Chapter 483 Showing Off Affection

"Grace, is this true?" Victor still couldn't believe it.

Grace nodded, "Yes."

"I thought I would be the first to become a dad, but Xavier beat me to it!" Victor was unwilling to accept it.

But what could he do? Unless a woman got pregnant, he couldn't catch up with Xavier.

He lost!

How could he not surpass Xavier in his career, and now he couldn't even beat him in this?

Colin said, "I thought I would get married and have kids before Xavier, too. But why do you call her Grace?"

Victor said, "Do you have a seven-second memory like a fish? Don't you recognize Grace?"

Colin's eyes widened, "She's Grace?"

Victor nodded, "Who else? How could Xavier let another woman carry his child or, let another woman wear his hand chain and be so obedient? He spoiled her himself."

Colin couldn't believe the woman in front of him was Grace. But looking closely, he thought she did look like Grace, with those same lively eyes.

Colin covered his mouth, "Grace."

Grace smiled and blinked, "Sorry to disappoint you, but I really am Grace."

Colin really couldn't believe it. Grace was so beautiful that he almost didn't recognize her.

"You... he..." Colin was at a loss for words.

Xavier said, "Alright, sit down. She is Grace, now my girlfriend and soon to be my wife."

"Why do I feel like you're showing off affection?" Isaac complained.

Xavier openly held Grace's hand and brought it to his lips for a kiss, "Is that a problem?"

Everyone else: "Gross!"

Xavier smirked, his smile deep and his eyes full of love as he looked at Grace.

"So, are you guys getting married soon? Should I prepare a gift?" Victor asked.

Xavier was moving fast; they must be getting married soon.

Xavier said, "She hasn't agreed to marry me yet."

"What?"

Unbelievably, someone actually didn't agree to marry Xavier.

If word got out that Xavier's proposal was rejected, it would be a global joke.

"I think she shouldn't agree to marry him so quickly. Grace, Xavier is too arrogant. You should teach him a lesson for us so we don't feel like God is unfair, giving him such a good face and a smart brain." Victor supported Xavier.

Colin also said, "I agree. If such a beautiful girl like Grace ends up with Xavier, wouldn't he have all the good things in the world? He should be bullied!"

Grace was amused and exasperated. Were these really Xavier's brothers? They all hoped Xavier would be sad for a while.

Xavier said coldly, "Do you all not want to do business anymore?"

Victor chuckled, "If Mr. Montgomery invests in my company and helps me sign the actor Lucius, I will definitely persuade Grace to marry you every day."

Lucius, on the other hand, was relatively aloof. Because he spoke little, he gave off a distant vibe, but in reality, he was a very good person.

"I currently have no plans to sign with a company, but..."

"But what?" Victor asked.

"But your company should strengthen its protection of artists' safety. If they can get injured so easily while filming, will there be life-threatening situations in the future?"

Victor was stunned. He didn't expect Lucius to be so concerned about his company.

But why did Lucius say that? Did someone in the company get injured?

As the boss, Victor wasn't very clear about the details.

But since Lucius mentioned it, Victor would definitely strengthen it.

"Mr. Grey is right. I may have been negligent in managing the company. Please supervise more in the future."

Victor handed over a glass of wine, and Lucius took it, "Just call me Lucius."

Lucius drank it and looked at Grace, "I have a favor to ask of Ms. Lewis."

"Go ahead," Grace didn't expect Lucius to have a request for her.

"Is Tristan still your spokesperson?"

Grace nodded. Tristan had been the spokesperson for Iris since its inception and had never changed.

Grace had personally chosen him from Victor's company. She had even seen Tristan last time in Oakworth.

Lucius took out a piece of paper from his bag, quickly wrote something on it, and handed it to Grace, "If you have time, could you visit him?"

Grace took it, "No problem, but why don't you go yourself? You and he..."

Lucius knew what Grace wanted to ask and said directly, "He is my half-brother."

His parents divorced early. Lucius was aloof from a young age. Later, his father brought home a woman and asked him to call her mom, but he refused.

The woman brought a son with her, who called him brother with a smile the first time they met.

He was like a little sun, always smiling at everyone, but that kind of sunshine made the aloof Lucius uncomfortable.

He had pushed Tristan away countless times, but Tristan still clung to him, asking him to help with homework, even though Tristan was excellent and knew how to do it. It was just an excuse to get close to him.

Later, Lucius went to high school and rarely went home. After graduation, he entered the entertainment industry, and his first film made him famous. With countless fans, he had even less contact with his family.

But Tristan persisted in sending him messages every day. Tristan was such a fool that it annoyed Lucius.

Even though Lucius never replied, Tristan kept at it.

Lucius had even deleted his contact, but Tristan left messages on Twitter, persisting to this day.

Sometimes, when Tristan was too busy, he would make up for it the next day.

Tristan chose to enter the entertainment industry for two reasons: to follow in Lucius's footsteps and to prove he wasn't after the Grey family's fortune.

Despite Lucius's coldness, Tristan always considered him his brother, though he never mentioned Lucius in public or used his fame to create opportunities for himself.

Grace had suspected something between Tristan and Lucius but didn't expect them to be brothers.

Grace said, "Why don't you go yourself? He would be so happy to see you."

Lucius said, "No, our relationship isn't that good."

"And please don't tell him I asked you to go."

Grace was silent.

How could someone care about another person so secretly?
