Chapter 403 Stephanie Causes Trouble for Grace and Gets Her Face Swollen

After a three-hour flight, the plane finally touched down in Skigeth.

It was almost Christmas, and the weather in Skigeth was surprisingly nice.

Stephanie, rocking a coat and sunglasses, looked at the city with pure disdain.

She hated this place, and the people in it, especially Grace.

She knew her arrival wouldn't stay a secret for long; Xavier would probably find out soon enough.

She didn't even bother hiding it; she wanted Xavier to know she was in town. Besides, she knew Xavier cared about Grace, and he might come running after her soon.

Stephanie knew she was playing with fire, but that was exactly what she wanted. She wanted Grace to see her and Xavier together, to make Grace feel like she could never have him. That made it all the more thrilling.

She knew Xavier would be with her, after all, it was Joseph's dying wish. She loathed Grace. If Grace was driven to some desperate act, like jumping off a building, well, that would be a bonus.

Stephanie blamed Grace for everything, especially Joseph's death. In her eyes, Grace deserved nothing less than to suffer.

Stephanie had no way back. At least, before Xavier found out everything, she had to make sure he and Grace could never be together.

Underneath her sunglasses, Stephanie's eyes were filled with hatred.

Stephanie immediately had someone track down Grace. The news came back quickly: Grace wasn't at her company or home; she had gone to a vacation resort.

Stephanie had someone book a room at the resort too; she was going there.

She wondered if Grace would be surprised to see her.

Stephanie was really looking forward to Grace's reaction; it would definitely be something.

In her view, Grace had a pathetic life. Stephanie believed Grace's small company only survived because of Xavier's help. Without him, Grace wouldn't be able to do anything.

But Stephanie saw herself as different. Even if Joseph were gone, she'd still be part of the Park family. Her status was way above Grace's.

When she got to the resort, Stephanie sent someone to find out where Grace was.

Grace was admiring the sunset from a perfect spot. The winter sunlight was warm, not like the scorching summer heat.

She had watched the sunset here with Xavier before, but now things were different.

Not far away, Stephanie saw Grace's profile, thinking she was still as ugly as ever.

Stephanie couldn't understand how someone like Grace had caught Xavier's eye, or why he was so into her. Xavier was willing to do anything for Grace.

The sunset's afterglow spread over the sea, creating a beautiful scene. There were lots of people on the beach watching the sunset.

Stephanie walked over, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "Well, well, well. Look who it is, enjoying the sunset. The homewrecker herself."

Stephanie's words immediately drew a lot of attention, especially with the word "homewrecker."

Grace turned around, not expecting to see Stephanie.

Grace, who had been enjoying the beautiful scenery, suddenly had a dark expression.

She didn't want to see Stephanie or anything related to Xavier.

Not wanting to get tangled up with Stephanie, Grace decided to leave. But Stephanie grabbed her arm. "Wait, you're leaving now? Grace, what a shame. You had a fiancé and still climbed into his uncle's bed. Don't you know Xavier is my boyfriend? You must have enjoyed being the mistress, but too bad my boyfriend has seen your true colors and dumped you!"

Stephanie was like a madwoman, her voice so loud that almost everyone heard it.

Her words were so explosive that everyone turned to look and started whispering.

Grace knew Stephanie was here to cause trouble, but she didn't expect Stephanie to twist the truth so shamelessly.

Stephanie was happily cursing when Grace suddenly raised her hand and slapped Stephanie hard across the face.

Stephanie was stunned. After several seconds, she covered her face and roared, "How dare you hit me? I'll kill you!"

Stephanie raised her hand, ready to hit Grace back.

But Stephanie, a woman from a wealthy family, was no match for Grace. Grace easily grabbed Stephanie's wrist and quickly slapped her again.

Now Stephanie's face was symmetrical, with handprints on both sides.

"I did break up with Xavier, but when I was with him, it had nothing to do with you. You must be delusional, fantasizing that Xavier is your boyfriend. As far as I know, Xavier has never been with you. Who's the real mistress here is clear." Grace sneered, "You desperately want to be the mistress, but Xavier might not even look at you. Isn't that right, Stephanie? You've used all sorts of dirty tricks, but has he ever looked at you?"

Stephanie originally intended to come over and embarrass Grace, but unexpectedly, Grace's words hit her hard.

Stephanie felt like a knife had been stabbed into her heart because even now, after they had broken up, Xavier hadn't looked at her. She hadn't seen Xavier in days.

"Anyway, I never agreed to the engagement with Ryan. The whole story is online. If you're too dumb to understand, I'm not going to explain it to you. I don't know why you're here, but if you want trouble, I'm ready for it!" Grace's eyes were as cold as ice, terrifyingly so.

Stephanie trembled as she looked at Grace. Grace was still holding her wrist, and Stephanie couldn't understand where Grace got the strength to make her wrist hurt so much.

At that moment, Grace's aura was very much like Xavier's, making Stephanie too scared to breathe.

"Shrew! You're just causing trouble because you're ugly. Even with makeup, you're still hideous!!" Stephanie cursed.

But this didn't affect Grace at all. Grace sneered, "Takes one to know one. Who knows what you look like under all that makeup."

Stephanie, confident in her natural beauty, saw makeup as mere enhancement. She was beautiful with or without it. Grace, on the other hand…

"Let's take off our makeup right now!" Stephanie challenged, her voice rising. "Let everyone see who's really prettier!" She would show Grace what real beauty looked like.

She wanted to outshine Grace and show her what true natural beauty was.

Grace looked up at her and asked, "Are you sure? You want to compare bare faces?"

Stephanie's face was swollen from the slaps, and if she took off her makeup in front of everyone, it would look even worse.

Stephanie thought Grace was scared and laughed loudly, "Are you afraid?"

"Hardly," Grace said calmly. "I just think you'll regret it."
