could do whatever she wanted?
"What exactly do you want?" Patrick was already impatient.
"Since you've already acknowledged me as Ryan's wife, isn't it time for me to come to the Montgomery Mansion for a meal and discuss the wedding details?" Kelly asked.
"You think you're worthy of entering our home?" Patrick had never been threatened like this before.
Even if Kelly were destined to marry in, it wouldn't be that easy.
"If my son in my belly hears you talking about me, he won't be happy. If something goes wrong, I can still get pregnant again, but Ryan..."
Patrick's grip on his pen was so tight that it nearly bent, and his eyes emanated a terrifying intensity. However, Kelly no longer felt afraid in that moment.
"Mr. Patrick Montgomery, since I'm going to marry in sooner or later, Ryan and Grace's engagement is over. "You don't need to worry about that," Patrick said coldly.
"Kelly, put away your pretentious cleverness. I will settle these scores with you in due time!"

Once Kelly had the child, he would make her pay!
Kelly said, "I believe you'll see my good sides. I don't think I'm any worse than Grace. Why can Grace do it, but I can't?"
At that moment, the secretary knocked and entered, carrying the juice Kelly had requested.
"Who told you to make juice?" Patrick had nowhere to vent his anger.

"Show her out," Patrick ordered.
"Yes, Mr. Patrick Montgomery." The secretary naturally didn't dare to offend Patrick and had to look at Kelly. "Ms. Simmons, this way, please."
Kelly took her bag and left Patrick's office.
While Kelly refrained from mentioning Grace's mother's ashes, she subtly probed the situation to gauge Patrick's response. It became apparent that he had no intention of addressing or bringing out the ashes.
But she had to get them. She planned to go to the Montgomery Mansion now to see if Patrick had left them there.
At the Montgomery Mansion, Ryan and Amy were at the hospital, and only Wendy was home.
Wendy knew what had happened to Ryan, but she didn't expect it was all Kelly's doing.
She and Kelly actually got along well, or rather, Kelly was good at pleasing people. Kelly always knew how to say the right things to her, so she thought Kelly was great.

Kelly covered her face. "I think it's more appropriate for you to call me sister-in-law."
"You still have the nerve to come here? Ryan is still in the hospital!"
"Why can't I come? What does Ryan being in the hospital have to do with me? But you, as his sister, don't even visit him. Or do you wish Ryan wouldn't come back, or that he wouldn't have children, so everything in the Montgomery family would be yours?"
"You're talking nonsense! I never thought that!"
"Who knows what you're thinking? Isn't the one who benefits the most now you? Wendy, don't look at me like that. Don't worry, I'm definitely better than Grace. We're still friends."
As she spoke, Kelly touched Wendy's shoulder.
Wendy immediately dodged. "Who's friends with you? You're just as despicable as Grace!"
She used to dislike Grace, but at least Grace never did such despicable things. Kelly had now completely ruined Ryan!
Kelly nonchalantly wandered around the Montgomery Mansion, even preparing to go upstairs. However, Wendy stopped her. "Who allowed you to go up?"
Kelly pushed her aside. "I'm about to move in. Is there a problem with me taking a look around?"
"This is my home. I don't allow you to move in." Wendy was furious and even wanted to push Kelly.
Kelly stood still. "Go ahead and push me. If anything happens to the baby in my belly, do you think Ryan and your parents will let you off?"
Since things had come to this, they might as well all suffer together.
Wendy didn't dare move and could only watch as Kelly went upstairs, looking around everywhere, even entering her parents' room.
The thought of Kelly moving in and seeing her face every day made Wendy furious.
When Grace arrived at the hospital, it was already evening. After leaving the café, she went to the supermarket, bought some things, and made some food.
She also messaged Kieran, telling them not to prepare dinner.
Grace made some dishes and even stewed some soup.
The chicken soup had been stewing for several hours, very tender, with the aroma of chicken fully released. The rich soup smelled delicious. Grace put it in a thermos and brought it to the hospital.
Kieran had already told Xavier not to prepare dinner, and Xavier could guess why, so he waited at the hospital.
